“The whole staff are professional and friendly. I'm a week post op and the difference is remarkable. ZA the receptionist was amazing super helpful and always with a smile on her face .
Update : almost a year later. so they don't warn you the healing process is very long they don't inform you of the details. Overall not satisfied. After thousands of dollars and numerous sessions on massages yes with the machine I am left very lumpy , uneven . Embarrassed to even show my stomach. The point was to wear a 2 piece and I can't.”

“My Experience was one of Pure Satisfaction and Delight!!! The staff and faculty were Wonderful. I was Pleasantly Greeted upon entering and met a very personable young man named William that explained what my visit would entail and indulgently adressed my post op and procedural concerns.
I then received a VenusLegacy treatment by Jeanette who patiently Explained in depth the benefits of the treatment and what to Expect upon leaving. My 3 month Post Op Exam was performed by Stephanie which was the cherry on top of my TGIF Fun Day Sundae!!! She gave me Sooooo Much encouragement, recommendations and really made me feel at ease and optimistic about the future results of my procedure.

“I'm writing this review because I just had my procedure done. I'm going to be very honest. I had a wonderful and humbling experience at Sono Bello. The staff there are incredibly friendly, respectful, and professional to the utmost. I had my own fears and stigmas coming in to do this procedure. One being a male and two being in the Military. Honest to God, the entire staff immediately put those fears to rest. I felt extremely comfortable and totally respected. Alyssa was very welcoming and friendly. She is a wealth of information. She is extremely supportive and professional. Dr. Koumanis, who was my Doctor was extremely friendly and professional. He explained the entire procedure step by step, which made it easier for me to grasp. He actually referred me to 2 books, in which I've already purchased and started reading. Great books and it's something that's tangible for me to achieve. The entire Sono Bello staff have given me a new light to achieve my goals. I want to continue to share my experience and goals achieved with the staff. They're extremely supportive and helpful. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and they maintain the level of professionalism and confidentiality to the utmost. I have no regrets or buyer's remorse. It's something that was needed for me. This is a journey that will have a (ROI) - Return of Investment.

“I'm pretty disappointed. I had a liposuction procedure in 2022. In my opinion there was not enough fat removed. At the 6 month's checkup I discussed it with the Nurse and the Dr....they said, will do the procedure agin for free. I will be contacted soon.... This was in May. In July I called back about this matter, they said the manager is not in today, and the Dr. is not there anylonger...I will get a call....It is the end of August, no call at all.
This place is a BS...Nobody cares about you, they are very kind just to pull your money out of your pocket.
Stay away from this BUSINESS...”

“I paid a lot of money and the job was not done correctly. Then, I was insulted by the doctor. I lost my husband March is 1 year and shortly after the surgery I broke my foot. The doctor then told me how could you gain 5 pounds most people lose weight. First of all, I was astonished at this comment, everyone is different and if she had done an excellent job the first time, I wouldn't have to lose 5 pounds now for her to correct her mistake. “I had an appointment for a consultation scheduled for 9:30AM and arrived early as instructed. I filled out the paperwork and waited for over an hour. When I asked how much longer I was expected to wait I was told they only have one consultant and that I’d need to wait another 20 minutes. That wasn’t an option for me so I left and will never be going back. They obviously over book their time and expect people to just wait with no regard for the patients time. Poor experience I do not recommend.”

“I had surgery with Dr. K on March 31, 2023. This is my first time ever having liposuction surgery. I'm not one for liposuction, BBL, & etc. I've literally tried a variety of diets & nothing worked, this was my very last option. I somewhat looked forward to this to assist with my weight loss being that I was told I wouldn't lose any weight via lipo. Now I'm not unrealistic about anything. Literally during my one week follow up as pictures were taken, I advised the person I'm very disappointed with my results. Now as I spoke with the assistant manager of the practice on May 24, 2023 in the five o'clock hour, she advised me after her & my consultant kayla reviewed my pictures that more could have been done to remove the fat. As I told Kayla in the email, I have been eating healthy, practically exercising while doing daily activities, wearing my faja as instructed, doubling up on my faja's & even wearing an infinity waist wrap while wearing them. I've had to go up in jean sizes from a 12 to a 14. Before surgery 12's were fitting to big or just right. Now they don't fit at all. I also have had one out of three Venus massages. I was advised there are options to fix this, I chose to go the refund route. I told the manager I no longer trust the surgeon & have nothing to say to her. She also advised me to keep my appointments & that she'd pass this on to higher ups. In my opinion she did not give a damn as long as she did the bare minimum & got paid. I was told I would be awake for the surgery. I was actually put to sleep & have no memory of the surgery. Only arriving & leaving. I also told the assistant manager I have nothing to say to the surgeon, no negative rebuttal to her, nor any negative projections towards her. One of the reasons why I never wanted to do a surgery like this.
Look elsewhere before choosing sonobello!”

“Jannette was an amazing esthetician. She brought to my attention how important it was to get my lumps removed post surgery as soon as possible. She also informed me that some clinics do not have adequate Venus massage machines and sometimes that’s why they charge less. These are all the reasons my I did my Venus massage with Sono Bello and my results where great! I really appreciated this because I never would have known and my results would have turned out badly. She also advised me on what to do after my Venus massage treatments ended. She made sure I knew everything I needed to know.”

“I heard great things about the Company as a whole and even looked up some youtube videos where people had got the procedure done. So the only conclusion I can come to is that this location in NYC is TRASH. The binder they give you right after the procedure is extremely rough and ripped up my skin giving me permanent scars on my butt and upper back that I didn't even notice till I took the first shower after the procedure (the meds were covering the pain of it).
They do not give you comprehensive advisements on what you will have to do post procedure, like how you not only have to drain your points of incisions but also will have to get venus treatments to help alleviate the ugly scar tissue the procedure creates. Before they even finalize a payment for the procedure they should tell people in the consultation how much additional fees you will have to pay just to get the best healing process and hopefully not come out a lumpy-dumpy mess.
They offer to redo the surgery if you're unsatisfied but understand that you will have to do that whole grueling, hellish process again and pay for more Venus Treatments to hopefully break down the scar tissue issue, so it's just more money in the pockets while you're hoping "this time" turns out well or better.

It's an expensive and time consuming process and still requires alot of exercise and diet changes to make sure results stay. It's not a quick fix nor will it work easily for those who have unhealthy 9-5 jobs and other obligations that can affect their process. I've heard good things about other locations in the U.S. but this NYC one isn't it. Some of the workers, nurses and even the secretaries upfront are very rude and condescending to the clientele, and lack compassion that this is your body that you trusted them with and they failed you. Imagine paying over $13,000 for a procedure that left you more permanently and mentally scarred than you ever were before. I regret going to this location and wish I could get my money back. I hope somebody sues them for their apathy and damages they done because they use cheap materials (like the rough, skin-disfiguring burlap sack they called a binder) when dealing with their patients/clients. Trash location and Trash services. 10/10 do NOT RECOMMEND!”

“Wonderful nurses, mgmt is very understanding and try to correct any mistakes, and clean place. However, the surgeon that did my procedure, didn't like. He was rude, nasty, and made me feel uncomfortable. Tried calling customer service multiple times, no support there at all. All you ever get is someone will call you back, yet, that never happens. Even weeks, months later.
You will think, after spending thousands, you will get the surgeon you would preferred and the response needed. Unhappy of my resolve as well. Wasted.

“My body transformation is not what expected. I did my procedure on October 2021 and unfortunately I still have this kangaroo pouch. The after care is horrible. On May 2022 got my 6 months follow up so I meet the nurse who check me up and I let her know that I'm not happy with the result. The nurse says not worry the doctor will redoing , at the point everything was fine. So the nurse, says go to front desk and do the appointment. I went do to my appointment and the front desk lady was standing in front of the desk doing nothing look not busy and she says we can't give you appointment right now but we going to call you soon. Well I thought, okay, they going call me. They didn't. So 3 weeks passed already so i call them back .They say don't know nothing about the appointment right now so " we call you back soon ". I wait, since I didn't hear from them I decided to call AGAIN in July finally they fit me in. The appointment was July 6 or something but one day before they reach me out to letting me know that Doc. got Covid witch I totally understand. So I asked to reschedule my appointment . The answer was - unfortunately we can't gave you an appointment but someone is going to call you soon"- .again I wait 2-3 weeks. I call them back about my case and the lady in the phone says they don't know yet and she need several hours to do an appointment and cut off my call. So I gave several hours and I call back AGAIN of course I'm the one I have to call because is my fault right, after all I trust in them. So I call them on Monday 26 and what the lady ( I assume is front desk) say " yeah unfortunately we have nothing available and honestly I don't know when is possible to give you an appointment ".I was in sock. At the point I understand, they don't care and feel bad because I pay it isn't free. So I ask who should I speak to have refund . So minutes later some call and say: I can gave you an appointment but it will be until September 16 in afternoon but the appointment might change. Omg!!! The is so wrong. I wish I hadn't gone to the place.
However I give 2 star 🌟 only for Jhinite Urbi I think is her name I don't know if she still work there but she was great she gave me my Venus treatment she was patient and kind.”

They said it can take about 6 months to see final results, but I’ve lost 2 inches on my waist, and 4 inches in my lower body already. I signed up for 8 Venus massages- originally 4 but, bought another 4 because I had a decent amount of (lumpy) scar tissue, and saw improvement with the first 4. For Venus massage, Jinnette is the best! She really wants you to get the most out of the process and best results possible. She specifically work on areas, where I had lumpy scar tissue until they were gone and my stomach was flat & smooth! Highly recommend all around. Convenient location and great front desk staff too.”

“Had a revision surgery done by Dr.Lauren Chimlewski in September of 2021 - in my pre-op, we discussed revising my abdomen (uneven and fat left) and my sides and front bra roll as a lot of fat was left there by a previous surgeon. Dr.Chimlewski was wonderful during post op and during my surgery, but ONLY did my abdomen, not my sides or front bra roll. I do feel like she may have been in a rush to get out, because Sono Bello called me the day before, asking me to move my surgery time up (which I could not due to living 2 hours away and made arrangements for a driver). She was dressed and out the door before i was even clothed.

I will say she was very professional and great during surgery, however I did not get what was promised, which I paid close to 15K for originally. I have called the office to follow up with the practice manager over 20 times since October of 2021, with no call back. I was told that Dr.Chimlewski left the practice but I would at the very least appreciate a call back and another appt to finish the job! Very disappointed and unhappy.”

“Okay, okay. From the moment that I even decided to have this surgery until the surgery. Dr Chmielewski and Nurse Sophia were ABSOLUTELY THE BEST-TIS. Is that a word? Lol. Any who, Dr Chmielewski and nurse Sophia
made me feel overly comfortable and worry free. We were even singing while the lipo was actually in session. Now go figure. Sing while in surgery? Wow. What fun! After the surgery I felt great. I had anticipated on feeling like a wreck but surprisingly I felt good. Sort but bearable. 3 day feeling much better and finally showered. Draining stopped but feeling sort but again bearable. I am very sorry to have gone to the Long Island office for the procedure. The doctor’s bedside manner was disappointing. He didn’t tell me when he was about to insert the probe. I felt like I was and object not a human being. He nor his nursing staff told me that I needed to wear the garment for 23 hour per day (which resulted in me having excessive scar tissue) and now I had to pay for 4 more additional Venus sessions which the Long Island office should reimburse me for.
My recommendation is to go to the Manhattan office for you procedure and service.”

“I had my procedure done at the Lexington Ave. location in New York on July 9th of this year. Firstly the staff from the front desk ladies, nurse kelly, the surgical nurses Hazel and Jessica , Jinette the Aesthetician and the Surgeon are all great. They all made me feel welcome and are all accommodating.
I'm 52 and have been through menopause and have gained a lot of weight especially around my mid-section. I had lipo on my upper and lower abdomen and waist. The procedure seem to took no time, I was given a cocktail so I wasn't completely out and felt a lot of pressure during the procedure. For me the aftermath was difficult I had a rough time just trying to do everyday chores. There were a lot of discomfort and my mid section became so hard, it was like a large brick which made it even more difficult to just move around. I did not expect a miracle but did not expect to feel the way I did for so long. At my 8 week point, I went in for my complimentary Venus massage with Jinette. Jinette let me tell you, she is a miracle worker. I was very discourage because I couldn't understand why my abdomen was so hard. She explained some patients develop scar tissue and it will need to be softened and crystallized and remove therefore additional Venus massage was necessary. I paid for an additional 6 session and went every week. Jinette worked hard on my trouble areas and the heat at times was uncomfortable, and she was always so apologetic asking if I was ok, I had to deal with it because I knew it was necessary. Jinette also gave me some great tip to assist with my recovery process at home and it did help. Jinette is absolutely great at her job and gives her a 5 rating. Today was my last Venus massage and the hardness is not completely gone but I will continue to use all the tips Jinette gave me.
As I mention, I'm 52 and have been through menopause and I'm definitely not a size 2 so I wasn't expecting a miracle but I am not totally happy either. I expected to be further in my recovery and my results looking better than it does. I am an optimist and know its only 2 1/2 months in, so I will continue to believe that better results are coming. The one thing I am sure about is the Sono Bello team at the Lexington Avenue Location in New York is there to assist me the best they can to get me the best results. So I am going to keep my fingers cross and is why I have given this location a 5 star rating. ”

Cellulite has been my enemy for the passed 6 years. I’m only 31, so this sort of thing can get a bit depressing! My Mom was determined to help me with this and mentioned that Sono Bello has a treatment for cellulite called Venus. After trying creams and other places that didn’t help me at all, I decided it was time to go and try it out. The consultation went great with Simi, no pressure! They helped me with a financial plan and I was mentally prepared that this may or may not work because I’ve been disappointed in the past. My esthetician, Jinnette worked on me for a couple of weeks and to be honest, I started seeing results after 2 sessions. It wasn’t drastic, but definitely reduced my cellulite, and I began to see a difference along with gaining some confidence! Jinnette was super nice, she was very informative and patiently answered all of my questions. I loved that she explained everything to me and even gave me some tips on what to do at home to help with this process. To be honest, I’m so happy I Went to sono bello and met her because now that I’m nearly done with my sessions, my cellulite has definitely improved. “I absolutely love the atmosphere, the girls at the desk, the nurses in the back, the doctors, everyone from the consultation to the billing were pleasant, friendly, helpful and compassionate. I walked in excited during the consultation, nervous before the procedure, a little apprehensive and fearful when I got home, but every step of the way, the staff at Sonobello show concerned, are extremely compassionate, answer all my questions, take their time with me, encouraged me and reminded me that this procedure is a process. After 2 months I dropped from a 16 to a 12. I loss inches all over. Its 3 months later and I wear an 10. I am very satisfied with my progress. I am looking forward to my 6 month check up. “From the moment I went for my first consultation the interviewer made me feel at ease.. Once I signed up for my procedure I was very excited.. The staff at the reception desk are very friendly and accommodating. I like that they follow up with a thank you email after every one of my visits. They also call in advance to confirm an appointment. I'm about to have my last Venus massage and I must say, I am going to miss the entire staff at the Manhattan office. We're on a first name basis which makes them feel like family. I like that I can call them anytime for a question or problem. I'm very satisfied with the results of the procedure I did. The environment of the office is very bright and cheery. It's also very easy to get to by train.The medical staff are knowledgeable and ready to give you tips on how to speed up the end results; things you could do at home. “RUN THE OTHER WAY. I had my surgery in May, shortly thereafter, I returned because my arm was warm to the touch and looked swollen. I could not see a Doctor, they only let you be seen by a nurse. She told me "completely normal" so I went home. Three days later my arm was the size of my leg. I went back and the same nurse told me it looks fine. This is normal. I insisted they let me see a Doctor who came in, took one look at my arm and said "Oh! you have cellulitis and should go to emergency room immediately!" Turns out I spent a day in the hospital and my left arm looks deformed.
Forgot to mention he gave me a prescription after diagnosing. I picked it up and it called for 1 pill for 30 days. I knew that wasn't right after researching how dangerous Cellulitis was (could cause necessary amputation) so I called the emergency line that night 3 times and still haven't heard from anyone, it's August. Obviously, had to go to another plastic surgeon for treatment. NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!”
