My nurse for my procedure today was Kennedy. She was polite, professional and so kind. She could tell I was nervous and instantly calmed me. Thank you to her. She made me feel like she honestly cared. She talked to me the whole time I was in there and made me feel like my questions were valid. That’s what you want as a patient.
Then there’s Dr Laun. He’s great. He is a very skilled surgeon. Explaining everything as he went along, constantly asking if I was ok. He definitely cares for each patient. This is much needed. I can’t thank him enough.

And I can’t forget the office manager Michelle. She cares deeply about the office running smoothly and efficiently. However, she does it with warmth and grace!

“There are very few negative reviews for Sono Bello on Google. If you want to see the other side of the story go to the Better Business Bureau site. I wish I'd seen it and not trusted Google or the Sono Bello site. Hopefully, if this isn't removed, others can see both sides and make an educated decision.

As with many others sited on the BBB site, this has NOT been a good experience for me. I had lipo on stomach, sides and back. Honestly one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Three months in, I am definitely not seeing the results I had hoped. I have severe scar tissue in my lower abdomen which looks worse than before the surgery. I'm paying $1000s now for lymphatic massage and other therapy to try and correct this. I refuse to give this company any more of my money for their venus treatment.

The worst part is the nerve pain. I have constant nerve pain in my back and sides from this procedure. The only way I can sleep is with prescription pain meds. This is not an easy procedure, physically or mentally. Your recovery can take months and months longer than they say it should.

It's not all bad. I have found most of the staff to be friendly, kind people. I was upset because I was told I would not see my surgeon until my 6 month appt but then after a negative feedback survey was told I could see him sooner. He answered my questions to my satisfaction. I still wish I'd never done this. Think long and hard before you proceed. It's a LOT of money and there's a very good chance you will be disappointed.”

When I went back to see Lori, she was great about answering my question and gave me option for financing and a realistic view of my body transformation. There was no sales pressure at all and she continued to help me and answer question as I was figured out financing.

All the nurses were great and professional.

Dr. Laun was so down to earth, easy to talk to and very professional. He made sure that my comfort was his priority. He listen to me and gave positive feed back during the surgery. I wish all medical facilities were as comforting as the Boise Sono Bella team.”

“I was interested in liposuction, so I contacted Sono Bello. I went in for a consultation and received a quote for the procedure. I decided to move forward with the work and was asked to put down a $2,495 deposit. I put down the deposit and we scheduled the procedure for a few weeks out. A couple of days later I received a text from the consultant I was working with. She (Danni) told me that I would have to stop chewing tobacco for two weeks prior to the procedure. I have been chewing for 22 years and it is not something that I can just stop doing for two weeks like it is no big deal. I have struggled trying to quit for decades. In light of this new information, I told Danni that I would not be able to proceed with the procedure. Danni told me that the deposit was non-refundable, apparently no matter the circumstances. I insisted that I get a refund since I was not given this information prior to putting down my deposit, but she refused. So I am out $2,495, and Sono Bello did about 1 hour worth of work in my estimation. I am more than a little upset because of this. I feel like my money was stolen from me. I have no idea if their quality of work is good or not, but their business practices are quite shady. Please be cautious if you decide to work with Sono Bello. Do not put a deposit down unless you are 100% sure that you will be moving forward with a procedure. Unfortunately, they might tell you new information after they have taken your money that changes whether you want the procedure done or not, as that is what happened to me.

Edit:
After I posted this review, someone from Sono Bello's customer service department reached out to me to help resolve my complaint. It took a few days, but I was able to get my deposit refunded. I am appreciative for this, but it should have never risen to the level it did. The clinic I was dealing with should have worked with me to refund my deposit, but they were not willing to. So I changed my review to 3 stars from 1 because I was able to get my deposit back, but the process was not pleasant.”

“I went in for upper, mid, lower abs along with pubic, hips and waist on August 11th. I was excited and extremely nervous. I’ve never had a surgery before. I was very blessed to have Dr. Samas and his assistant Jamaica for my surgery. Jamaica was very helpful and walked me through how the whole procedure would go. She was 100% right on, everything went as planned. Dr. Samas had the best bedside manners and throughout the whole procedure he repeatedly asked if I was comfortable, if I was doing okay. The vibe in the room was very calming, comfortable, and it was very reassuring to hear both Jamaica and Dr. Samas say continuously how pleased they were with the work they were performing. After returning home from the procedure the same day, I was able to get up every two hours and walk around. I was able to return back to work four days later. It’s now been a month since my procedure and I’ve been able to do normal day to day activities for a few weeks now.
I went back in for my second procedure today, September 5th. I was blessed again to have Dr. Samas and Jamaica. I had my inner thighs and arms done and once again the experience was better than ever. It’s very reassuring to hear them say how pleased they were with the work they were doing. Despite the procedure, the experience was so awesome! Dr. Samas greatly enjoys the work he performs along with his assistant, Jamaica. I believe I have had the best experience one could get. My results are amazing! It’s just so reassuring to know that Sonobello truly has my best interest in mind. So much so that during my consultation with Dr. Samas, I asked about having procedure done on other areas of my body and instead of just doing what I wanted, or what I thought I needed done, he very kindly let me know that they were not problem areas at all. He explained how the procedures I was already getting would benefit the areas I had concern about. I could go on and on about how fantastic my experience was. I encourage anyone looking for your dream body contouring experience to allow Sonobello in assisting you. I assure you will be just as grateful as I am.
