“I have been seen by an esterician at this location for a few Venus trestments . Today, I sat in thre wait room for 15 minutes, after the time of the session. She pushed her hands through her hair , turned her back to me and proceed to walk to the room, as if though her reaponse "I had to fit someone in." She stayed longe wnough to argue with me. Her name is Alexis. I have observed her talk to the receptionist is a disgruntled manner.often time she has a flat affect and lack customer service skills.
I was comped a couple sessions. Today's interaction was not good.”

“The procedure I wanted was very expensive. Abex plus lipo for front and back costed $20k+ but I got a "discount" bc I was a returning customer which brought it down to $14k+...still very expensive. And the consultant told me come April 1 of this year the prices will increase. The consultant seemed upset bc I didn't want to book with them. Like not sorry lady..I'm not paying that no thank you. No wonder their ratings are below a 4.”

Then I see the ad on TV that says they can treat excess fat I guess a free consultation is just what you get they weren’t getting any money from me so there you go I felt very defeated and truthfully, because I’m a little older, maybe not so important”

Doctor was wonderful but needs a new staff.

I can't believe I just spent $15,000 and called with a question and was treated like garbage and she didn't even listen to the question.

“I had a first surgery that did not meet expectations so they did grant me a revision. The second surgeon, Dr Gupta, did a great job and now I am very happy ! I wish this is how the first surgery went but happy they performed the revision at first did not think they were going to honor it but they followed through. I would recommend them to a friend”

“This is the worst place to go. They just there to take your money and they never care about you. I went for night visit and they told me the the procedure were going to work on my neck. My neck got worse after fighting with them to either give me my money back or do another type of procedure. They never did anything to accommodate me I. Don’t recommend this place for nothing. They are not professionals. They are very ignorant and they are there. Tool take your money. I am very upset with your service. Don’t let them do the same to you search for other places that can help you but don’t. Visit this people they are not worth it.”

“A really bad experience.I had my surgery back on April, I had upper ab , lower ab, waist and the skin removal. And since than I have been seeing them for check ups . And I kept asking if the results were going to show up any time soon, they kept telling me that I was swollen because I didn’t feel any difference, it looks like the doctor only remove my skin! I still were the same size I was wearing and they measured me before. At my 6 month post op, I asked if I can have more fat to me remove since they give a 12 month guaranty if the results are not as expected, I was told by the doctor to lose 5 pound come back to see if she can help me ! And I paid 15, 000 for this ! It is not what they advertised. This was at the Woburn location.”

“Consultation was fine. Yes, the salesperson pushed for a commitment but that’s to be expected. The pre-op went fine as well, although I had to wait half an hour past my time to be seen, and sat in the pre-op room another half an hour before the actual doctor showed up. In hindsight that was red flag number one- overbooked doctor.

Day of the procedure, I check in a few minutes before my appointment and am asked to sign paperwork. Half an hour goes by. They tell me the doctor is running a bit behind but it will be another hour max. Annoying, but I let it go. The hour passes and I check in again. I’m told it may be another hour before I can be seen. Honestly that’s it. I no longer trust this place to be reliable. Clearly the doctor is overbooked, and who wants to be seen by a doctor that has to rush?

I ask to cancel and be refunded. Front desk gets a manager. Manager sits me down and says it isn’t their policy to refund the day of. I say, clearly there is a volume problem here where they have too many appointments for the time given. My appointment time has come and gone and they haven’t seen me. She says - it’s not a volume issue. There was a problem with the previous patient’s anesthesia.

As if this was supposed to resolve concerns? No, now I know that the doctor is overbooked and the anesthesia doesn’t work! I got the number for corporate office and left.

Will be trying to work with corporate office to be refunded as I now have zero confidence in this place. They need to fix their serious problems with both administration and care!”

Dr. Wiwek, amy, and all of the staff were so professional and helpful. They help put all my fears to rest. They took the best care of me from start to finish of my journey. “I purchased a very expensive procedure, as a result they gave me 2 "free Venus massages." On January 28, 2023 I was finally going to get my 1st free Venus massage. It was canceled the night before, via voicemail, with a message that I would get a call back to rebook. It will soon be 3 months and I've not been called back to be offered a new date. Yes, I could've called but they totally said they would. I would strongly encourage that before you have an abex with Sono Bello you check many other places. They are extremely expensive. The quality is not what it should be for the cost. I never received my Venus Treatments, and they were part of my package. I can't come during the week, so they have not honored their part of the package and never will. However, they are open on Saturdays!!!!!!!!”

“Worst customer service!!! After the procedure was done to my wife and I tried to contact them for days and there was not answer. She was suppose to be seen in a week after the procedure and they made a mistake and my wife was seen two weeks after it was done. If you want to have the feeling that you are in a factory and that the only care about getting paid this is the perfect place to go. I may have to take my wife to another Dr to address some issues.”

“After waiting near a hour for my consult I had the misfortune of meeting Brittany. She was glamorous. Yes. However, she has no business assessing anyone’s body, fat type, or cost to remove it. How do I know this? Well, she touched me with gloves she took out of a glass jar, and then put back into said glass jar after examining me. When I asked if she was a RN or nurse practitioner the answer was no.

She did then present me with an 11k quote.. based solely on my 26 BMI. When I asked for clarification on what the $2,995 surgical expense and double asterisk (above and beyond per area charge) at the end of the quote included, she explained the price to look good isn’t for everyone and I should do what’s best for me and to have a good day.

It was appalling. I went to the car, looked at the quote, and went back in to get clarity, from someone else on what the surgical cost referred to and a date applied to said “quote” as Brit had not filled it out- she did a great job highlighting though. I was intercepted by a woman with pink hair (who wrote on the quote) who explained the surgical charge covered the surgical gown and everything else. I asked for an itemized account of what “everything else” entailed and she responded with “you still look unprepared for the cost”. Still not a medical professional in sight.

No…just no. I was prepared for the cost… I was unprepared and in shock of the lack of detail and unprofessionalism displayed in a care environment. Do better. I would have paid whatever if someone educated could have explained it to me.”

Wife walked out embarrassed when we wanted to think about it, but instead were told that I HAD to sign a piece of paper that was about to ask 5 lenders for $25,000 credit limit. Only thighs were important to us. $8000 ($4500 for two fees beyond original quoted price) plus another likely $10,000 for skin removal. Offered/pushed/ and insulted because I refused $25,000 credit card application limit. I have original print outs. Then mocked! No medical people seen anywhere, but you want me to let you touch my wife? You are so deceitful and you know it! Delete all of our data. You do not have permission to share anything of ours!

Also, these guys give you the runaround, seems like office staff don’t know what they’re doing because I had to call multiple times for simple requests.

Not only this, but the care coordinator Brittany Pauk was very hard to reach. She was the prime person to handle my request but she ignored my messages and phone calls.

Trust me, you do not want to spend in the thousands for this kind of service!!
It was a nightmare just to get the right person on a call! You are better off, paying for proper plastic surgery.”

“Well let me start by saying Thank You. Staff, Jenna, and my sweet Nurse's threw post op, pre op and most important Dr Delia. I have had the best experience I could ask for. My results are amazing everything I ever hoped for I had the Abex. Let me just say that I lost 50 lbs few years ago. I was not looking to have a tummy tuck. I new I wanted local medicine. With as little down time. But either way everyone experience will be different. I wanted extra belly fat and skin removed. The rating were awful. That made me cancel 30 times in my head but I said what could be worse than what my tummy looks like now so I just went for it and I am so grateful I did. Dr. Delia and the wonderful nurse's that were with me throw it all I Thank you.

“Bad experience, surgeon never warned me about all the loose skin I would have. It’s very hard to make the revision appointment, I had an appointment I thought it would be revision but it’s just a 5 minute appointment with a nurse and they still have to make a different appointment with the surgeon, which I wanted and they only had for 3 months later. When was the time around they simply send a text saying the appointment had to be canceled because of the surgeons schedule and I had to call them and reschedule. Also prepare to go to the revision appointment knowing there’s a 90% chance you will be denied for revision even if u are not satisfied with the results.
Terrible results, terrible customer service after you pay, the surgeon will call you once after the surgery and then you will never be called again by anyone else. Best customer service you will get is when you have to pay for the surgery, they will go above and beyond to get the money. There’s a lot more of negative experience I could list but this review would never end. Still trying to find anything positive.”

“If I could give Sono Bella a - 0... I would.
At initial consultation via phone they make it sound really good. It's not. First, I took the day off work, drove to Boston and the doctor got my medical history confused AFTER I filled out the form online and even though I called several times to speak about it while they kept me hanging as to whether the procedure could be done. I also spoke with 2 people, after, who had serious complications from Sono Bella. I won't bore you with details so do yourself A BIG favor and look at Board of Health complaints because you won't see them here. You want better and safer results with a fraction of the cost? Look up Tirzepatide !! You lose weight just as fast while eating really healthy ( like you would need to do anyway with any form of weight loss, or you gain it back). Please take my word for it...”

“I feel disappointed and depressed I have used all my life savings on this treatment and to find out that it did not work and that the original surgeon retired is even more depressing. I have lost over $9,000 in the lipo treatment and the supposed Venus enhancement that your office manager told that did not work for me.

“This is an absolute waste of money. You will spend $10,000 to look worse than you did before. They will leave your stomach uneven both from top to bottom and side to side. When you tell them you are unhappy with your results because they are uneven they will not honor the satisfaction guarantee and will not do a revision. They will tell you they will do the revision but are booked up for the rest of the year and keep pushing you out until you are past your 1 year mark for revisions and then you no longer qualify. Save your $10,000 and go somewhere else where they will actually care for their patients and give satisfactory results.”

It made no sense that I am just receiving these credit lines, since I had gone a month and a half ago for a CONSULTATION. The woman Jenny, Jenna or Jennifer, whatever her name was, told me she was going to do a credit check, she NEVER mentioned she was going to open credit lines. Mind you, these credit lines had inactivity fees, and they affected my credit score. “This company seems like a big scam. I am not happy with my experience as of right now. I signed up to have the Venus treatment done (with all services charged to my Care credit card upfront) and was told I had 30 days to decide if I wanted to continue with it. I had one treatment and did not like it so I decided not to go through with the remaining seven treatments. I have tried to contact Brittany for a refund several times via phone and email. I have explained in my emails that I am no longer interested and would like a refund. She will not answer me. I will never go here again.

UPDATE (1/18/2023): As you can see below I was contacted by someone from Sono Bello. I emailed the address they provided and they wrote back that someone would be reaching out to me. I wrote back that I simply wanted a refund. They have not contacted me or refunded me. This place is an absolute SCAM.”

“Initially I went there for a tummy tuck to get the results I wanted. The nurse talked me out of it and said that Trisculpting would be the best option and is less invasive. Before the procedure I meet with dr Delia and he said that I might have some lose skin in my lower belly but not much.
6 months after I asked to meet with the doctor again since I have lose skin above the belly button my belly looks worse than it was before and they suggested Venus Legacy treatment for which I spent another $2000 and no result.I spent $10,000 to make by belly look disgusting.
I saw the dr today and his response was that this is the downfall of these procedure which if I would have known before the procedure I would have never done it. They offered me a Abex to fix it but of course I have to pay another $7,000.
To anyone that is looking to go to Sonobello and have any procedure done please reconsider or make sure you have them give you things in writing since you will end up waisting your money”

“Prior to my procedure, I did lots of research and met with multiple surgeons. I settled on Sono due to their "satisfaction guarantee". Sadly, the experience was not as promised. I went in for SmartLipo on my tummy and flanks with Dr. Delia. While the tummy looked good, I noticed IMMEDIATELY after surgery that the flanks were uneven. I told the doctor at our first follow-up and at multiple post surgical checks. Instead, they sold me an EXPENSIVE body contouring procedure package that was supposed to help ... it did NOTHING.

At the 1 year check, I remained LOPSIDED. Dr. Delia said "it can take up to 2 years for the swelling to resolve". After 2 years, I remain LOPSIDED. I asked him for a revision, as promised by the sales person when I originally signed the contract, and he said "there is nothing I can do".

I have called SEVERAL times over the last year and the manager WILL NOT return my calls, even though the receptionist assures me each time that they will.

BEWARE of the LIES that are told by Dr. Delia and the Sono Bello Boston team. You are told that if you don't like the results, you can get a correction ... 2 years post, I remain LOPSIDED and ABANDONED by this office.”

I signed up for a $2000 service, and changed my mind the next day.
I called Sono Bello six times and they said someone would call me back. This was over a course of several days. Finally, the woman who signed me up got on the phone and screamed at me "No discounts for this service!" and hung up on me. I have brought this to my Bank's attention, as well as filed a claim with the Massachusetts Better Business Bureau.

I'm sick and tired of being belittled and your employees being rude. I simply want my $2000.00 back. Why all this hassle? Please see what you can do.

Incidentally, I think you better check Massachusetts BBB. One star rating and hundreds of complaints.

I regret because I didn’t do enough search before I go to this place unfortunately after we did the operation we found a lot better places with the results and a way more cheaper .

“Honestly I was really nervous about getting liposuction from here because I did all kinds of research on the procedure and saw a few bad reviews. My whole family wanted to go here but I was the only one willing to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. I had Brittany as my consultant who took her time with me and answered all my questions.( also my phone was dying and they helped me out and found a charger for while I was there) I was able to get an appointment fairly soon and got booked for the procedure within the week because I have a pageant coming up. The pre op does take some time for those who are impatient but I wasn’t too concerned. I was so nervous the day procedure but Dr.Broderick was amazing. I was extremely anxious and being awake for the procedure was a terrifying thought and I have a fear of needles, but the dr and the nurse I was with were so comforting. I kept calm by talking with them while they were doing the liposuction and it really helped. I would highly recommend this place. Professional staff and very welcoming. You can expect to have longer wait times but I would rather that than them rushing everyone. I do foresee going back for any of my other areas that I would like to get treated. For reference I got my whole abdomen, love handles, banana roll, and inner thighs done.”

“If I could give a -10 I would. The doctor cancelled my procedure because of my heart rate being too high. I said fine I understand, safety first. They are telling me I can’t get a refund of my $3000 I spent, I need documentation from a PCP stating reasons why I CANT get the procedure done and why it can’t be rescheduled. Oh I don’t know maybe because THE DOCTOR AT SONO BELLO already told me he would not preform the procedure on me because of my high heart rate. These people are literally scammers. All they care about is money. I’m beyond disgusted.

He was rude and rushed me and he actually did a terrible job I think I looked better before. I had lipo on my love handles, bra rolls, lower and upper abdomen. I have a dent in my stomach and it just looks terrible. He treated me differently because I have a mood disorder. Prescribed me oxycodon then called me the next day and told me not to take it. Also told me in the surgery prep that if I have any issues related to my mood to reach out to the people who prescribe my medications. Absolutely no help to me. And I didn’t even get good results out of it. By the way- it’s way over priced. AVOID this place at all costs!”

For someone who has battled a weight problem most of their life, it’s important to feel comfortable disrobing in front of a stranger. The consultant had made a comment on a different visit about me needing laser hair removal and laughed. I found this to be really unprofessional. End of the day, cool sculpting does give results, just find a different location!”

“I sent pictures via phone to consultant. I was told the procedure I wanted was doable. I went in for live consultant, they took $1000 on my credit card. At appointment I was told what I wanted and was expected to get for service was not going to work. I would need 3 other procedures first then they could remove my apron belly. I decided not to do this and felt as if it was a bait and switch situation. I have requested my $1000 back SERVERAL times with not even a response. Free consultation my butt! No such thing. Stay far away people. It's a total scam unless you have some isolated issue with minor procedure needed. My next step is Attorney General and possible law suit to retrieve money that they kept for no reason.
Update...after posting this review I was contacted by Sono Bello asking me to remove this post and I would get a refund. I said I would remove it after I saw the refund. It has been a week now and still no refund or further communication. I sent another email asking why I have received any more correspondence. I am awaiting an answer. My original assessment of these company still stands. I am still very disappointed with the way their business is practiced. Be aware, DO NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PAYMENT IN ADVANCE OF SERVICES!”

“I’ve finally given up on working with this place and filing a lawsuit today for negligence and malpractice. The doctors, staff and nurses are quite literally negligent. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I was botched, then left and forgotten about and never followed up with. I chased and chased and chased them down for follow up care only to be ignored. I had to go to two different emergency hospitals for follow up care only to have their doctors questions if sonobelos doctors were “real doctors”. To add insult to (literal) injury, I paid over $10,000 for board certified surgeons and nurses to treat me like I got black market surgery in a developing country. I want to make this clear, my injuries were not because of normal risk that can happen during any surgical procedure, this is 100% the doctors fault by not waiting enough time for medication to take effect, the nurses and staff rushing and forgetting to give me medication, not believing me when I said I was in pain and injuring me during the procedure. When I called the staff to tell them that the bruising was not normal, the nurse didn’t pass on the information or pictures to the doctor and told me “i looked like she did when she had her procedure and it was fine” I was forced to get all of my aftercare and all diagnostics at Brigham and women’s in Boston. I wasn’t even offered an MRI OR ANY BLOODWORK OR ANY DIAGNOSTICS FOR WEEKS! I suffered in so much pain for so long and was told by Dr. Delia to just come back and keep getting sliced open by him over and over again. I refused to let him touch me again. The worst part, the results are terrible. I suffered for no reason, sure my overhang is “gone” but the upper half of my belly is still VERY much there. I went from looking like I had three kids to looking like Im 7 months pregnant or have a drinking problem. If you value your body and your life, do not go here. I’m reaching out to a lawyer today.”

“I've seen many complaints of the same. Everyone was nice, but after the procedure months have gone by and no difference, I went back several times, they said they would do the procedure at no cost , when I made the appoint I was told it won't make much difference to do again. But the dr who did the procedure I guess has her own private practice, she advised to make an appointment, not knowing what to expect, I made the appointment and exam and was quoted 14 to 15,000 I think for removal surgery, I feel like they do this on purpose to get you to the private practices, I work in a dealership and that's like me saying your car is not fixable, but ill buy it for nothing basically. I feel like I don't know the business or what to have expected, but 12,000 dollars later and im stuck with the bill, and never once had an excited feeling of looking better. Do not waste your time or money on this company. Bait and switch. Just to make more money, im still paying a loan with very very high interest. I've contacted the better business bureau and they never responded, I asked if they were willing to split. I'm seeking legal actions now.”

“Very upset with the mistrust. I went in for a consult, I told the sales person that I didn’t want to know how much I weighed... she put my BMI at 36. That would make me 220-240 for my height. It seemed so wrong, I weighed myself and I am 176. I went online and saw the pricing is dependent on your BMI. Over 35 is the second tier of pricing. She took advantage of me, to charge me extra.

This is so upsetting and damaging to a woman.

FOLLOW UP- was told the scale could be broken... so yeah, heads up guys .. the scale may add 50 pounds to charge you more”

“I don’t see any results. I look exactly like how I walked in 5 months ago even worse. I went for my 3rd month appointment and the doctor wasn’t helpful at all ‘ the guy is so proud he didn’t make me feel any better. After he realized that there wasn’t any results he told me how he had a hard time doing my lipo. I’m paying $12000 for no work done . It’s more painful than the pain I went through . Imagine all that pain with no any small results, now I’m left with a debt . Sono bello Woburn is scam please don’t waist your money .

“I am past 40 (a lady never tells her true age), but thanks to great genes I look younger than my chronological age and I also have a very outgoing personality. Both my physical appearance and personality give people the impression that I am younger. I’m 5’0 feet tall and I’ve always been slender, however in the last 9 months I began taking a medication which side effect was weight gain. While on this medication, I gained approximately 28 pounds. I went from being 105lbs to 130lbs, which is a lot of weight to carry on a small frame like mine. Most of the weight gained was in my belly, which made me look as if pregnant, this made me feel horrible. I asked my doctor to change the mediation which she did, and I tried to lose the weight through healthy eating, but to no avail. One day, my 19-year-old gorgeous slender/athletic daughter came to me to ask me if she could have LipoLaser, and right away I screamed “NO”. She had gained 5lbs while attending NYU in NYC, and was frantic about it. The problem was that she has stopped exercising when the university curriculum was moved to online and all gyms were closed due to the pandemic. She was adamant about it, so I said to her “yes, but under the following conditions. For the next 3 months you are going to exercise regularly and eat healthy. If after the 3 months you still feel the same, then you can go ahead and do it.”
To my surprise, she did it! The great thing is that she was so happy with the way she looked that she desisted on the idea of having the LipoLaser, and seeing how depressed I have been about my weight gained she suggested that I do it.
I’ve heard about Sonobello for a few years on the radio on my way to work. I always thought that it was like the Fast Food version of a high-quality plastic surgery clinic. A place solely interested in taking your money and not on the quality of the work they perform. I told this to my daughter, but she suggested to give it a chance by scheduling a consultation and if I didn’t like it, then go somewhere else. I scheduled the consultation and began to search and read the reviews of prior clients which were mainly all positive. The consultation was over the phone, and I spoke to a woman named Lisa which explained the entire process and what I should expect the results to be. She also answered all of my questions and it wasn’t until the end that we discussed the cost. I was so surprised at the lack of pressure I felt from the Sonobello consultant and the care she showed when addressing all of my concerns. After the consultation I took some time to think about it, and decided to do it. I called back and there were just as nice as before. When I went to the pre-op and met with Dr. Delia, I felt even better. Besides having excellent bed-side manners, he is also a great plastic surgeon, and trust me on this because I read all of his reviews. The procedure felt easier than going to the dentist for a cleaning. The recovery time was so quick for me that all my family and friends were amazed. It has only been 2 weeks since I had the procedure, and I feel totally back to normal. I am still a bit swollen, but I can already see significant decrease in my belly. Today, I had a post-op appointment with Liliana Mercado and she was absolutely wonderful. She answered all my questions, addressed all of my concerns in a kind, respectfully professional, and caring way. I feel so grateful to all of the staff at Sonobello who took part on my procedure. They were wonderful! They are all excellent at each of their roles and truly caring. This has been a great and positive experience for me far beyond my expectations.
