“Had upper, lower abs and waist done 3 weeks ago. Somehow the anaesthesia did not work when Dr Vega did my waist, the pain was so bad I was in tears. All she said was I need to stop moving because thats dangerous. How do you not stop squirming when you are in such pain? This surgery has me traumatized and I call it false advertising when they say it is painfree. Aftercare is a joke too, I am very disappointed to have paid so much money for subpar treatment in general.”

Dr.Hill was amazing he listened to what I wanted and he saw that it was feasible so he went to work. I felt no pain during surgery, I was talking to him at the beginning and before you know it I end up falling asleep by the time I woke he was done. He have me looking very snatched, he really payed attention to details and lipo all the unwanted fat out, also my Abex incision looks amazing. Once I got home I never had drastic pain and my drainage stopped before 24hrs. So far I am in love with my results I can’t wait for the swelling to go all the way down to see my full results (6 months). Thanks Dr. Hill for my transformation! ”

“Dr. Lofin was two hours late for my preop visit and a hour late for my procedure. Definitely felt she rushed my surgery. 3 months postop visit the RN kept telling me don’t worry you will get a revision. Upper and lower abs have so much visible fat. So much money I feel like I wasted. Stomach looks the same. I’m very unsatisfied and have regrets. I wish I did not let the scheduler pressure me with having the procedure done by Dr. Lofin because I came to Sonobello for Dr. Vega. I just want what I paid for. Hopefully my revision appointment with Dr. Vega goes well. I know Dr. Vega will get me right especially after spending 14k. ”

“Dr. Theit was my surgeon through Sonobello at the Charlotte, NC location in early 2022. I complained to the NC Medical Board about her. She prescribed 2 antibiotics to me and even cited I could be an increased infection risk due to having body acne. She then took 1 of those antibiotic prescriptions without replacing it with anything on surgery day. I healed poorly. I slowly developed an infection over the course of like a month. My right hip is deformed. She was also mean to me both at pre-op and during the awake surgery. The type of awake surgery she performed on me was laser lipo with a local anesthetic. So many issues with my experience it is difficult to list them all while keeping people's attention. At pre-op she cited my higher infection risk yet cleared me for the surgery then took a powerful take home antibiotic prescription the following day on surgery day without replacing it with anything. She wasn't particularly gracious. I'm 5'2". All I said to her is I wanted to get the procedure done to accentuate my petite stature and motivate myself to lose weight. She went at length to combat me that I am not petite. She had me to hold my wrist up to hers in comparison that hers is smaller and her a thin woman with a normal bmi while I am currently 200 lbs. She says I am not petite because of that, trying to claim my bone structure is thick or something. Um no. You can't really judge bone thickness by looking at an obese person's wrist. That is more of an indicator of weight when the BMI isn't normal. Now if 2 people have the same normal BMI & one has a thicker wrist & taller then yes you can say that person is bigger boned. The following day I figured she'd still do a good job even if I struck some sort of a nerve in her by calling myself petite. The surgery was traumatic, painful. I could feel being stabbed by the lipo cannula after she used up all the local numbing medication she could give then she tried to finish the surgery with me awake. I notified her but I did manage to grunt through it & lay still so that she could finish. I asked to see after she was finished. She and the nurses just ignored me & wrapped me up. My right hip didn't feel right from the get go. There was a strange sensation in it comparison to the normal shaped left hip. 7 months later, I am left with multiple curves in that right hip which should be shaped normally like a parentheses. It resembles a banana peel instead. You'd expect transparency in a situation like that. Dr. Theit didn't even inform me that we will need to stop since we can't give anymore local numbing medication & reassure me that a revision is in the future or try to explain anything. I paid her company $8,500 to get deformed. She should have been a better judge than this. There are definitely mor limits with awake surgery due to a local anesthetic being used. If she had used her experience to better judge how the local numbing medication had to be stretched considering the large area I paid for & atleast had left me with something symmetrical while being transparent about my situation, a revision with her would have been appropriate. Instead, there was no transparency from her. My spine feels crooked when I try to stand up straight due to the volume & shape difference between each hip pulling at my spine. I imagine this could cause long term damage to my spine if I don't get help soon. It may already be too late. I am still fighting Sonobello for a refund atleast so I can use it to go elsewhere and try to get this deformity fixed right under general anesthesia. Atleast I was smooth & anatomically correct with a normal functioning spine before. This banana shaped hip I've lived with for the past 7 months of my life is mortifying. All I can comfortably do basically is lay around because if I stand too long, the uneven tug of the 2 hips hurts my spine. I would not give Dr. Theit a good review or do anything except warn others not to use her for their surgery after all this. Sonobello could refund today but I am still looking at another year to fix this.

“I initially left a 1 star without comment.
This is a response to Sonobello's comment. It is a false statement that Sonobello reached out to me with any resolve. I reached out to the complaints email that is advertised as being their corporate office when leaving this review. They have responded that my complaints will be tranferred over to management. I specifically had a complaint toward management for not responding to me. Prior to that, I tried to reschedule my appointment in part because my questions weren't being answered before making the 3 hour drive there. It was scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving and I called to reschedule but nobody would answer the phone. If the local offices do not answer, you get transferred over to their general answering service. The answering service couldn't even get through to this location on multiple occassions. This local office does have a text system which they clearly do not respond to. I have messaged it multiple times with no written response given. I do not think after my experience that I should be expected to simply trust this company. I wished to speak about the what ifs as I do not wish to have my time wasted driving out to Charlotte(again, a 3 hour drive for me). I wanted to be reassured a resolution would be met & inquire about if I can be refunded due to the hopefully very rare circumstances of my experience but there has been no responses. I have called. No response. The answering service has called & claimed they left notes for this local office to call me back. No returned calls. You are people at work. I know none of it is personal enough to you to keep up with each communication properly when there are many of you who could have responded to 1 patient but it is all personal when a patient has a bad experience. Please do not make false statements about our communications, whether it is simply being misinformed or not. There is a text system. That is convenient to use & you are guaranteed to not play phone tag if you just text or email. Yet you have chosen not to opt for written communications. Multiple messagesof mine are unresponded to. If text is too informal, email is fine. Just do not ignore me, leave 1 passive aggressive voicemail making fun of me for sending multiple messages to your "little text system", then falsely claim on your public reviews that you have been responding to me & the problem is I haven't answered the phone. Because I can post screenshots of them texts & show they are 1 sided. Or perhaps I just need to go public with my deformed body & show everyone what happened to me. You are advertising a 1 visit & done surgery experience here. Nobody should be getting botched & getting their whole life destroyed for 6 months before being offered another horriffic surgery experience & no refund in sight to help compensate for any of that trouble. Your doctors have responsibilities to leave people even so it is a choice to request that revision or not. I can not even stand straight without pulling to one side due to the unevenness. I've been showing this injury to lawyers trying to seek help before something permenant happens to my spine. You should not be doing awake surgeries on such vast areas on the body. Not only did my local become ineffective then no more could be given while finishing my initial surgery, deterring me from wanting another awake surgery experience, but awake surgeries are all that you offer in the event of a revision being needed. It isn't a choice at all to settle with what I have. My initial surgeon informed me that revisions in which the entire area has to be gone over are usually harder on the patient because the local numbing meds do not spread well in scar tissue! Sonobello has put me in a barbaric situation. The only solution you have is for me to lay there & try to be still as I am stabbed for atleast 10-15 minutes while my body is fixed?”

“At 7 weeks post op I’m very disappointed. I will be sharing pictures. I went to the Charlotte NC location. My procedure was $9,200, and without wearing my faja I look exactly the same. I did not get the max amount that the state allows up to removed which is ridiculous to me because for the amount of money being Charged you would hope that each surgeon would remove the max amount. I was under the impression at my initial consultation before paying my money that if I was not pleased with the work I would be given 1 free revision, I have now learned that’s not true, it’s only if the surgeon approves. My work was done by Dr Vega. My procedure day weight was 192. Today I’m 192. I wish I would have went with the traditional tummy tuck instead of choosing Sonobello. I over heard another patient asking about her one free Venus treatment and learned that is suppose to ne offered as well and I was never even told anything about it, I have yet to get a free Venus treatment they keep telling me that they are trying to find someone to do them for their office. I didn’t receive pictures of the fat/volume that was removed and when I asked after seeing other patients post theirs I was told I only had notes and no pictures. I pray I’m approved for a revision because if not I will be disputing the services if nothing has changed by my 6 month check up. I will update my review.”

“For some reason I’m not able to edit my previous review so I am making a new one. I want to provide an update on my experience.

I’d like to start off by saying at my 3 month appointment, the nurse agreed that I needed a revision on my sides. She went as far as saying “usually if I tell her (the doctor) that a patient needs revision she usually does it”. So I was confident that in my 6 month appointment, that I’d be able to get a revision since that’s how long you have to wait.

My upper stomach still has a lot of fat. There is also still a lot of fat on my sides. I expressed during the 6 month visit and all they did was bring in my pictures from my first appointment and compared it to my 6 month pictures. They tried to make it seem like the pictures showed a significant difference and that there was nothing further that could be done.

I didn’t even get my back fat done and asked if I can add that on and PAY for it and they still said no 🤔

To be clear I work out regularly, 3-4 times a week and I also meal prep. So it has nothing to do with what I am doing at home……

There should be no reason why a person pays $8000 dollars for a surgery to only still be having the same issues they were having prior to the surgery.

I only came here because I live in this area, I would of spent less going to Miami. I just didn’t want to have to travel or have to fly back and fourth for check ins.

I would just go somewhere else honestly.”

“About a year ago I filled out the online form for more info and to schedule the free consultation. I had to end up canceling my initial appointment due to my whole family getting covid and other issues. They have been constantly texting and sending emails for the past 6-9 months asking me to reschedule so I called to reschedule. The day of my appointment there was an accident on my way to Charlotte- I live an hour away- and I called the office to tell them that I was not going to make it on time and to see if they wanted me to reschedule or still try to show up. They advised me to reschedule so I did. The next date I had my consultation scheduled for I got confused with a different appointment and went to the wrong place. I do suffer from memory loss from being in the military so I do tend to get things mixed up sometimes. They kept emailing and texting for me to reschedule the appointment. I replied to the email to get it rescheduled and the lady was so rude and told me that I had over 3 no show/no call missed appointments and that they would no longer see me. There is no appointment policy listed anywhere on their website and when I asked the lady where I could find the information regarding this she completely ignored my request. She then said she would send a request to the Charlotte office and went through the process of asking me all of the questions again and then tells me at the end that she cannot schedule the appointment. There's no way she could have asked anyone at the Charlotte location if they could see me because the Charlotte location was not even open at the time. I don't understand why they still email or text me to reschedule when they have this supposed policy in place that she could not show me where I could find information on. They must not care about making money when they treat potential customers like this. I have had a much better experience with Elite Body Sculpting so far. I have tried to speak with management for Sono Bello but of course have heard nothing.”

“I'd give it a 0 if I could - Dr. Alter is the most condescending, rude, egotistical doctor I've ever come across. The rest of the facility and staff seem great but this doctor ruined the entire experience and if a doctor like him is allowed to work there I cannot recommend them. Everyone else was nice and professional but I've never left an appointment feeling more attacked and demeaned and disrespected. First he didn't introduce himself when he entered the room and became huffy and acted impatient upon reviewing my chart. He was snappy when asking questions and none of my responses seemed sufficient to him. That's definitely not going to put anyone at ease. Then he has the gall to say that I'm seeming very anxious and fidgety. Well of course I am. I'm tired after very little sleep because I was super excited about my pre-op, had a good bit of caffeine in my system so I was awake to make the almost 2 hour drive to see this doctor, I'm sitting there half naked in skippy underwear the office provided and hospital gown, and I'm feeling attacked because I have to take medications for sleep, anxiety, and ADHD. Yes, there's a good chance I might be a tad nervous and - god forbid - fidgety. So when I try to call him out for his antagonist - and rather abrasive - attitude towards me he yells "I'm ABRASIVE?!" Yes doc, I spoke clearly. Then you accuse me of calling him abrasive because he doesn't think I can tolerate the procedure. Not even close. I am thankful that a doctor tells me that they don't think I can tolerate an awake procedure. I appreciate that. I don't appreciate being made to feel like something is wrong with me and attacked. There's no reason to be a jerk. I have never been made to feel so low about myself in my adult life.
This man does not need to treat patients and for the sake of the practice, Sono Bello needs to get rid of him. Unfortunately I know nothing will come of it and his ego will continue to be stroked.
Go somewhere else or at least make sure that you do not have Dr. Alter.”

“Today I went in for my pre-op and meet with the doctor for the first time. The appointment started out horrible. It was not the doctor or nursing staff fault. I was told the incorrect information at my first appointment to the point now I would have to spend MORE money on top of full balance I already paid to get the SAME results I was already promised. And on top of that some of my paperwork was missing that I already signed was missing. Everything seemed so unorganized. And to be honest I started having second thoughts about the entire thing. A nurse came in my pre-op room (I wish I could remember her name) and took the time to sit down and talk really talk to me. She was so understanding and caring. She listened to all my concerns and talked me through my options and gave me her thoughts. She really helped me. She walked around the entire office to get me the answers I needed to make my decision. She even stayed well after it was time for her to leave to make sure I was taken care of. “** PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING **

I’ve never felt so dissatisfied & disregarded in my life as a customer.

Initially, I was EXTREMELY excited to have work done at Sono Bello. I did my research. I watched as many YouTube videos as I possibly could. I knew this is what I wanted to do.

I booked a consultation, and looking back, this was the ONLY time I received any type of adequate attention. I’m not surprised considering this is step 1 of them getting you to financially commit.

Elizabeth conducted the consultation. She was kind and informative. She understood my eagerness to move forward with the process, so she was transparent with the information she provided. I was told the Charlotte office was booked out for several months; however, the Raleigh location had an opening at the end of the week I was there for my consult. I was told that all my post op care would be handled at the Charlotte location considering that is where I live. I moved forward with the surgery date.

My post op experience with the Charlotte office has been THE WORST EXPERIENCE. If you are satisfied with your results, you’re good to go. If you ARE NOT SATISFIED with the results, they will treat you like you no longer exist. At my 3 month appt, THE NURSE told me there was no need to schedule a 6 month follow up because I needed to speak with a surgeon. I was told there was not enough fat taken out from the first procedure. Based on SONO BELLO’s POLICY, if you aren’t satisfied with your results and you don’t weigh more than you did the day of your surgery, they will go back in and take out more fat. I was told I would see DR VEGA because she was the best Dr at this location. I was excited. 2 nights before my scheduled appointment, I receive text message from the front desk stating that they moved my appointment with a different surgeon (Dr Loflin) …. THE NIGHT BEFORE THEY CANCELED THE APPT & told me someone would contact me to reschedule. A week went by and I didn’t hear a word. I took it upon myself to call them on my own. They gave me the runaround. Plenty of excuses as to why they couldn’t schedule me. I spoke with the practice manager. She has absolutely no sense of customer service. Rude is an understatement. I had to contact the corporate office to get an appointment scheduled. When I was finally able to talk to the surgeon ( Dr Loflin ) she told me there was small work that could be fixed. I expressed to her I wanted to have AB Ex performed. She told me I would need to speak with Elizabeth before I could get anything scheduled and she would have her contact me that evening. Of course I didn’t hear anything. I’ve attached a screen shot of text messages between the front desk and myself the next day when I had to follow up … AGAIN. When I asked if I could get the surgery booked without speaking to Elizabeth, of course …. crickets. “I came with my mother to some of her appointments and the front desk was awesome but when she talked to Elizabeth, then she seemed so rude! She today my mother in black teens that she would get rid of her IBS for sure instead of stating that every prison was different and she wasn’t 100% sure. My mother came for one surgery and the doctor was awesome then almost a year later the same doctor was not willing to perform the second part of her surgery because of risk factors! Then she was told that she would get her money back that she paid and be compensated on her time and such for at least another $500. But they seemed to have not kept their word on that part because she only received the money that she paid. She’s even called up there several times and seems to get the run around stating that either you’ll get a check in 10-14 days. Then when she calls again about not receiving the check, they say they will take a message and the person will contact them back within 24-48 hours. But the thing is they never call back nor contact my mother! The thing is never tell someone something and not keep your word to your client! That is so unprofessional in my opinion and isn’t good for anyone’s business! I just don’t appreciate my mother being lied to or even the rudeness that she has received from some of the staff!”

“My procedure was yesterday. My drive was almost 3 hours. My arrival time was 6 am but they were running behind about 40 minutes which increased my nerves. However once I was called, my nurse Nancy was absolutely amazing. I was given antibiotics in my IV along with the cocktail. My surgeon Dr. Thiet was amazing. By the time the cocktail kicked in, I was feeling great. I felt a couple pinches while being numbed but nothing unbearable. It felt like a regular needle prick. I actually fell asleep during. When she got to my waist, she also did my back bra rolls, that was the only part that I felt. She stopped, numbed me again and gave me another pill by mouth. I remember her asking me to "suck it in" to ensure she got ALL the fat off my upper abs. I didn't feel a thing when she started Abex cause I was asleep again. I don't remember my nurse dressing me again. I slept the entire ride home. Pain has been around a 2 all day. I was able to change my pads cause I was leaking leaking. Overall it was a great experience and my stomach, sides and back are SNATCHED! So far I'm loving my results. No real swelling either. I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow but today was GREAT. I had U/L abs, waist, BBR and Abex. I can truly say Dr Thiet at the Charlotte location was amazing. I was equally impressed that she called me around 9 pm and said "you were in pain during the procedure so I called you in more pain meds".. let's see what the next few weeks bring but so far, I'm loving it!”

“I had Trisculpt EX done on my upper & lower abs and waist on 10/18/21. My results are no where close what I was led to believe. First of all at the consultation, I was told I was a great candidate. Had good skin elasticity and did not need a tummy tuck (as I was told by a different plastic surgeon). I was given a price for upper and lower abs that day and told if I paid it all within 2 weeks and didn't finance it, I would get a 1k discount. I paid over $10k up front. Went for my pre-op visit with the doctor to confirm that you are a viable candidate. After this appointment if you cancel your surgery you forfeit all your $. She told me that I has some visceral fat on the upper abdomen that she would not be able to suction but I would still have great results & flat mid & lower abs. I added the waist and paid for it that day. Surgery was painful at times but went okay (after being postponed at the last minute for a month). Follow ups: 1 week/1 month/3 months & 6 months. I started addressing my concerns of not seeing results/hard lumpy masses in stomach & sores in my EX scar at 2.5 months via numerous phone calls & texts (I have a record). Was told every conversation/visit that I was swollen and would see results by next visit. Told to continue wearing binder (smaller size finally given at 3 mo. visit). I have not saw noticeable results since the 1 week visit except in my waist. Final follow up was this Monday. Never saw the doctor after surgery only nurses. Expressed how unhappy I was and feel like I was very misled & spent over $13k for nothing. Still just as big if not bigger than when I went in with abnormal knots up & down my abdomen. Customer Satisfaction Commitment means nothing to them, they didn't offer to make it right just said they would have someone reach out to me. Have not heard anything since then. They are all about the $ and once they have it the customer is SOL. If you're thinking about liposuction, run as fast as you can, far away from Sono Bello.”

“My experience here has been horrible! They answered every question I had, until I paid my deposit...then crickets and no response to any other questions. I had to wait over an hour day of my surgery because another patient was late (extremely unprofessional and unacceptable)...and I was next to the room and could hear all the suction which totally stressed me out to the point I almost walked out that day! I had my inner thighs done and they are not even AT ALL and look worse than before:( I have stated that I am unhappy with the outcome at EVERY post-op apt I have been to and I can NOT get any management to acknowledge or respond to me...even though they "guarantee statistician" for one year, they LIE! I am extremely unpleased with the lack of attention to their customers and would highly recommend you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!”

“Everything went smooth from booking to procedure day. Satisfied with my results (meaning I don’t feel as though my money was wasted at all) so far. It’s week two I do notice a bit of unevenness on my sides, which I hope to have fixed if it’s not even by my 6 month check up. But, other than that Dr Vega did an amazing job and I’m glad I picked her. She was funny. She made me feel very comfortable and cared for. Most importantly she really targeted my front (Fupa) which so far seems to be completely flat! Elisabeth was a great communicator. The nurse who got me ready for surgery was a gem (I wish I could remember her name). The lady that did my 1 week check up was not as friendly as Elisabeth, my nurse and Dr Vega and was in a rush. I still haven’t received my second garment as promised so waiting on that, which is the reason for 4/5 stars. Charlotte office was close by and clean pre and post care instructions & medication was provided and effective. I’ll edit this review if I can after my 3 month appointment.”

“Update: SURGERY was on the 17th and the process was smooth. I was nervous but the staff made me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately my results are not what I wanted overall. I feel like I paid for a service for my back area that wasn’t achieved and I could remove more fat in the front. My waste line is nice. I see a difference but not 6k worth overall. I did express my concerns in my follow up (that I am not satisfied because they do offer to fix your concern) but I was not able to see the doctor just yet. I usually blog my process but I believe my 2nd session will be better to do so. I was given a 3month follow up and I’ll keep you guys posted on the next step. I do believe the center is amazing but I would recommend small areas and not hope for a dramatic change

“Buyers beware. Office is poorly run. Have to sit and wait 45 minutes each time in lobby for Appointments. They will fix issues from prior surgery for free within a year f you are not happy but stall you and you can't get in with a doctor to discuss for 3.5 months. Keep saying they are short staffed but continue to schedule new surgeries. Also beware they try to sell you more than you need. I suggest a different location to be treated better.”

I stress important facts throughout so that they know the most pertinent details. Well apparently my consultant mentioned that there is a 2000$ non refundable fee. I remember her distinctly saying that if I change my mind and want a refund Id have to do it before the surgery. She gave a time frame of a few weeks.( don’t remember the exact time frame- just know a time frame was mentioned). And she never expressly said that the 2000$ fee was non refundable! I would’ve stressed that point more than once with one of my patients. It all seems very slight of hand. After doing more research I realized that 7000$ is not worth the results you will get from 1 surgery. And the pictures they show you where there’s a drastic change? Those are usually patients who have had to do the procedure a number of times. And I’m not shelling out 7k more than once. Regular lipo seems to be the better choice if you want proven results from one procedure.”

“This place does not even deserve 1 star. I made an apt 3 weeks out. Drove 40 mins to Sono Bello, today, I arrived 20 mins early, as was asked of me. I come in and the receptionist was on the phone. She did not acknowledge me. I stood at the desk, waiting my turn in an empty lobby while she stayed on the phone. 5 mins later, the receptionist asked another lady to check me in. I informed her I had an apt at 945. She didnt speak. She just set down and started typing. Didnt ask me my name or greet me, nothing! Still waiting. Still not a peep. 3 mins later she said her computer is slow. I replied "no worries." Still standing there patiently, receptionist still chatting on the phone. The other lady typing away at the computer. I'm getting impatient. I feel like I'm not a priority. Starting to get to me. I looked up a few mins later asking if I'm suppose to do paperwork, my apt is in 2 mins and I been here for 18 mins now! The lady looked dumbfounded as if she had NO CLUE what was going on. So I just picked up my belongings and left. I am self paying customer, nevertheless, I was treated POORLY by the front desk and I dont feel like my business is appreciated. I'm highly disappointed. From beginning to now, ( just had my procedure yesterday, 4-30-21) I had my initial consultation with Sarah, she was very kind and knowledgeable. (Dr. Crawford) we're very open and clear to me about what to experience before, during, and after my procedure. My nurse during my procedure(Tameka, I think) was sooo WONDERFUL!! She talked me through it all and was very attentive. I can't say enough about Dr. Crawford! I told him he was the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time lol) I felt no pain at all. I winced one time and he "fussed" at me for not telling him and gave me more numbing meds. He and Tameka talked with me during the procedure to keep my mind off things and help me relax. I know it has only been a day, but I can already see results! For 32 years I've lived with a horrendous scar from an appendectomy I had at 6 years old. At the time the doctors did not believe I would survive, the scar I've carried was a reflection of that belief.
I went in to pre-op, after paying for the procedure, thinking the chances were good they would tell me they couldn't help and I would be refunded.
But Dr Pratt was CONFIDENT he could help me! And he did! He and his staff worked hours beyond what we originally thought. They stuck it out and did not waiver from their goal! (And mine!)

“Not pleased with my results, the surgeon that did my surgery no longer works there and another surgeon told me that if he tried to do anything else to me that he would probably make it look worst.Each time I came here i asked to see the surgeon but they always just took the pictures and sent me back home and told me that the appearance would improve by the 6th month. After my 6th month I told them I still wasn’t pleased they said ok and took pictures and schedule me an appointment for the next week i live 1 hour away I drove all the way back just for them to tell me there isn’t much he can do to improve the appearance. I had very high expectations I referred my wife also and I didn’t receive any type of referral incentive. so basically I’m paying this place 20k. I honestly don’t feel like this is a 20k experience. “My experience with this center has by far been the worst thing I have ever encountered with a medical office setting. I have experienced everything from flat out lies, to HIPPA violations. This center just wants your money and could less about your results. After getting paid, they don't even want to deal with you. My stomach is uneven, and have not decreased much in size. “3 days Post Op: Dr.Vega was wonderful, and so was her nurse Alana(?) she was super sweet and made me feel very comfortable. Alana kept me calm and supported me while getting all numbed up. The only issue I had was that the front desk was apparently rude to my husband because we had small children. I had spoke with my nurse and she said we would be able to go down to the car after the procedure instead of him coming up to the office because of my children. “4th Review: On December 18, 2020 I received a call from the consumer relations department from Sono bello asking me to take down one of the reviews. They offered me $1000 then declined when they found another review posted four months ago I could not retrack or edit.

3rd Review: I went back to have lipo suction correction done in September 2020. The problem areas were not all addressed around the belly. The right side of the belly is uneven it looks like I have a small tumor. The fat bump is noticeable. What I want people to know is that the professionals performing the procedures are not experts in sculpting when removing the fat in the problem areas.

2nd Review: I had Lipo and skin removal in August 2019. The results were not great. I went back in February 2020 for more Lipo. The results are still unsatisfactory. My abdominal area is uneven. I was scheduled for additional treatments that were cancelled until they decide to reschedule for December 2020. I was offered an embarrassing amount of $270 for 3 sessions as a refund to go correct my problem elsewhere. I had spent over $10,000 for this procedure and would like to have my body look normal not botched. The work was sloppy and careless. They are performing new procedures but don't have room for old clients on there schedule.

1st Review: I am extremely disappointed with my results. I had laser lipo with skin removal in August of 2019. In February of 2020 I had a second laser lipo to fix the results from the first laser lipo I had an uneven stomach. My stomach is not even I have flat and fullness in different areas of my stomach. I was schedule to come back in July to follow up on treatments to fix the uneven areas but then their office manager resigned and all of my sessions were cancelled until December 2020. The office is still open and they continue to have surgical procedures. This is very disappointing. I am botched..... I have a long surgical incision that is uneven.”

“I had my surgery on 22 July, 2020. Everything went well. A week later I went for my appt and get sized for my second stage garment. When I received my garment it was the wrong size. I immediately informed them and went in to get resized. This was in early August. It is now 9 Oct, 2020 and I just received my 2nd second stage garment and they still ordered the wrong size. They charge an extra $1000 for "diamond after care and garments" yet I have not received anything comparable to diamonds. I know for a fact after get resized I was told an XL garment would be ordered, but I have just received a LG garment. The aftercare services of Sonobello Charlotte office have been piss-poor. I thought because of the name they would give great service , but I was sadly mistaken. Before choosing them I suggest you do your research. I was scheduled for additional treatments that were cancelled until they decide to reschedule for December 2020. I was offered an embarrassing amount of $270 for 3 sessions as a refund to go correct my problem elsewhere. I had spent over $10,000 for this procedure and would like to have my body look normal not botched. The work was sloppy and careless. I was told during the initial consultation that if I wasn’t happy with my results I would be able to come back into the office and have the doctor fix any issues. At my post op consultation the doctor examined me and said he liked my results, he was able to remove some of the fat from my back and on my stomach he said were muscles, which is not the case. My stomach is not flat it still has fat everywhere. He stated he was happy with the results and would not give me a second round of Lipo. This is very disappointing. The main selling point during the consult was that if I wasn’t happy with the results, Sonobello would allow me to come back again to fix the problem. This is very upsetting because this procedure cost me over $7000. and I’m still having to make payments.”

The only stipulation I was told, was that I could not gain weight. I went back and was told by the doctor that HE was happy with the results. I told him I wasn’t and wanted more fat removed from my stomach and was told no. I was deceived into signing the contract. They reneged on what they said was the benefit of having my procedure done at Sonobello. There have been numerous things that I’ve let go because I believed the most important thing they said, and that was if I wasn’t happy, they would do a second round. Even when I called into the office I was told the same, “people come back all the time, it’s not a problem”. I said great. Now when I went to see the doctor, the doctors says he’s happy with his results. That’s unacceptable.”

“I am extremely disappointed with my results. I had laser lipo with skin removal in August of 2019. In February of 2020 I had a second laser lipo to fix the results from the first laser lipo I had an uneven stomach. My stomach is not even I have flat and fullness in different areas of my stomach. I was schedule to come back in July to follow up on treatments to fix the uneven areas but then their office manager resigned and all of my sessions were cancelled until December 2020. “Dr. McMullin is top notch!! This was my first experience with any kind of cosmetic procedure and I was very scared. Dr. McMullin personable and honest and most importantly did an amazing job. I am two weeks post op and I could not be happier with my results. My expectations have been exceeded by far. The transformation is nothing short of incredible. The procedure was not painless as Dr. McMullin had warned me ahead of time, but I slept through most of it and the painful spots last a few seconds only before I drifted back off to sleep. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I feel that the post op care could be a little better. I would advise anyone having work done here to do a lot of their own research into after care and don't expect a lot of advice or instruction from the staff. The compression garment I was fitted for stage 2 was a size larger than my initial garment and had a looser fit which caused me to have increased pain and swelling. After several phone calls, I have not been able to get the garment included in the cost of my procedure replaced with a more appropriate size. I ended up having to purchase a garment on Amazon so I had a dramatic reduction in both pain and swelling once I switch to a size smaller garment. Outside of that I highly recommend this location. I am so happy with my decision to have the Trisculpt procedure at Sono Bello. Worth every penny!!”

“Elisabeth said she was a straight shooter and boy was she ever a straight shooter. We talked about my goals and we agreed that my biggest problem is with visceral fat in my stomach area. In the end, her recommendation was to attack this with diet and exercise. Sonobello’s procedures are better suited for fat that can be grabbed and squeezed. In my case, that means love handles and lower back fat but, attacking those areas would be more of a fine tuning step. We discussed the procedure in depth and in a language that I could understand, even though I chose not to move forward with it. When you go through this type of consultative visit, the best you can hope for is to have all of the facts presented to you in an honest way and Elisabeth definitely did this. If you’re on the fence and need a consultative visit, trust Elisabeth with your questions.”
