“From the time I stepped in for a consultation, and that was about all I wanted to do was a consultation because I wasn't sure about how this would all go. But I was so confident and how the staff treated me as I approached them, my consultation was about an hour and a half then my abex and lipo was scheduled the next day everything from then on ran smoothly. My clinical nurse that was with the doctor she made everything run smooth and it's really helped with my nerves. Then on my one week follow-up visit Maggie the nurse was absolutely phenomenal, she was so sufficient with telling me everything she explained everything before doing anything in the visit. I couldn't ask for a better team they were absolutely great especially as scared and nervous as I was at my age and not really thinking was it even going to be worth me doing it at my age, but I think it probably was the best decision I've made.”

They made the appoinment KNOWING that Sono Bello does NOT work on the arms area, i didnt know that until i went to my appt where the nurse precedes to tell me ALL the other work that i NEED done, poking at my belly and legs! “I would not recommend Sono Bello to anyone. A close family member had a fat removal procedure done here. The "amazing, instant results" that were promised never occurred and the doctor informed him after the procedure that actually the procedure could not have made much of a difference. The procedure was also quite painful and no anesthetic was provided, along with no post-wound care instructions for the following hours or days when he returned home. This procedure only "works" for those who make the appropriate dietary and lifestyle/exercise changes to actually lose weight. Do not be tricked by Sono Bello's promising ads and reviews.”

“I was nervous about the liposuction procedure at first but Dr Rack and his team took their time and explained everything to me. Maggie was my post op nurse, she was wonderful . She helped me through the most. Dr. Femovich was very direct which I really like.
His nurses Kelly, Connie, Ashley, and Jamie. I believe that I talked with all of them before my 6 months were over.
All in all I am not the easiest patient. If something can go rough it usually will. The procedure went great, I don’t take pain meds well so I was ready for that. They helped me through what might help. They helped me through everything that I needed help with and I am sure they must have thought yikes what a needy patient! But here we are! I love no tummy flap and appreciate everything!”

“This company attempted to pacify me with a scant $1000 (no where near the actual cost of surgical correction) and then raised it to $3400 but under the terms of this NDA that releases them from all claims and requires all bad reviews be taken down on any internet or social media platform. Now I know how all of their centers maintain an excellent rating and I feel that I chose them with a false sense of security because of this inaccurate rating. I can only assume they do this to all of their customers they don’t want reviews from. You’re only seeing what they want you to see. My experience was through the Dayton and Columbus offices, but looking at other location reviews, this appears to be a company wide practice. Beware of this company. I regret trusting them with my body and $3400 certainly isn’t worth my silence.”

“3rd Update…it is 8/23/2022. It’s been over a year since my first procedure, and over 4 months since I was contacted by the patient advocate. I was granted a visit with a new surgeon on 8/4/22, who decided that while revision was possible, I could not expect perfection. I was simply grateful that a revision procedure was approved. I am almost one week post op from my revision procedure as of this post, and so far, very happy with both the procedure itself as well as my results. Of course only time will tell as I am still very swollen and have a lot of healing to do, but if what I currently see is any indication of what lies ahead, my lopsided days are behind me. I will update further as healing progresses.

2nd Update…. After posting my review, a patient advocate from the Sono Bello office reached out to me on 4-1-2022, and will submit a review of my results to their CMO. If I understand things correctly, they will look at my results and determine whether or not I qualify for their satisfaction guarantee. She was uncertain as to the amount of time it would take for this review and determination to be made. I am hopeful but wary. Updates to come.

Update....This was my final visit. After spending almost $16,000.00 on 5 different procedures, and close to 9 months of visits, plus the time and expense of driving over 30+ hours to and from the office, I am left with a lopsided abdomen from the Trisculpt Ex, a bulging, muffin-top waistline, and very apparent bra rolls. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with my results, my surgeon told me there was nothing else Sono Bello had to offer me, that my disappointing results were due to excess flesh and weight gain (less than 10lbs), and that I should go to a private practicing plastic surgeon if I wanted to fix these problem areas. I wish he had gifted me with this advice before I had made such a huge investment in my time, energy, and money. The nurse, Ashley, who was so supportive during my prior visits, had reassured me when I expressed my concerns over these areas during my 3 month check up, that if I still wasn't satisfied at my 6 month post op check up, that even if the surgeon didn't agree with me, an appeal could be made on my behalf. She was not available at that visit, and the nurse I spoke to said the misshapen abs and bra rolls were all due to swelling and that I was to wear a compression garment for another 2 months. When I requested for Ashley to be present during my 9 month post op visit, I was told that she was not available and that she had no authority to order or authorize any kind of revisions. I was denied access to any kind of advocate, including my husband, as I was told that it was Sono Bello policy that only the patient could be in the exam room. While the staff has always been extremely friendly, it doesn’t make up for the lack of results.

This was my one week postop visit, and I was thrilled to get Ashley for my nurse! She answered all of my questions, plus provided additional information I hadn’t even thought of. she was so down to earth and easy to talk to, and she really made my experience there exceptional! I love all of the staff at the Columbus office and highly recommend this surgical center for all of your contouring beauty needs!”

The nursing staff has been wonderful too!

The day of my first procedure, I felt light-headed after IV injection. Nurse Tera sat me down with a bottle of water to drink and a cool compress for my forehead, which did the trick. Two weeks later when I returned for my second surgery, I had Tera again. She remembered me from before, joked with me about not passing out on her this time, and was prepared with that bottle of water and compress just in case. Proud to say I didn't need them that time (and for the record, I never *actually* passed out, haha).

In the OR during each surgery, Dr. Femovich and nurse Tasha kept me comfortable on the table. They played music to distract me and help to relax, gave me clear and easy instructions to follow, reassured me that things were going well, and periodically asked about my pain/discomfort level.

Nurse Ashley has also been a rockstar during my post-op and recovery. She made sure I was good to go with my compression garment, over the counter pain + swelling/bruising medication, and scar treatment. I have texted her with questions I forgot to ask during my appointments, and she always gets back to me. When I had concerns with my AbEX incision not closing on my left hip, she asked me to text her photos of the area. After seeing the photos, she determined my stitches hadn't dissolved properly there, and got me in to have them removed that same day.

Right now, I am 3.5 weeks after my last surgery, so there is still a ways to go before realizing what my final results will look like. But if anything else comes up or I have any more concerns, I'm confident the staff at Sono Bello Columbus will continue to take good care of me. Literally everyone I've interacted with has been super friendly and a pleasure to speak with. Every time I walk in, Stephanie at reception remembers my name and says hello. Same thing when I see Jamie in the hall as I'm walking to the back for an appointment with one of the excellent nurses. It really has been a great experience!”

So far, my experience with Sono Bello Columbus has been great! Starting back in March with my free consultation, the entire staff has been awesome and understanding. I had lost quite a lot of weight on my own over the past couple years, but was still unhappy with residual fat and loose skin around my midsection. So I made appointments with a few different cosmetic clinics/surgeons in my area to learn about the options, get several different opinions on my body + goals, and make a wholistic evaluation.

The Patient Care Consultant, Jamie, was very patient with all my questions. I explained that I was early in the process, and still trying to figure out what procedure might be best for me (tri-sculpt, cool sculpting, full abdominoplasty + rear body lift, panniculectomy/AbEX, etc.) She took the time to explain what I could have done at Sono Bello, versus operations I would have to pursue elsewhere. She was able to pull in Dr. Femovich to take a look and share his thoughts as well, comparing the pros + cons of each option I was considering.

Of course, it's in their best interest to try and earn business with each consultation, but I never felt pressured to do so before I was ready. Jamie was gracious and encouraged me to keep my appointments with the other doctors so that I could be confident in my decision. She checked in with me over the next week or so, as I met with other clinics, and I found it helpful to discuss with her what I was hearing from each competitor. After doing my due diligence; I ultimately elected to move forward with Sono Bello to treat my hips, waist, upper + lower abs, and AbEX skin removal.

Jamie was flexible in helping me plan how to cover things financially, schedule around my travel for work, and still get me in to see the same surgeon I had already met. At my first pre-op appointment, I mentioned to Dr. Fem that I might also be interested in adding on inner and/or outer thighs. After talking with him, he recommended inner thighs + knees. Jamie put together a new quote, and we added that to my procedure plan over 3 different surgeries. After the pre-op, I felt like I had all the information I needed on how to best prepare for surgery and what to expect in recovery. After my second procedure, a slot opened up to have my final surgery earlier than originally scheduled. Jamie was proactive in having the reception staff reach out to me to see if that would work with my availability. I'm glad it did, as it effectively reduced my recovery period by two whole weeks.”

“Update....This was my final visit. After spending almost $16,000.00 on 5 different procedures, and close to 9 months of visits, plus the time and expense of driving over 30+ hours to and from the office, I am left with a lopsided abdomen from the Trisculpt Ex, a bulging, muffin-top waistline, and very apparent bra rolls. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with my results, my surgeon told me there was nothing else Sono Bello had to offer me, that my disappointing results were due to excess flesh and weight gain (less than 10lbs), and that I should go to a private practicing plastic surgeon if I wanted to fix these problem areas. I wish he had gifted me with this advice before I had made such a huge investment in my time, energy, and money. The nurse, Ashley, who was so supportive during my prior visits, had reassured me when I expressed my concerns over these areas during my 3 month check up, that if I still wasn't satisfied at my 6 month post op check up, that even if the surgeon didn't agree with me, an appeal could be made on my behalf. She was not available at that visit, and the nurse I spoke to said the misshapen abs and bra rolls were all due to swelling and that I was to wear a compression garment for another 2 months. When I requested for Ashley to be present during my 9 month post op visit, I was told that she was not available and that she had no authority to order or authorize any kind of revisions. I was denied access to any kind of advocate, including my husband, as I was told that it was Sono Bello policy that only the patient could be in the exam room. While the staff has always been extremely friendly, it doesn’t make up for the lack of results and care. In the end, Sono Bello has, in my opinion, proven itself to be the cosmetic surgery equivalent of fast food. They do say you get what you pay for, and unfortunately, I thought I had paid for a steak dinner but ended up with a value meal special off the dollar menu. Follow my surgeons advice and take your money and expectations elsewhere.

This was my one week postop visit, and I was thrilled to get Ashley for my nurse! She answered all of my questions, plus provided additional information I hadn’t even thought of. she was so down to earth and easy to talk to, and she really made my experience there exceptional! I love all of the staff at the Columbus office and highly recommend this surgical center for all of your contouring beauty needs!”

Dr Andrews did my first surgery, and took twice the amount from my left side compared to my right side With two other surgeries they still never corrected the areas impacted leaving my right upper thigh unsymmetrical and is visibly larger than my left. Dr Femovich refused to fix my stomach after confirming to me it’s a hot mess, he refused to fix my right leg, grabbing my inner thigh claiming it is just skin. Again it is very clear the right leg is larger overall than the left. Dr Andrews did areas for free that were also left to be unsymmetrical, I was told these areas are undocumented and nothing they can do. Dr Andrews no longer has a license to practice medicine in Ohio. How do you preform medical procedures and fail to document them?”

“Truly, I never thought I would be able to have liposuction because of cost and insurance not covering cosmetic procedures. For me, this was not just a cosmetic procedure, it is a life changing procedure. I have always been overweight and carried it mostly in my midsection. I used to wear a size 14 and had a small panis after having kids. Over the last two years I have been on a wellness journey improving my diet, exercising more, and just all around living better. No matter what I do I could not lose the middle. It was emotionally and mentally draining to lose weight but never lose my abdominal fat. This was psychological torture for me and I felt sick often and trapped in a body that wasn't mine.
Sono Bello changed all of that for me. Liposuction is NOT for weight loss, that journey is still on me. Now I face it with confidence unlike any I had before. I can wear a size 10 and it feels great! My abdomen is essentially flat and my hips, waist, and bra rolls are smooth and minimized.
The Staff at Sono Bello are exceptionally trained professionals who listened to my concerns and focused on me as an individual. Every step of the way you will meet great healthcare professionals like Sarah and Stephanie at the front desk, to Ashley the RN, Tera LPN, Alice LPN, Kelly LPN, Tasha MA, Connie LPN, then Donna the Practice Manager, Jamie and Mary Patient Care Consultants, and Dr. Rak my Physician. He even called to check on me the next day after the procedure, talk about patient focused. You are all wonderful.
You may be asking, is liposuction painful? The answer is you will experience pain but the trained staff are experts at minimizing your discomfort. My advice is select a strong support person take you to the appointment and who will listen to the post-op instructions. Someone who will be there and can help you navigate the first 24 hours after surgery. I managed my pain through prescribed medications, relaxation techniques, meditation, and rest. I would not have wanted to do it without the support of my husband. Whomever you select to be there for you the team will make sure they are as prepared as you are.
In only a few days you are essentially back to yourself and able to continue on with daily activities with some limitation spelled out to a "T" by your team at Sono Bello.
If you have ever considered having liposuction, go to a consultation. The Sono Bello team will help you decide if it is right for you. I'm so glad I made the choice to put a smile back on my face and confidence in my heart.

Sono Bello is VERY good at making sure you know what to expect at every step along the way. “The consultation was great! Jamie Byron was very personable and offered financing options and suggestions. She was also good at following up with me when I had questions or concerns. She was able to get me in for lipo surgery within 3 days! Which is great because they are usually booked up for weeks in advance. She walked me through the finance process and was always professional and seemed like she was genuinely trying to help me.
The post-op was okay. Dr. Kahlil Andrews was nice. He gave me info and answered questions. Pretty standard. I had done my research so I didn’t have much questions. But because of the last-minute surgery appointment the nurse did forget to give me my post-op bag that included some essential medication that would have saved me money. I had to buy my own arnica gel BUT when I went back for post-op they rectified it and gave me what I needed. I am scheduled for another procedure in a month. The first procedure was painful because they ran out of lidocaine. I have a low tolerance for pain. That was terrible. But this time, for second procedure, the nurse assured me it would be different. All in all, so far, the experience has been good. They lost a star for not giving me arnica pills and lotion before surgery and not having enough lidocaine. But I give them 4 out of 5 because I am pleased with the results of the lipo. I think dr did a good job and he even took some time to speak to my husband about surgery and he call me the next morning to check on me.

3 month UPDATE: today was my three month follow up. I saw Ashley and she was great. She always makes me feel so at ease and answers all of my questions. My results are great especially when I see the before and after pictures. The staff is always nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend Sonobello WestervilleTo anyone that is interested in liposuction.
I changed my review from a four-star to a five star because of the great results I am getting.”

“Had first consult with Jamie yesterday and she was very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Unfortunately a small hernia from an old laparoscopic surgery prevents me to proceed until I get it corrected. , She gave prices and showed me what they would do and how they would do it. However when I mentioned the small hernia, she said they are unable to do anything abdominal until it is corrected, because if the cannula would nick the hernia.... it would be bad. So, very honest, about hernia and what skin is too thin to do since I am over 60. I feel comfortable with doing some sort of treatment down the road, after losing some weight on my own and correcting my issues. I can see why it works better if you are 30lbs within your weight now, although I am 90 lbs over weight right now... I was still given options, but the more overweight, the harder it is to stop at one area. You have you keep going to other areas or you will look misshapen. Great experience!”

“At first I was very nervous for my first appointment. So nervous it cause my BP to spike extremely high. I didn't know what to expect even though it was somewhat explain to me. I never though after alll the weight I had put on and for the length of time I'd had it that I would ever be able to get rid of it, but most of it is gone and I'm still losing weight. For my height I was morbidly obese which was not good for my health nor my age. I thought I was at a point of no return. My first option was to have the gastric sleeve done but then my husband gone sick from Cancer and I decided to put what I wanted on the back burner until he got well, but that never happened because he died 2 months after he was diagnosed and I gave up the idea all together. Then I went to an appointment at Sono Bello with my sister and things changed. I decided that my husband wouldn't want me living unhealthy and would want me to take better care of myself. I found out that Sono Bello was a non-evasion procedure unlike the gastric sleeve and the healing process was much quicker and less painful than the sleeve. Now I feel better, I feel healthier and I owe it to the doctor and nurse (Dr. Kahlil Andrew and nurse Ashley) at Sono Bello. I'm still in the healing process because I just recently had my last procedure but I feel better and healthier now, than I have in the last 30 years. Thank Dr. Andrew and Ashley for everything.”

After the doctor reviewed what he was going to do they prepped me and off to lala land I went.
The procedure went by quickly and they got me out in time for dinner.
I was sore the next day and only took 2 pain pills, it felt like a really hard ab workout. The doctor called me the next day to check on me and was very pleased with the outcome. The nurse called a few days later to make sure I was OK.
At my 1 week follow up they were very friendly and helpful, they told me everything looked really well and the bruising was minimal. They were pleased and said that I will be really pleased after the swelling goes down, Over all a great experience

The only pain is that night and the second day but still bearable and like they say it’s a normal thing to feel after surgery . I am still waiting for the final result when I can feel no more pain and some bruising. All of the staff here at Sono Bello are wonderful and friendly. All I can say is the level of care Dr. Rak is exceptional he really care about your well being during and after surgery. (This is a personal opinion so I wouldn't deduct a star for this reason alone. I think that the music is to make you feel young and drown out the conversations at the front desk.)
Initial consultation with Jamie was great and she is very personable. She explained things well and allowed me time to make my decision. Not rushing or pressing me to move one way or the other, even though it was the end of the day.
My pre-op appointment went very good too! Still same feeling and Tasha, my nurse, was very helpful, accommodating and encouraging. I was comfortable the entire time, as awkward as it is gearing up for the before photos. Meeting Doctor Rak and having everything explained thoroughly really has helped put me at ease.

My second appointment I had my stomach done which hurt very badly maybe because it’s a more sensitive area but I was not a fan . My 1 week check up was good but it’s been about 2 weeks and my stomach is still huge, swollen and painful to the touch. “Dr. Thomas Rak performed the laser liposuction of my upper and lower abs and waist. I enjoyed the conversation we had while he was doing his work, and the discomfort was manageable. He made it very clear what I should expect: that he is removing fat, and not creating abs. I understood this well and informed him I had been exercising my abs hard for the past 3 weeks, at least 5-7 days a week. I am now halfway through the first week of my recovery, sleeping well, and have experienced very little pain. Because I had been working my abs hard, using dumbbells and ankle weights, I feel as if my abs were not completely traumatized. “Dr. Thomas Rak performed the laser liposuction of my upper and lower abs and waist. I enjoyed the conversation we had while he was doing his work, and the discomfort was manageable. He made it very clear what I should expect: that he is removing fat, and not creating abs. I understood this well and informed him I had been exercising my abs hard for the past 3 weeks, at least 5-7 days a week. I am now halfway through the first week of my recovery, sleeping well, and have experienced very little pain. Because I had been working my abs hard, using dumbbells and ankle weights, I feel as if my abs were not completely traumatized. “I went to the Westerville location for the Laser liposuction. The office staff was friendly and worked around my busy schedule. Dr. Andrews is great. I felt a little pain during the procedure but Dr. Andrews and all the nurses was very supportive. I went back one month after the liposuction and had the excess skin removed. Still healing but I am seeing some great results. Do not do cool sculpting. I did it twice with no results for the money I paid. With Sonobello I am seeing results. In my second month. “Very unprofessional. Understaffed. Unorganized. Cannot keep their promises to patient. They don’t seem to care much about their patients. I’m very surprised with their high ratings which was our initial reason to come here, but unfortunately we are very disappointed.

We came for our initial appointment. We drove far, found a baby sitter, and planned our schedule around this appointment. When we got there, were waiting in the waiting room for 2 HOURS because we were told Jaime, the consultant was running behind.

Close to the end of that 2nd hour, we contacted Jaime, the consultant we were supposed to be seeing, and her answer carelessly was “still not sure when she can consult us” knowing that we have been out there me waiting for 2 hours.

Jaime, please remember, people have other commitments. We understand things come up, but 2 hour wait with an appointment set up 2 weeks earlier?

This is unacceptable and unprofessional. It was 2 hours of our Saturday wasted. We arrived 15 minutes early as instructed. This is something that we have been waiting for years to do and finally have all the cash ready for this. No financing would be needed.

We are glad we won’t be going through Sono Bello for this reason. If the initial impression is this unorganized and unprofessional, we cannot image going through the rest of the process with them. I would not recommend.”

“After reading several reviews, I chose to have liposuction done on my abdomen through Sonobello. My experience with the staff was very good. Everyone was very friendly. I went early in the morning for my surgery. A nurse took me to a small, cold room to change. I put on the gown and the nurse and doctor were in and out to explain everything and gave me my meds for surgery. I wasn’t anxious about my surgery but for anyone that would be, the waiting room is certainly not appealing. For those who may be scared or nervous, there was No music, no tv, nothing to try to keep your mind off of the procedure. The nurse assured me that I wouldn’t feel anything. She said most people don’t even remember. That was not the case for me. I’ve had 3 children, one c-section and two colonoscopies and never experienced this kind of paid. The pain during surgery was excruciating!!!! I felt everything. They gave me a ball to squeeze. I’m assuming the meds they gave me just didn’t work. I read another review where a patient had the same experience with pain during surgery. As far as my results, I’m only one day past surgery. My pain is manageable and I can tell my abdomen area is much smaller. Can’t wait for the swelling and bruising to go down to see my final results. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to have liposuction to have a conversation with the Dr. about the level of pain that could be possible during the surgery.”

“My journey started couple months ago at work when my coworker was tell us about Sono Bello. That night I put I a consultation. I met with Ali and she was the best. I don’t move on with the procedure due to people discouraging me. Finally I January I decided to schedule another consultation and Ali called me and said my file is still open that I donot need another consultation. She said if am ready we can go ahead and schedule. I scheduled but still was very scared and worried. My first pre op appointment was a mess: got there at 10am and was told it was at 9:30. I was very upset and even thought of cancellation. But no I decided to schedule another and it went well. Dr Rak and nurse where very polite and explained every thing I will expect to see. The receptionist was amazing. I wasn’t too happy on day of my procedure; their time management was not the best. Thou I will give them credit for keeping me informed. Before my procedure I met with Dr. Rak. He was still awesome. I remembered him telling me to watch the show on amazon prime- Fasting. Surgery went well. Guess what Dr. Rak was the first person to call my phone in the morning the day after my surgery to check on me. That’s very good of him to do that. I did my one week post op check up. Am still very sore, starting to like the way I look and hoping for that result I want .....”

I would not recommend at least this location to anyone because of my experience during my procedure of Laser Lipo. The doctor while I'm lying there awake, all most completely naked, feeling vulnerable and quietly crying to myself because it hurt told me I needed to toughen up. I needed to toughen up! I am told for most this is not a painful procedure. I however do not respond well to whatever numbing medication that is given, it takes a long time for me to be numb. Never in my life have I been called a wimp or even hinted at to have a low pain tolerance. Regardless of me or that fact a patient should never be told to toughen up. I could be the biggest baby in the world and never should have been made to feel the way I did. It was one of the worst days of my life and something I will never forget or ever do again.”

I moved to Atlanta directly after both procedures, so Westerville linked me with them saying they would fix everything, and I even had an appt there. Phone calls stating they were planning to re-do some things. Then, NOTHING! No return calls and no more communication at all. I feel VERY taken advantage of! $13K (cash, not financed) given and no happiness in return. I would not recommend this company no matter what city or state you are in! “UPDATED: After my disappointing first experience I was hesitant when Ali reached out personally from her personal cell, I thought it was a robotext at first. She genuinely apologized for my first visit and promised to make it up to me if I was willing to give them a second chance. I believe in second chances so I agreed.... boy am I glad I did. They were waiting for me and the counter lady remembered my name. Ali was informative, non-judgmental and a joy to speek with. I look forward to moving forward the our discussed plan of action.

Arrived 15 mins before scheduled appointment. Waited 45 mins. Asked if it would be soon and was told 2 mins, waited 5 and left. Counter staff was nice.”

“For 9,160 some dollars one should be so happy with results. No... I would NEVER recomend sono bello to anyone.. one your awake during the procedure and the do a crappy job. So bad they did a revision for free and I still look like s**t. I went to dr vashi in westerville. Let's just say I am not doing a full tummy tuck next month and hoping it turns out to be what I want. Definitely going to another plastic surgeon. And only having to pay 2500 than what I did the first time.”
