“After having two very large babies body contouring was some thing I wanted but never thought I would be able to do. I saw an advertisement for Sono Bello and reached out. I received a text immediately I was scheduled in less than a week for a consultation and the procedure was doable and scheduled a month later. From Front to back office. Everyone was wonderful. The procedure itself I was amazed at how easy it was I receive continuous emails helping me through the process And someone is always available to answer any of my questions or concerns. “I am now 6 months post op and throughout this entire 6 months, I have been very vocal that I was not satisfied with my results. When I booked this surgery, the sales person mentioned there was a satisfaction clause, where patients may have the option to get their surgery revised. The office set up a 6 month follow up since they mentioned that was the length of time that needed to pass before all the swelling would be gone. The 4 areas I had treated (upper and lower abs and both sides of my bra back rolls) all still have substantial amounts of fat. When I met with the surgeon, Dr. Cho, he was very rude and dismissive to my concerns. He mentioned that those areas simply had "loose skin" from the fat removal process and there was nothing else he could do for me. I have seen loose skin. It is flabby and empty. The areas on my body still clearly have fat. They have volume and substance and you can tell it is not just merely hanging skin. When I continued to ask Dr. Cho questions, he replied "i am not going to sit here and argue with you". As a client who paid over $8,000 for a treatment, I would expect to be able to ask a surgeon questions without them assuming "I am arguing with them". His overall professionalism, demeanor and complete disregard for my concerns was extremely disappointing. I paid thousands of dollars for a service and I feel it was very poorly done. I would appreciate if Sono Bello would take my concerns seriously and either redo my surgery or refund the amount I paid because the results I received are honestly a joke. I would not recommend this office to anyone unless you want to completely waste your time and money.”

I am very thankful, first to Lauren, who listened and understood my concerns and suggested the best procedure to address those concerns. “It’s been about 4 months since I received liposuction from Sono Bello and I’m honestly disappointed and underwhelmed with the results. I got 4 areas done, upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and both bra back rolls. I see little change in regards to my overall body fat. I can still grab the rolls in each area and there is a substantial amount of fat left. For reference I’m about about 5’8” and weigh 200lbs. I did not tell my family or close friends who see me on a regular basis about the procedure because I wanted to see if they would notice the change in my body. Not one person has noticed or been able to tell the difference of fat loss. I gave this location 2 stars because my sales person Lauren was very sweet and professional, however, for the amount I paid, I am not satisfied with the results and would not recommend this procedure for anyone looking for a substantial change in body fat and overall appearance of their waist.”

Update: 2023
I was forced to give a review before my surgery. I am editing it now that I remember I made it. Technically, the surgeon did his job in removing my fat, it’s all mostly just loose skin. I wasn’t fond of his personality, don’t remember his name but I remember feeling uncomfortable as he kept trying to force me to lipo my whole abdomen when I only wanted my lower ab done. He told me if people looked at me in the street with only my lower ab done then people would look at me weird thinking “oh my god, why does her body look like that?”Mind you, my discomfort was always my hanging belly, my upper ab has never made me uncomfortable. After the surgery, now I have two hanging bellies which the upper (the one he practically forced me to do) is my biggest insecurity now. He told me not to do a tummy tuck because I am young and I can still have kids (?) so he told me not to get it done. Exercise hasn’t toned the area. I cannot wear tight crop tops or two piece swimsuits for this reason. I deeply hate the hanging belly so much. I look in the mirror and it’s just something I have to somehow learn to love until I can get a tummy tuck somewhere else.
The biggest problem I had was during the procedure. I had local anesthesia and I ended up feeling SO much of the procedure. The doctor adding the anesthesia, I could manage it, I managed it well. He even told me I was better than most patients. Then came the lipo part. The worst areas were my lower ab, close to my pelvis, my sides, and right underneath my ribs/at my ribs. I’d give the signal that I was in pain so the doctor would put more in certain spots but I still kept feeling it. It was so painful and I cried during the surgery just waiting for it to be over, it felt like the most intense burning and poking I’ve ever felt. After a certain point, the doctor was putting anesthesia in areas where I didn’t need more so it was being wasted, he told me I had no choice but to just hold on till he was done. Oh and to top it off, he suddenly needed to make an extra incision in between my ribs because apparently I had too long of a torso, which is odd because he hadn’t informed me that I’d need a fourth during evaluation. When he ran the suction over my bones was probably one of the worst pain, even worse than the lack of numbing in the rest of my abdomen.
The only good thing that came out of it is that my lower abdomen is a lot flatter than it was prior. And I healed without any infections or complications. I don’t recommend coming here unless you are really curious enough to try it out.”

“I waited a year post op to do this review to give it a fair chance and I’m just as disappointed today as I was 3 months post op. They make promises up front and then excuses after. I did the procedure where I got lipo plus skin removal on upper and lower abs and bra rolls. I paid 15k! Still have rolls they disfigured my stomach area by stitching me wrong and I have a flap of skin on my waist.
I am almost 30 lbs down so my weight is not an issue. I have excess skin on my stomach so what the hell was the point of doing skin removal ? Just a way to over charge me. I complained they said they would connect me with another location, it’s been radio silent. Save your money and go somewhere else. If you contact me I will send you pictures.”

“I arrived early in the morning the day of my surgery the office was still closed, and at 6:30am since the moment she opened the door Nurse Samantha was super professional and incredibly nice!
She helped me preparing for the surgery which was performed by Dr Stafford who is amazingly talented and did an incredible job!!
During the surgery Nurse Samantha was assisting Doctor Stafford while always making sure i was confortable and constantly taking care of me helping me turning in the right positions on the table.
After the surgery Nurse Samantha helped me to get ready and made sure i was good to go and she escorted me out to my driver and also called later that day to make sure at home i was feeling okay and someone was there taking care of me!
Today after a week i came back for my post surgery visit and there she was again, Nurse Samantha super nice as usual, she checked that everything looked good and that i was okay!
Always making me feel confortable and answering all of my questions.
I really recommend this Sono Bello location for the professionalism and genuine caring of doctors and nurses like nurse Samantha and Doctor Stafford. Thank you so much again Sono Bello Beverly Hills and looking forward to see you again soon for my three months post surgery visit.

“They were and are fabulous. They were very kind, quick and efficient with my consult, surgery and aftercare. The doctor had a very serious, but kind and comforting bedside manner. He called and checked in on my after the surgery, and my results are fantastic. I didn’t do so much of contouring, but I needed a lot of fat removed ( debulking ). They removed 3 liters of pure fat and my word, it looks so much better and I’m able to move so much more.
Pain is on a tolerable, but not too intense. The meds and cream they give you help a lot. I was awake during the procedure and surprisingly, it was not too painful.
The staff from the valet parking, to the front desk and nurses were amazing. They make you feel so good about your choice to go with them. They superseded my expectations.

“One of the "Plastic surgeon " did my lipo back on February 2021. The results are not what the promise or advertisements. They charged me $14,500 to do nothing. I did fall into depression, I did not see any results at all. We should get together and sue this stupid lie of Sonobello. I did go see other real plastic surgeons and they 3 told me the same thing, at different cities and clinics. That the Dr who did my lipo want even a plastic surgeon. They said a real plastic surgeon is not only going to care for the money but to make the patient or client happy. That's why at those clinics the Dr's make sure they give you one full price to do the back, stomach, public area, arms for one price. In Sonobello they charged me for my upper stomach, middle and bottom and pubic area and hips. With out even touching my upper back nor lower back or even trying to give me shape. So this Dr's said this Dr who did my Lipo did more like a belt because it doesn't look like a lipo to form a nice figure. It sucks. I wouldn't mind paying the $14,500 or even $20K if it was worth it and their was results, but no everything is the same. Hopefully I can gather more of this lady's that are going through this so we can all come together and sue Sonobello before they end up killing anyone.”

“I had an appointment today and I spoke with my consultant Christina. We talked about financing and she told me a company that they used. I said no because I did not want to run my credit. She told me that it wouldn't be a hard inquiry on my credit it would be a soft run. I don't know why I believe her but she lied and I will no longer use Sono Bello. Also I called twice to talk to an office manager one call was 8 minutes on hold and the second call was 5 minutes on hold. Then I vwas told the office manager couldn't talk to me and would call me back at the end of the day. That's not business to me. Christina also pressured me to leave a deposit I told her no and she tried again and I told her no again. Why should I leave a deposit if I'm financing unless the deposit was for a cancellation. I didn't not like what she said so I left without leaving a dime. I heard things about the people that work there but I did not believe it. Well now I think it's true....... Dr. Satey & his staff took care of me 1000%. Dr. Satey was very informative and patient, would check on me every few minutes to make sure i was comfortable. All of my questions were answered, he and was very gentle throughout the entire process.
The nurses were super friendly and took good care of me. The Dr and staff was very responsible by checking up on me multiple times after the procedure.
The place was clean and organized and they let you choose your music for the procedure which was super calming and helpful in my case. AND the procedure did not hurt AT ALL!

I went for my consultation and before I knew it, my pre-op was the next day, my surgery was the following week and here I am a week after. Literally all was good taken care of with in a week. The location was easy to find and the valet parking is validated by Sono Bello. As soon as I walked in the door I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful welcome. I met with Teofana for my consultation and decided to sleep on it for a few nights. Since, let's be honest Google only shows you so much. After a few days I decided to proceed with my upper and lower abdomen procedure. I met my assigned surgeon, Dr. Satay during my pre-op and I highly recommend him because while I just saw my abdominal area. I didn't take into account how uneven it would make my sides or waist look until he showed me exactly what areas fat would be removed from. He patiently answered all my questions and make me feel welcome to call the office if I had any later.
I absolutely adored all my nurses and I hope Sono Bello is aware how welcoming and amazing their nurses and front desk staff are. During the procedure Dr. Satay made sure that I was comfortable, calm, and adjusted accordingly if needed. The procedure went well and smoothly.
Now on to those amazing nurses I came across such as May, Nayely, and Natalie that I remember off the top of my head that really helped me get over my anxiety with their positive attitude. The nurses at Sono Bello - Beverly Hils are amazing in my book. I have already been recommending this place to friends, co-workers, and family. My only, recommendation is to the pre-op checklist that is given which is to suggest patients to get underpads to prevent leakage getting on your bed. I didn't think to purchase that until I was given a few to take home. I had a wonderful experience and I thank everyone for making it so.”

“I’m 58 and decided if I really want to get rid of the fat I needed to give this a chance. As someone who has tried various diets and killed myself working out in the gym, I found that I just couldn’t get rid of my stomach pouch.I even tried a version of cool sculpting. What made me hesitate though was that I was fearful of the procedure - surgery. I have never had any major surgery in the past.Well, the surgery was a piece of cake. They really explained what to anticipate. Through the procedure and follow up the appts, the staff has been very friendly and helpful. I was initially concerned about the drainage and leakage from the procedure but I considered it to be minimal. I am not one to take narcotics for pain so I stuck with taking aspirin for pain and discomfort. The doctor followed up with me the day after my procedure and actually left a number to call him directly if I had any questions or concerns. I am two weeks into my recovery, and although there is still some swelling and a little discomfort (as was expected) I LOOK and feel great!”

“For the most part my experience with the Woodland Hills/Beverly Hills Sono Bello was a positive one. Susan was my main contact once I started looking into Sono Bello Lazer Lipo as an option for me. After meeting with Susan I was introduced to Brittany who assessed my physical condition and asked me what change would make me happy and she described a treatment plan that she was confident would make me happy with the results. *Brittany is not a Dr.
After reading many reviews and giving it a lot of thought I decided to move forward and requested a pre-Op appointment where I would meet the actual Dr. During this time I had questions and Susan was Very attentive always getting back to me quickly.
I met with Dr Hsu who I cannot express how much I appreciated his honesty when he evaluated my physical condition and my personal results I was hoping to achieve. Based on my upper abdomen he felt I would be a better candidate for a full tummy tuck, he could remove all the fat and do a mini tummy tuck on my lower abdomen but I would still have sagging skin on my upper abs, in 6 months I could have a full tummy tuck done elsewhere as that is not a procedure that Sono Bello does. Again I had a big decision to make and after some research I decided to wait and just do a full tummy tuck.
I cancelled my procedure at Sono Bello and they were very gracious and understanding, In my opinion Sono Bello is an excellent procedure for many people to achieve the results that they are looking for, it just would not work in my physical circumstance. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I really had my hopes up after meeting with Brittany just to feel disappointed after meeting with Dr Hsu Who Again I cannot say enough how grateful I am for his Honesty and understanding, He truly puts his patients needs and hopes First over $$$ and thank you aain Susan for your understanding!”

So, one day I finally decided to take advantage of a free consultation with one of the Sono Bello’s consults and clear up what the real procedure and recovery are.
On Monday, July 22nd, I scheduled an appointment with Sono Bello Beverly Hills, CA location. On Wednesday, July 24th, I’ve met my consultant Maggie McClendon. I felt like she is my best friend and I trusted her from the first minute of talking. She just charmed me with the knowledgeable review of the procedure steps, desires and expectations so I was able to obtain as much information as I wished to know. Then we discussed the cost and payment options, and I found that Sono Bello is offering different payment options that more or less convenient for my budget. Well, I was thrilled with the opportunity to get a fresh start, so my decision was quick and I had absolutely no doubts. Lucky me, they had a recent surgery cancelation very next day and I’ve got my pre-op right away with very nice and friendly nurse Jane, and I’ve met a fabulous Dr. Hsu who explained me every single step of upcoming event and all the expectations and complications might occur. He was very welcomed to answer all the questions and listened me very carefully about my concerns of possible overdose with prescribed for the procedure medications. Next day, Thursday, July 25th, I arrived one hour earlier. The office personnel from the reception representatives to nurses were warm and welcomed so made me calm and confident about the procedure. I am not a celebrity, just an ordinary person, but the service I’ve got made me feel as VIP! Nurse Vanessa made the pre-surgery preparation more comfortable and pleasant than I’ve been expected. The actual procedure took about two and a half hours, and was more or less comfortable and almost pain free. I was really calm because I trusted Dr. Hsu and his assisting nurse Cynthia. I can tell, these people are real professionals; they know exactly what they are doing! After the surgery nurse Cynthia helped me to dressing up into the tight after-op garments and carefully placed all the pads for incisions drainage to avoid leaks and stains on my clothes. I dressed up and was able to walk out of the surgery room on my feet! Well, two weeks after I can tell that my “no doubt” quick decision was just right and the Universe helped me find out just the right place and people, who really care, help others and love their work! I am so grateful to each and everyone from Beverly Hills, CA office: Patient Care Consultant Maggie McClendon, Dr. Hsu, Operations Manager Angelina Saenz, Nurse Jane, Nurse Vanessa, Nurse Cynthia, Nurse Carmen and others for their hard work, kindness and real care! The doctor and personnel do a great job toward to the best results. However, most of the job I need to do myself. Tried to return it and apparently it was a no return policy if you purchase from Sono Bello, if you purchase directly from the maker, they will allow returns w/in 15 days if not worn.. which is kind of a problem as well because you need to try it on in order to see if it fits!!

Kayla at Woodlands is one of the best consultants Ive ever experienced and professional and thorough without being pushy and made me feel at ease by her knowledge about the procedures and walked me thru everything. Sadly it wasn't the same experience I received when I turned up at the Beverly Hills office and I seriously think they need an overhaul and staff training in how to treat clients. Fortunately Michael the doctor remedied my bad experience there after being left freezing in a cold room for 40 minutes after being told to change into bra's pants and a light covering. I even had to phone reception from my phone for someone to come in to bring me water that I'd asked for 3 times. Even after RINGING, and the receptionist telling me she would organize it, nothing happened and I was left there longer until someone else came in who had heard nothing regarding my requests for water 3 times. I left satisfied in the end, but my painful and uncomfortable was totally unnecessary and could have been handled better. Megan and Ashley were good. However, niceties need to be reflected by action of the entire team and something is definitely a miss being in hospitality my entire life.”

“DO NOT DEAL WITH SONOBELLO. I scheduled a procedure on the day of my consultation and the procedure date was going to be 13 days later (this was in June 2017). Unfortunately I was told I was going to be pulled for a military exercise (my command notified me the day after I scheduled my procedure and said I would be leaving 2 days after my procedure, so 2 week notice), I immediately contacted Sonobello and was assured that by providing my military orders they would completely refund me. A week later I received 50% of my payment (2k). I called and asked where the other half was and was transferred and put on hold (this process followed with emails and talking to multiple people took 2 weeks) and they then reimbursed (1k), once again I called and e-mailed and THEN was told $995 was non refundable and that they couldn't give me it back (according to a corporate lady in Washington)...she said I could use it in the future l. However, I'm Active Duty and received orders to Guam I needed to execute later that year, December 2017, which I let them know). IF THIS WAS THE CASE, I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ASSURED FROM the beginning and multiple times that I would be completely taken care of. Corporate should have been ethical and stood by what their employees and managers were promising. So essentially I paid $995 for a "free consult". This place is surgery mill and only there to steal people's money. So many reviews I read after cancelling had people regretting their decisions to go forward with the procedure. They need to be shut down.”

“I am going on 6 months recovery and i couldn't be more unhappy and dissapointed. I didnt expect a perfectly flat stomach as if i were 20 again however, i was told over and over my stomach "would be gone". I expressed my major atea of concern with my doctor in specific detail and he reassured me i would be very pleased with results but would have some loose skin (which he said I'd be comfortable with). My stomach is anything but "gone"! $7000 later and very minimal results. I go back in October to see my doctor personally. So far I've been told im still swollen but i feel im being told whatever works to calm me until next visit. I wouldn't recommend lipo here. Do your homework and find a more educated clinic. The consultation is done by a sales person and not a medical advisor. My 1st mistake!!”

“I would not recommend this place to my worst Enemy. I spend thousands of dollars here, and they butchered me. First off, a sales person sees you and signs you up. After you have put in the money, then the doctor sees you. By then, it is too late to know if you are good candidate or not. So after I saw the doctor, he promised that I can do 7 areas in one shot. Plus he said, recovery time 3 days. I was in bed for 12 days. Second, I had just a little shrinkage in my wast and some in my lower stomach. The Upper stomach look as if nothing was taking away. Now they tell me well we took as much fat as it was recommended at that time. Now, I have to pay more so they go in and take more fat off. I clearly asked them if this procedure should be done in two sessions, they said no. My lower stomach is much smaller, but I have huge saggy skin
left behind that he promised will be contracted with laser. IT IS NOT> Now I need tummy tack. MORE MONEY TO SPEND>
The worst is, I paid for under arm / bra roll fat to be removed, he did not do that at all but took my money. During procedure I was sedated, so I couldn't pay attention on what area he was working on. after the procedure as he walked away, I notice that he did not worked on my arms/ transepts. I called on him, then he came back and did my arms. Then he forgot the under arm/ bra roll. I realized that the day after as I had no pain there like all the other areas that was worked on. Now I am asking them to redo these areas, they want me to pay more. WHY????

“I made an appointment with them I went in checked in with Robert he is so sweet that is the kind of personality you need at a front desk greeting customers, then I spoke with Laura Lee about all the problem areas I wanted to take care of she was very professional she explained everything to me in detail I scheduled my surgery for the following week after. I had an appointment a few days later to meet with the doctor and also let him know my problem areas and what my goals were he was very understanding and explained to me in detail what the procedure will be step-by-step my surgery was this March 25 and the day of surgery I went in I was so scared and nervous I had so many different feelings but once I walked in my nurse Monica and my surgeon Dr. Shoe were so sweet and nice they helped calm my nerves and reassured me that I'm ok. They gave me my medication before surgery and took me in to the surgery room I laid me on the table and I really liked that my surgeon and nurse explained everything as we started all the way to the end. The procedure was not painful at all I was even laughing when he would hit certain areas like my ribs and hips. As of today I'm only 6 days post op and I'm feeling so good. Im loving my results now so I can already see it's even going to get better once my swelling goes away. The next day after surgery I was already up and around walking and went back to work that Monday. As a 62-year-old woman in good health, I have always maintained a healthy diet and exercised moderately but could not get rid of my belly fat. I had resigned myself to just having to live with it until I went to Sono Bello. I was always hesitant about traditional liposuction because of the trauma to the body and the general anesthesia required. Sono Bello was different. The staff, including my doctor, were all extremely nice and knowledgeable. The procedure took about 4 hours under local anesthesia with minimal bruising. The pain was much less than I expected, I was off pain pills by the second day and off Tylenol by the 4th day. It's been 3 months since my procedure and my stomach is almost flat! “I went in to sonobello 12/21/16 for my consultation with Lonnie she was great. She gave a lot of information and could fit me in very short notice for my surgery the following week 12/28/16. That day I met with Dr. John F. HSU and he was very kind and also informative. The nurse was the nicest and sweetest I hate I can't remember her name but I will update once I do. They made me feel like I wasn't just a number and I loved that.
So the day of my surgery I got to the office early and they took me back and started my pregnancy test checked my blood pressure and had me switch clothes right away. I was given my pills and told to just relax with the lights off. Dr. John F. HSU came in doodled on me as he asked a few questions and made sure I was comfortable. Then they switched me rooms and the surgery began.
During surgery I was very comfortable and relaxed DR. HSU and my nurse Candance kept making sure I was ok. I felt something maybe just pressure towards the end and he stopped as soon as I said I did. The two wonderful nurses got me dressed and reminded all the things I needed to do post op. I got hope I was still not feeling anything and I thought I could handle pain so I didn't take the pain meds ???????????? oh that was a mistake. I felt like I had got run over by a truck and set on fire. So I took a couple of my pain meds and once the kicked in I was fine.
So my first day post op and I'm walking around as I was told to popping my pain meds as instructed and I have very light pain from time to time and it's usually when it's time for more pain meds. I tried to eat oatmeal and couldn't I then tried a banana and couldn't so I just did soup and a smoothie. I've had very minimum leakage so I just kept everything the way they had it. I drunk 6 bottles of water. I took my pain meds and antibiotics every 4 hours. Today was a good day. I will take off my garments tomorrow to take a bath and I will let you guys know what I see then ???????????? I attached some morning of the surgery pictures”

I had a very welcoming experience. My first day when deciding on what I wanted and willing to pay for was no pressure. When I met the doctor, I was surprisingly comfortable. After the surgery, the staff continued to communicate with me through a few calls and regular emails. I had a very good experience for my first cosmetic surgery. I am pleased with my results and looking forward to seeing what my final results will look like. If you have lipo on your abdomen, I don't recommend eating anything after surgery, my stomach could not handle it and I had a meatless burger (vegs and bread). Just liquids at least until after you sleep and it probably depends on the time of your surgery. Nevertheless, I did feel better when I couldn't hold it down. Second day pain was bad, but the meds were very helpful. I didn't have a need to finish the full body. It's been almost three months and I look pretty good. Even though the healing process was fast for me, I still recommend you take it easy on your body. I love the body suit. I feel very supported and my waist looks even smaller when I where it on a daily basis. I have already recommended this procedure to some friends and family and I am seriously thinking about doing it again for other parts and I don't believe that corrected surgery will be needed. Oh, and the pregnant pooch is so much smaller, dramatically smaller, very pleased about that. I would do it again, just to shrink the rest.”

I paid 7,000 for lipo I was so unhappy with my results that i went back so they can do it i again as thats wht they told me in the begining that if u werent happy they would do it within 1 year this was told by Ashely , ITS A LIEEEE not true they told me i could but i had to pay again . They never had appointments availabla on weekends and when tbey do they always call during the week to cancel you.”

As always they were very nice I would love that by the nurse gave me my little goodie bags, give me my prescription and explains the procedures. The doctor came in and asked me what I wanted I explained to him that I wanted my upper and lower abs, and outer thighs. He asked me what I was trying to accomplish when I explained everything he told me that it was probably be better for me to do my flanks instead of my thighs and to do my way so that this way it would help with a contour of my body. So now I've made arrangements to do that and I'm both nervous and excited about the procedure. I will post pictures the day before the procedure and I will try and keep you all posted.”

She was always supportive, kind, and accommodating. She really made a huge difference in my experience. Kayla, the nurse that met with me in each consult and during the procedure was amazing. I can't speak highly enough about her. She answered all of my 100 questions with a smile and always supported what I wanted. Having a procedure like this can be terrifying no matter how much you want it. She always supported me and took the pressure off of any thoughts I had that I might be committing myself to something I now HAD to do, so I had the freedom to remember it is something I WANT to do. My doctor was kind, confident and honest. They checked in with me every step of the way and he called me personally to check up on me. I have had a wonderful experience with Sono Bello. I see another post on here about the pricing being different, but the bmi breakdown made sense to me and it was still five times cheaper than any other place I looked into. Also, Sono Bello is only body contour focused, versus other facilities that have a broader offering. They do this every day, which means I am a number, even though I was never treated like one. Being a number doesn't bother me in this situation. I want to be some place that does these procedures so much it is second nature; some place that does it so much they know exactly how to give me the results I am looking for. I had a great experience. I felt cared for and respected. Again, I can't say enough about Laurie and Kayla. They took my worries and nerves away and I am really grateful for them and for their work.”

“Hello every one, I am a 37 y/o (38 real soon) mother of 2. My oldest being 19 (going on 20 next month). This means that I've been longing to fix my problem areas now for 2 decades. My stomach, waist line and back. I am 5'4 approx. 200lbs. I really don't have trust with the BMI as it doesn't account for the body's other components such as water, muscle and bone. As of now I work full time and cannot afford the down time of a full tummy tuck (which I think is what I really need). So for now I'm opting for laser assisted lipo. I called to get a consult with Sonobello in Beverly Hills, CA, its close to my job and not too far from home.
My first impression of the office was ok, looks clean and nice but small and that's probably because I didn't get a grand tour. The "patient care consultant" was very forward and pushy. I almost felt pressured to do this. and it was the end of the business day. Needless to say I signed up and my procedure is set for the 10th of January 2015. I have a pre-op appointment with the Dr. performing this procedure. I will give an update in a week to discuss the meeting.

“Its been over a year since my procedures (upper & lower abdomen, inner thighs). I am somewhat happy with my results. But I do notice some things that I am not happy with. One of my thighs is lopsided looking and looks like they missed a small section. Also on my abdomen, it was not evenly done as well. There is some extra fat on one side as compared to the other. The thighs bothers me most as it is more noticeable. My experience during the procedure was ok. The cocktail they give you, in my case anyways, had me feeling pretty good and I didnt experience any pain. But I didn't like that people would just pop in and out of the room during it (consultants). I healed relatively quickly and didnt have much pain following everything so thats a plus. They did work with me on prices which I appreciated. I just wish my results were better.”

“I spent a few weeks exploring liposuction options in LA. I wanted to get my upper and lower abdomen and inner and outer thighs done. I met Yvette from Sono Bello (SB) for a consultation. Among several other reasons, I ended up picking SB because (1) Yvette was not pushy at all (most ‘free’ consultations are extremely frustrating because they push you to commit right away), (2) she was thorough, honest, and did not hold back any information, (3) she wasn’t really trying to ‘make a sale’; she actually told me I didn’t need to get my outer thighs done and that it would be a waste of money, and (4) I harassed her via phone and email after our consultation with several other questions and concerns, which she addressed promptly. OK so I went ahead and signed the papers. I returned one week before the surgery to meet with Christine, one of their nurses, and Dr. Dass, their plastic surgeon to go over all the details, and answer all (and I mean ALL) questions and concerns I had. They made me feel extremely comfortable and tried their best to ease my anxiety about the surgery. The day of the surgery, I asked if I could also get my lower arms done as well (you are paying for the surgical facility fee, so might as well make the most of it) and SB actually told me they can split my surgery into two sessions so that they can spend more time on each area (which worked out better - they were able to take out more fat! - and they did not charge me twice for the facility fee either). Immediately after the surgery, Dr. Dass, Christine, and another nurse made sure I was OK, helped me get dressed, took me to my ride and explained the post-surgerical routine, expectations, red flags etc. The same evening, Dr. Dass called my cell (that’s right!) to make sure I was OK, and if I had any questions or concerns. Christine also followed up the next day to make sure I was OK, and that I was doing everything necessary to recover. The same protocol was followed for my second surgery (the next week). To be honest, I was completely fine. I went to school within 2 days and was walking around, cooking, cleaning etc. Of course there will be some discomfort but I think the pain was minimal thanks to the SB team who did an excellent job to make sure I was relaxed, comfortable, and took my prescription pain killers when necessary. It’s been about 2 weeks since my second surgery and I’m extremely satisfied with the results already. I’m really glad I went with SB. I’m not sure why they received mixed ratings online but I’m sure those reviews are outdated because this branch is nothing but professional, courteous, and accommodating.”

“After having undergone lap band surgery, it seemed that the weight was coming off fairly easily with the exception of my abdominal area. Growing concerned that if my weight loss continued the way it was I would soon find myself at an A cup bra size with still have the problem in the abdominal are I decided to undergo the laser liposuction. I did my research on the internet and found Sono Bello.
No wanting to take time off from work, I scheduled my consultation for a Saturday morning. My experience that day was very informative and helpful. They went over in detail about the procedure and would to expect during and after the procedure. I felt so comfortable with the entire consultation that I scheduled my procedure that same day.
During the pre-op Dr. Dass again went over the entire procedure. Although it wasn’t what I wanted to hear, he did warn me that because I already had loose skin from the weight loss, I would continue to have some loose skin. He wanted to make sure that I was aware of the problem, and made no guarantees, which I really appreciated.
I was excited yet still nervous on the day of the procedure. Once I was there, the staff was really great and made me feel really comfortable. The procedure was relatively pain free, a little discomfort, but nothing too bad. My procedure was done on a Friday morning. I was home about noon and was in bed for the rest of the day.
The following Saturday afternoon I attended my niece’s birthday party. The pain level that day was somewhat significant but controlled by the pain medications. The next day, on Sunday, I went to the movies. By this day the pain level had decreased significantly, and was most prominent when moving from a sitting position to a standing position. Come Monday, I was ready for work, but unable to wear my heels that whole week.
One week after the procedure, I had significant swelling and little bruising, but I could see a major difference. I am looking forward to seeing the end results and how much more my body changes.
I would absolutely recommended Dr. Dass and Sono Bello to anyone who is looking to have this procedure done.

I was a bit skeptical about being "awake" during the procedure, but he assured me it would not be an issue. he was right. “My experience at Sono Bello was less than pleasant. During my initial visit I was pressured into committing to and putting down a deposit for surgery. And, when I show the "counselor" my body, she literally said "eeewe!" and that was about my knees!! A part of my body that I wasn't going to have done.
The reception desk is utter chaos; numerous phone calls to confirm, cancel, and then reschedule surgery. When I finally went in for my first surgery and was horrified when a front staff member came into the surgery room while the Dr was doing surgery on me and then proceeded to have a lengthy conversation with him during my surgery. For my second procedure, I was left on the table while the Dr went to do an exam on another patient. My records were lost at one point when I went back for my recheck and even the doctor commented "no body even knows what's going on here." The communication between front and back staff members is horrible and it really shows. The turn over rate here is very high and at least 5 people quit during the timespan of my pre and post op visits....even Dr Rollins (who is a good Dr) told me he was quitting on my very last appointment. Hopefully he has found a better place to practice.
When I went to the manager to complain about the quality of care I received here, I was brushed off and told that corporate told her there was nothing they could do for me. I had to schedule a redo and the areas that we never discussed with me in the first place went untouched. I honestly never left this office feeling good about myself. Just poked, prodded, and unhappy. I suggest doing a little research and going to a smaller clinic where they will take the time to really consult with you and walk you through your procedure, cuz it ain't happenin here.”

“I went to Sono Bello for a simple consultation and walked out booking my appointment and getting the wheels in motion. At first I met Meg and Maddie who were BEYOND helpful and accommodating. I called the offices two times after I left my consult because I thought of other questions and was a behind scared. There was always someone there to answers my questions before my pre-op appointment. Now, it's time for the pre-op. I was greeted by smiling faces and then escorted to my room where I met my nurse, Tiffany. She walked me through everything and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Soon after, Dr. Begovic came into the room to get everything going. I was scared. Extremely scared. I googled her before I came in and her reputation was everything I needed/wanted to see. A few days later it was game on, time to go. I woke up really excited but still, super scared. I stood up to get the markings on my stomach and started to feel the nerves coming in. Immediately they sat me down, gave me Gatorade and told me to take my time. I wasn't even in the room yet! They were so patient and gentle and didn't rush me through it. I got my courage up and went into the operation room. I met another nurse, Meg? (can't remember her name, was SO scared), who was in the room the whole time with us and was a saint! (not sure if operation room is what it's called but you get the idea) Dr. Begovic was focused on sculpting my body perfectly but making sure I was okay the whole time. She asked me constantly if I was okay or in pain and made sure what I felt was normal. I made it worse in my head leading up to the big day but it honestly wasn't that bad. Dr. Begovic told me exactly what I'd be feeling and I felt exactly what she said. I was fully prepared for any and all situations. By 9PM that night, Dr. Begovic called me to check in and see how I was feeling. They called again a few days later and were always concerned about making sure I was feeling alright and moving on to the next step. It's been about 6 days since my Abs/Waist Lipo surgery and I can already see results. I can't wait until the swelling/bruising goes down to see the final product. “In August of 2012 I contacted Sono Bello regarding the final, stubborn roll of fat surrounding my waist. I was booked quickly for a consultation and Meg greeted me upon my arrival; her cheerful face seemingly relaxed my tensions away. I explained how over the course of the last three years, I had lost ninety-five pounds and eight inches from my waist. The last remnants remained and I knew no amount of sit-ups, crunches, or diet changes were going to eliminate the fat. At fifty-seven, a male, I also wanted a flat stomach, something lost when I began to put on weight through negligence, poor diet, and lack of exercise. Meg evaluated my goals and scheduled me to see Dr. Rosenberg the following day. Dr. Rosenberg took his time with me and his reassurance of the outcome followed my expectations. The procedure was scheduled for the following week. I, however, was fearful and needed more time to digest what was about to occur and went home nervous, anxious, and unsure about my motives to seek treatment. That evening I wrote to Dr. Rosenberg and explained my feelings who in turn contacted Meg. I received a phone call the following day and was again assured I could take time to make my decision, for they realized, after having so many patients feel the same as I, I needed time to process what was happening. Later that same day, I called Sono Bello and rescheduled my surgery for October 12, 2012. Dr. Rosenberg performed an outstanding job in removing the fat and shaping my body, giving me my flat stomach from years ago. I’ve received a phone call and weekly emails about what to expect. Additionally, my comfort and outcome has been number one to both him and the staff. Personally, I believe Dr. Rosenberg offers an accurate outcome and realistic expectations of what one can expect. For example, I asked if I would have any definition under the layer of fat to be removed and he told me no. It was a bit of a disappontment, but I realized he only wanted me to see the truth. Are the muscles hard around my waist and stomach? Yes, they are. Have I achieved a somewhat V shape? Yes, I have. I’ll continue working on improving myself, but it’s Dr. Rosenberg who helped me see not what is, but what can be. I’m very grateful to have had him as my surgeon. My only suggestion Dr. Rosenberg, laugh a little more. You’re too young and life is too short. Again, thank you very much.”

I finally have the beautiful feminine curves I have always desperately wanted! And its all thanks to Dr. Begovic, and her consideration for my feelings and thoughts, and her absolutely outstanding surgical abilities! I am 100% satisfied with how gentle the nurses and the Doctor were with me, and with how beautiful the results have already started to make me feel. “I had previously written a rave review about this establishment. While I still think the world of Dr. Rollins, I have to say the office does not provide great service. When I went back for my follow up appointment, none of the people I dealt with still worked there. I did not like the way I was treated and after several months, they are now working to correct the problem. Dr Rollins is amazing, the rest I'm really not sure about at this time. I will post further review later :)”
