“I had Abex done at Sono Bello Edina,MN and I'm 4 days post op and I happy with my results I'm seeing so far can't wait to see what I will look like after the swelling goes down and once I'm all healed up. Dr. Volk did my surgical procedure he did an amazing job super nice and made me super comfortable during my pre op and surgery. “I’m still very disappointed my $800 has not been refunded despite withdrawing from doing my procedure. I went in for a consultation last year and scheduled to undergo a procedure few months later. So I made an $800 upfront payment but, along the line I called to say I was no longer interested in continuing with my procedure but I was shocked when the nurse who attended to me said, unfortunately the money I paid upfront was non-refundable. Like, how come no one told me this at the start when I was paying the money upfront. That just sounded like a scam. I’m still waiting for my refund.”

“I had my procedure done at the end of April 2023, I had liposuction and an incision from hip to hip to cut off skin, I still needed two other liposuctions in the waist area and bra line area. For a whole month I was bleeding like crazy, had to keep going in to get drained, bleeding also through my belly button, after that I Went to the U/Minn ER. They referred me to a different doctor who I saw within two days and was in the hospital for a hematoma, he had to reopen the whole incision, get rid of that and then back to drains in me for three weeks, I felt great after that. I called Sono Bello to tell them, what happened to me, even my new doctor said I was butchered. I told them Dr. Schneider will never touch me again and I wanted my money back for the procedures I haven’t had done yet. They told me NO refund, I complained a couple of times, and someone higher up called me and said I would get my refund. I have four years to decide about suing them, I think I should of gotten a full refund for what I went through. Sono Bello wants your business and they talk a good game when they want your business, actually they’re very deceiving. Think twice about this place. I can’t be the only one who’s gone through this.”

“PLEASE READ! VERY IMPORTANT!
On 2/2/2022 I pre-paid for a surgery scheduled in for May 5, 2022. I had an unforeseeable family emergency in Arizona and called to cancel my appt in April. I started requesting my refund in Nov 2022. It has been almost a year and a half now that Sono Bello has NOT refunded the $9,547.03 that I paid.
On 4/6/23 I flew back to MN and went to Sono Bello and spoke to Ali and was promised she would handle it asap.
On 5/15 I spoke to manager Peggy, who said she would pull my file and look in to it.
On 5/26 Charlotte said she would have a manager contact me.
Later that day I spoke to Rachel and she asked me to have my doctor write a note stating I was not eligible for surgery, when I refused to have my doctor falsify a letter she said she would email the area director Tera Davison.
Tera called me later that day. Tera had not heard of me or any refund I was owed but said she would get a complete refund (including my non-refundable deposit) if I would delete any bad reviews, but due to the Memorial holiday allow 7-10 days for the check.
Today is now June 16th 2023 and still NO REFUND CHECK!

Our next step is to hire an attorney! This is ridiculous. I paid the ENTIRE balance in advance of the surgery thinking this was a reputable company.”

“I feel like once you sign the dotted line and pay them, the customer service takes a serious nose dive. I also felt they sincerely misled me about the procedure. The consultant talked about how she had a family event a few days after the procedure and how she was totally fine. They also told me I wouldn’t have an issue wearing my jeans after the procedure. While I wasn’t in a lot of pain for too long, they don’t tell you how extremely uncomfortable you will be once the swelling begins and it lasts for a couple of weeks. It’s nearly impossible to find a comfortable position to sleep in due to the extreme amount of swelling. They don’t tell you about that and there is no way my jeans would have fit me that first week. The doctor did call me the night of my procedure which I thought was nice but that’s about it. Also, I had my driver all lined up and I believe it was the day before, they told me my procedure time had to be moved up so had to scramble to find someone. There is no follow up to see how you’re doing post procedure. I stumbled upon a lymphatic massage therapist who told me about the lypo foam and massage gun I should have been using this whole time. It’s alarming that Sono Bello didn’t care enough to tell me about these things that could have helped my healing and I’m 90 days post procedure. Makes me feel like they really don’t care. Last but not least, I showed up for my 90 day apt early. There were about 6 people filling out paperwork (potential clients) who showed up after me and they all were called before my apt time. I didn’t even get called back for my apt until 30 minutes after my scheduled apt time and was asking to reschedule due to the delay. While I’m satisfied with the results, I would not recommend due to the lack of support, honesty, follow up & care.”

“One morning I woke up and looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the person looking back at me. I had gained weight over time and no diet was working it’s magic with pills or crazy diets. I had recently lost my 91 year old mother and suddenly I was no longer her caretaker. I’ll be 70 next year. now faced with a new reality of taking care of me for the first time in many years. I was scared but made it to my appointment anyway. My hands shook as I filled out some paperwork and bravely sat down with Rachel for my interview.

Well, that was the last time I shook. As Rachel started talking she was so kind and personable, fear left my body. I was ready for a new start. Every person I met after Rachel was just as caring and helpful that I was ready to move forward with my procedure.

Today, I am thankful and excited about my results! I now have a flat stomach and a waistline that I hadn’t for years. It’s Spring soon and I’m ready to buy new clothes. It’s my life and I’m going to “Live it Beautifully”. Thank you SonoBello!”

“The customer service was amazing and Dr Volk called me the evening of my procedure which I thought was great. They did a fairly good job of preparing you for what to expect after the procedure. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the consultant I spoke with kinda set me up to have unrealistic expectations so I severely underestimated how uncomfortable I would be in regards to the swelling. It is extremely uncomfortable to sit and lay down for several days.

I stopped the pain meds after 2 days, mostly because the pain was as not significant, I was just extremely uncomfortable due to the swelling and probably didn’t get good sleep for about a week. I’m at 10 days post procedure and am feeling so much better. The swelling has significantly decreased and I can finally wear my jeans again. I’m excited for all the swelling to subside.”

The staff at Sono Bello are very kind and attentive to the patients. They want to make sure they have all of the info.

During the surgery I remember some discomfort but I was basically asleep. I don’t remember getting home or getting into bed but I remember waking up.

Recovery is hard. Follow their directions before and after procedure. Wear the bodysuit they give you post surgery, take the arnica and take the pain pills. Rest. Drink lots of water.

Sure Dr.Volk was able to take the max amount of fat off , but the post op care wasn't as great. I was told to do massages but not told how often, and how would I know if I was doing it correctly ?
I wasn't even asked about my concerns but only to be told I gained 10lbs and suggested I look into their newest program they offered called Venus legacy. “I had a Tri-sculpt Ex done in June of 2021. It was terribly painful. Which, I was willing to go through to get good results. Way more painful then explained by staff. Procedure is by far way more painful then ever expected or told..
And of course you can't stop in the middle.The nurse told me I did not need to come back for my 6 month appointment because things looked good. My stomach has been lop- sided ever since. So, I decided to make an appointment to see the surgeon who did my surgery. He noticed right away and said he would do a revision. The staff told me I had to wait until they got my chart. Funny thing was, they had it for my appointment. They told me to call back in June and that they were booked until August. I called the lady who takes care of this and nobody called me back yet. I mentioned that I thought that they should be willing to fix this sooner rather than later. Also, nobody sent home proper dressings to change over incision from hip to hip and my skin started to become necrotic, so I'm also left with an ungodly dark scar from this procedure. If you are planning to do this, make sure you are well informed and do your homework. The nurse i had was also rude to me and said, "It looks great, there's more fat for them to take. BS!!. Still awaiting a response for the revision.”

“Well I am really dissatisfied and disappointed won’t the results! I read reviews prior but have it a chance and didn’t want to believe that results were poor plus I liked my sales consultant and beloved her assurances even though I had tried to reduce the areas I initially wanted to see the kind of results I would get first - she convinced me I would get the results I wanted because she had done it too - and well bolony! I went in wanting my love handles on my back worked on and no change and no results!! During the procedure I felt immense pain while the tool they used was inserted so whatever medication I was given did not work well to keep me sedated during the procedure! I honestly wish I just went the traditional plastic surgery route and not sonobello!! Now they make you wait another six months and hope you don’t gain anything but there is some minor disfigurement from the cuts they made and I’m 3 months post surgery right now and wore the spanks for an entire month!! Anyway I don’t want to go through feeling that pain again regardless of the medication that doesn’t work well enough and now have added marks and disfigured from the incisions! Customer service is okay but what your actually paying for is nowhere near being worth it!!”

Dr. Strand is an architect for the body, my incision scar is very low, it is easily hidden by panties or swim suit bottom. “I went to Sono Bello 2 years ago. I only wanted to check it out and get prices. They told me the doctor could meet with me that day and an opening was available the next Saturday for the procedures. All the office help was amazing. I am not sure I would have done the procedure if I would have had more time to think about it. However, I did go through with it. When I went to do the procedure my blood pressure was 200+/100+. They gave me a blood pressure pill and then did the procedure. I was cut from hip to hip to remove loose skin and 12 other small incisions. I missed 1 week of work and was in quite a bit of pain for at least a month and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. IuiAnyhow, I don't feel that this procedure did any good. I weigh the same as I did before the procedure. A few of the incisions were to help back fat. No difference at this time. I told the company on my last follow up that I was very dissatisfied with my results. They said I could meet with the doctor to do more work. No thank you. It cost me over $11,000 for what I had already had done with no results. Plus, a lot of interest on the 2 credit cards I bvb had to use to pay for this procedure.Buyer beware and really take your time before you do this.!!”

“My experience with Sono Bello was a combination of good and bad but with a final outcome that leaves me happy, satisfied and thinking it was well worth it. How is that you ask? Well, when I went for my initial consult the staff were very friendly and helpful and treated me great - as they did every time I was there. During my procedure I didn't really feel a thing - the first time anyway. I had to go back to have a second one done because I wasn't satisfied with the result and they really are wonderful about making sure you're happy with the end results. But the second time, I don't know if it was because I knew what was gonna happen, scar tissue or what, but I felt everything the doctor did and I mean EVERYTHING! Even the little incision he made, I felt it. I was wide awake through the whole thing and it was very very painful. I kept thinking to myself, "omg I was so out of it the first time that I didn't remember much of anything, and this time I feel like I'm not gonna make it" - I wanted to make him stop but I toughed it out and got through it. Now I'm very happy with the end result. I just wished they would've knocked me out or given me another pill to relax me more. So there you have it - both a good and somewhat poor experience. I would recommend them though but if I could've I'd have taken something ahead of time to relax myself even though they say not to or they won't do your procedure. Good luck to anyone considering Sono Bello. You will be just fine and look mighty fine too.”

“Very classy, professional, and prompt. My procedure was scheduled quickly. I love my new stomach! I had 3 C-sections and hated my stomach for 17 years. I never should have waited so long! I had 3 areas liposuctioned and a big flap of skin removed which was basically a facelift to my pubic region! I have the stomach back that I had when I was 16! I’m now 55! I love it, my boyfriend loves it, and I get lots of compliments. I will say that it was a longer recovery than I’d first thought but the end result is worth it! The financing was easy! Even on his day off when I had a question it was the same compassionate energy. Talk about above and beyond. I am truly thankful. My appointments that I had post op I met the General Manager and RN and they were both loving and comforting. & The front desk staff are always on point. “Went to this place to get laser lipo done years ago, and once procedure was started was in immense pain. Unfortunately they wouldn’t turn back and just stop. To make matters worse I was botched, my hips are uneven (there is a bulge on one). I hope in the future I can get it fixed in the future but not by this place. It was bad from the beginning though I should have seen it coming, the lady who was giving me pricing had a snobby vibe. Please look elsewhere because for me it was not worth it!”

I believe it is the clients job to research the procedures and open up to work with the entire staff. A client needs to take initiative and seek out information each step of the way.It's a team effort!
The assistant surgical nurse was so calm and soft spoken that she helped calm my nerves the whole way through my surgery! I
cannot remember her name but I wish I did so I could Thank her.Doctor Volk is an excellent surgeon! My body is transformed
to my desired look.I cannot wait for my vacation next month to wear my swim suits! Thank you Sono Bello!”

“I would not recommend this place to anyone. They tell you they will make you beautiful but it is FAR from even close to that. They say there will be no pain and if you feel pain, they will stop and make sure there is no pain. NOT TRUE. They charged DOUBLE what I feel should be charged for what LITTLE they do. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Now with almost a year having passed since the surgery, I still have to wear The Binding garment because I feel like my gut is going to fall out. So I am still saying I would highly not recommend this place if this is what you can expect after almost 1 year.”

Not going to lie, I was a little hesitant and didn’t have the highest expectations for my micro-laser lipo as my stomach has been such a stubborn area and I never thought it would go away! I am now a little over a week out from my surgery and the results are absolutely incredible!!! I’m still swollen and it will take a few more months for me to fully recover but I’d honestly be happy if this were my final result. From having two babies my stomach was large with saggy skin. It’s now tight with no sagging skin and looks absolutely amazing! The whole process from start to finish was amazing and effortless. The nurses are so helpful and kind! Highly dissatisfied and was told the fat I had was stored next to my organs and they couldn't do anything else for me! $5,000.00 what a scam! If you are on the fence about having the procedure (excision and lipo is what I had) and you want information, go see them. There was no pressure to sign on. From my first consultation (where, incredulous, I listened to the knowledgeable consultant assure me, yes they could, indeed, get rid of all that fat) to my three-month, and final, follow up visit, I have been treated as though I were the only person in the world and they are there solely to meet my needs. I just had the opportunity to look over my before and after pictures. I am stunned. I love my waist! (I couldn’t locate it before this.) I had my procedure on a Thursday, and was back at my full-time job on the following Tuesday. I wore a dress that first day back, and had at least ten people exclaim that they “love that dress!” Keep in mind that I had worn that dress at least ten times and never had a compliment on it. Here’s the thing: it wasn’t the dress. It was how I looked in the dress. And this is exactly what I wanted! I look so much better! And from a practical standpoint, I don’t get out of breath tying my shoes anymore! I never thought I’d be the person who had a fat removal procedure. I thought my husband would have a fit when I brought it up. Guess what! My husband was completely supportive and he is happy that I am happy. If you are on the fence about this, I would urge you to go to Sono Bello in Edina. “I was hesitant to get liposuction, but after gaining weight decided the time was now. I am 29 weighed in at 223 and wore a size 12/14. I got upper and lower abdomen, waist and bra roll done. I had no idea what to expect, but I am so glad I made this decision--I feel better than I did in high school. Dr. Strand worked wonders and Elizabeth and the rest of the staff made me feel very at ease. Liposuction is not just about weight loss, but getting the shape that I never knew I had. Of course I was sore, and after a month felt pretty much back to normal. I started walking right away and I feel like that really helped my healing. “Having been hesitant for over a year to consult with SonoBello- I contacted them after a commercial. My consult with Coleen Duke was so inspiring as I learned so much about the process That I wanted and it could be obtained. My pre op with staff kept my enthusiasm up as Dr Strand made everything make sense. Especially regarding the 3 areas I wanted work on. (My husband sat in so he too understood what I was embarking in.) I was set up for my procedure in a week. I arrived with all the requests and tips I was given at my pre op. Rn Jasmine got me ready for my procedure. I fell asleep..well half asleep as I heard the doctor throughout and felt what was being done but I wasn’t in pain, and when completed I had the maximum allowed taken off my abs and sides.
Post op was with Elizabeth RN. She gave me great info on my continued recovery. Face it you will have pain. Read up on your procedure. Recovery is amazing as the human body does fix itself - for me daily! I know this is a 6-12-14 month plus process to see final results. So now being day 7, I am up and about with minimal pain, (I was up on day 2 but did get tired quickly. ) I saw healing every day and am going back to work after 7 days. I truly am pleased as all appts were spot on and on time. The staff I worked with
Is 110% top notch! Friendly caring knowledgeable beautiful and funny ...as heck! I cannot say enough on how professional and caring they are. “Ladies! The more you know, the more you are empowered! I'm a 30 year old single mother of an 8 year-old boy. I decided to become the best version of myself, with a little help of course! “The staff was great. I was disappointed that my 1st appointment I waited an hour. Then on the day of my procedure I received a call at 6:30 am asking me to come in right away as they had a cancellation. My original time was 9:00. I told them I would take a shower and get on the road. I was just about to leave and received another call saying the 1st appointment just came late and asked that I now not come until 9:30. That 2nd call should have never been made to me. It is nerve wrecking enough going through some thing like this that I have never done only to be jerked around the day of. Also I did not feel like I was given the true information in regards to recovery. I was made to feel like it would be fine to go back to work on Monday when my procedure was Thursday. I was not in any shape to return to work that soon. I would not recommend anyone returning that soon after lipo on your upper and lower stomach along with your waist. I wasn't even off my pain medicine until the following Friday. I am only 12 days post op and still very swollen and uncomfortable so I cannot give a review on my final result yet. At this point I cannot honestly say I would do it again. I felt like I did a lot of research but I was not prepared for the amount of swelling that came along with this. I look and feel 9 months pregnant and I was told my swelling would not make me any bigger than I was before the procedure. That obviously is not true. I was 125lbs with a BMI of 25 at 4'11 the day of my procedure.”

“I saw an ad for Sono Bella on television and called them. I called and talked to them and set up a appointment. I was totally impressed with the consultation appointment as was my fiancee. He was totally supportive of my decision and has been with me every step of the way. I was never made to feel ashamed or embarrassed about the way I had let my body get so out of shape. “The overall experience was quite an adventure. I did not do my due diligence in reviewing the process beforehand and was not prepared with the right questions at the pre-op appointment. I had 7 areas done. That may have contributed to the excruciating pain towards the end of the procedure. I am assuming the local anesthetic was wearing off as the doctor got to my last areas. Also, I have side effects to the anxiety pills they offered prior to the surgery and they did not have the drug I preferred. I was given 2 Xanax, which I'd never had before. Shortly after leaving the facility I had a serious reaction and I ended up in the hospital the next night for observation in case it was a TIA. There was no evidence of a TIA so we are putting the blame on the Xanax. I suggest the facility, at the pre-op appointment, discuss the anxiety drugs to be offered so workarounds can be provided. I am rating my overall experience as a "3" at this time because I am only 2 weeks into recovery. I am seeing positive results but the following months will tell.”

“I still have a lot of what I hope is swelling which I didn't anticipate. The description of the recovery and results was no where near accurate. It sounded like with the laser assistance that in a week or 10 days I'd be 90% done with recovery. Although I didn't use any pain medications this has been pretty painful and has been a very negative affect on my body. Very difficult to do much of anything for 18 days with all the pressure, swelling, discomfort/pain and numbness in the areas treated. Seems like a lot of specifics of the recovery were left out to make the sale. I Hope the end results are positive.”

The Procedure left me with such extreme pain that I wasnt able to go back to work for weeks. Second, the results were basically nothing. They only took out a couple pounds and they did not follow up with me about mainting the weight loss and if I was having any health problems related to the procedure. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I loved how they customized the procedures to my overall needs! The weekly emails, calls and tips helped me to navigate all of the symptoms that popped up post procedure, which put me at ease. I would HIGHLY recommend this team for your contouring needs! I would definitely go back, after I lose the rest of my weight, if needed!
The only thing that wasn't ideal was the sales process, but I HATE to be sold. I came in having done my homework (and having compared other options), so I knew what I wanted and how much I was willing to invest in this process. Because I have high BMI the price was way higher than what was advertised online. Also, they said my weight was higher and my height was shorter than when I had gone to my MD earlier in the week. So, I felt that wasn't accurate and was pushing me into a higher BMI category. However, when I said I would probably wait since I have been losing 10 pounds per month, they told me I would miss out on the sale so it would end up being more. In the end, we were able to work out a price that got me to my target investment range (1/2 of what the price started at) and I was able to get scheduled for a procedure the following week. I would have rated this experience a 5 if the sales process didn't feel so ""used car sales"" like.

Once I am 100% healed, I know that I will love my new look even more. To be completely honest, the recovery process is painful! However, if I would have been able to tolerate the pain meds, I probably wouldn't have experienced so much pain and discomfort, but I was unable to take the pain meds that the surgeon prescribed, so the surgeon had to put me on a less potent pain med and that pain med really only took the edge off. So with that being said, I do not want to discourage anyone from getting this procedure done, because it definitely has amazing results, but I just want to be up front and honest with the recovery process. Just keep in mind, if you can tolerate the pain meds, then you will most likely have a better, more tolerable recovery, than I did. Thank you Sono Bello for the amazing results that I couldn't achieve on my own :-) ”

Because I have high BMI the price was way higher than what was advertised online. Also, they said my weight was higher and my height was shorter than when I had gone to my MD earlier in the week. So, I felt that wasn't accurate and was pushing me into a higher BMI category. However, when I said I would probably wait since I have been losing 10 pounds per month, they told me I would miss out on the sale so it would end up being more. In the end, we were able to work out a price that got me to my target investment range (1/2 of what the price started at) and I was able to get scheduled for a procedure the following week. I would have rated this experience a 5 if the sales process didn't feel so "used car sales" like.

“I have been considering liposuction for quite some time so I went to a few different consults and the worst by far was Sono Bello in Edina. The staff was nice enough but here were the red flags.
1.) I did not actually meet with the surgeon who would be preforming my liposuction. Instead, I met with a sales consultant who is NOT qualified to discuss the procedure and what would be best for my body type. She promised me areas they could treat that other surgeons I met with said wouldn’t be possible. Because where she said I had fat (“any area you can pinch, you have fat that can be liposuctioned”) other surgeons said we’re muscle. But she wouldn’t know this because she is not a surgeon.
2.) There were books in the waiting room with before and after pics that were performed at other locations, but when I asked to see pics from the surgeon who would be performing my procedure, she had none to show me of the body areas I wanted to treat.
3.) When I asked her what the risks involved were, she said that since it would be done under local anesthesia and not general anesthesia, there really would be no risks. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? There are ALWAYS risks involved with ANY procedure!
4.) There was a special promotion that offered 1 free body area if I treat 3 or more. The discount was good for one month. That seemed like high pressure to make a decision. I’m not looking for the best “deal”. I’m looking for the best surgeon and level of care. Another surgeon I saw had one price with no discount, and it was good for 1 year which made me feel way better! It offered a cooling down period to make a decision. And ironically enough, it was cheaper than Sono Bello with their special discount. But the other surgeon I actually got to meet with and spend a considerable amount of time with who is a highly accredited plastic surgeon.
5.) And finally, the reviews! People please, please read the reviews! There are hundreds on several different sites with terrible reviews! Bad results, zero follow up or aftercare when things went wrong, verbal and physical abuse from the surgeons....the list goes on and on.

I did not and would never get my liposuction done at Sono Bello. If I could give it no stars I wouldn’t. Here is my advice to anyone who reads this: if you can’t meet with the surgeon during your consult, and they tell you there are no risks, don’t walk, RUN to the nearest exit and get the hell out of there!! Stay away from Sono Bello!!!!”

I had a 12:00 pm scheduled. This business is in a big building with multiple businesses inside so I would give yourself extra time to park and find the suite. I entered the office at about 12:05 pm and waited until 12:25 pm to be seen. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal except I was on my lunch. The front staff are friendly and the office is very clean. The office looks small in the front but once you enter the back, there's a lot of different offices.

The lady who did my initial consultation was very bubbly and very friendly. I enjoyed hearing about the one day fat removal procedure, how it works, the results etc. She was really personable, friendly, and took time to hear what I've tried to get to where I am now. I really appreciated how genuine she was.

The part that surprised me was the pricing. On the website, they advertise 1395/area. If you are looking to get your whole abdomen done, you are probably looking at your upper (one area), lower (second area), and waist (third area) performed. I'm giving this business a 3 star because I don't like the misinformation - the 1395 is based on your BMI (lowest range). The BMI (which is just your height and weight) determines the price range of an area - from 1395 - 2900+. I feel this information should be accessed prior to the appointment. I initially thought I was looking around a 3k price range but walked out with a quote for 10k+. There's a 2k surgeon fee on top of the areas you'd like treated.”

“I went in for a consult merely to get an idea of what a cost would be like to rid myself of the problem areas. From the first appointment, I was greeted by a friendly staff and consultant, Casi. She was patient with me and answered all of my very skeptical questions. I am 40 years old and suffered with hashimotos thyroid disease for many years and struggled with my weight since I was a young adult. I decided to move forward with the procedure. I had Lipo with sculpting. I met the surgeon who was also extremely informative and I also spent time researching his clinical history because well... it's important. My surgery date came and again the staff was amazing, kept me informed and made sure all things were done per protocol. My surgery was not painful. I felt very well taken of through the procedure. The surgeon called me a few hours later to be sure all was ok and asked if there were any questions. I got another call a couple of days later again with alot of time for questions which was needed. My 1 week follow up was also great and again the staff was spectacular! I now have a few months for total recovery and quite honestly I was absolutely taken away with the results I got from this experience this far. I would do this again and recommend them to family and friends looking for a good experience start to finish!”

“This place is a business that feeds off of you and leaves you high and dry. They say they can help you but won't tell you what's better for your situation. I went to 3 other plastic surgeons and they all dislike sonobello. They get you in with instant financing and then leave you with horrible results. You will still have fat on your body or less than ok results. Your money will go a lot longer somewhere else who cares how you feel about yourself. The place feels colder and unwelcoming when you're in the liposuction procedure. It hurts and feels violent at times. Yes you are awake and feel the numbing shots and the pressure of the cannula. The before and after pictures of my stomach were the same. When I complained they gave me 8 sessions of skin tightening which just feels like a hot metal ironing that never did anything for my skin. I called again twice and left a message for Joy and never received a call. I waited until now to post something to see if my area would improve but nope. “I have waited until my 6 month post op to write this review. I am a very health minded/athletic 45 year old. I went to sonobello to help lose stubborn fat on my middle section and thighs (inner &outer) I did not look bad just needed a little extra help.
As of today I still weigh the same as I did pre- op and my pants size is still the same. I work out regularly and eat healthy and this procedure has done nothing for me except waste my hard earned money. The staff are nice and always positive of results (even if there are none), they have to be. It will be interesting to hear the feedback at my 6 month check, since nothing has changed and I'm done with swelling.
I am very disappointed, I would not recommend especially to those that do not have money to waste.
P.s.-fixing your 'banana roll' is not fat being taken out of your butt (I went there to lose fat, not reassign it), they push fat into your butt. This was never explained to me. I now have issues with my tailbone and cannot sit without pain. Also, keep track of your own measurements from each follow up visit.”

“I consulted with the SonoBello Office in my area. I started my consultation with Casi N. She knew she had an easy commission when she saw me. She made promises that weren't even possible, and mislead me all the way. She said I would be down 2-3 sizes by spring. It is almost a year later, and I am still puffy.Dr. Volk spent very little time with me. Once the procedure was complete, he turns his patients over to his staff, who have zero follow through. I am left with lumps and bumps, and almost zero visual results, even though they claim they did the max. per state guidelines. I was set up for two procedure days, so 10 pounds could be removed each time ( total of 20 pounds). Dr. Volk thought it would be better to get everything done in ONE procedure day, with a net loss of 10 pounds. And yet I paid for 20...”

Rebecca was the first person I met with and she is very knowledgeable and personable! Answered all my questions and concerns. Very warm, welcoming- she gave you honest answers and was efficient with my time.The surgical team Dr. Strand, Jill and Debbie were equally enjoyable to work with. I felt like they took the time to listen to my worries/ issues and were very helpful in their responses. Everyone was notably positive friendly and upbeat throughout all encounters! One encounter worth noting: I was running late to a post op appointment- the time was already late on a work day, I was unsure if they would be able to see me and was willing to reschedule- receptionist transferred me to nurse Debbie to see if I could still be seen. I have tried exercising to get rid of my tire around my waistline and would lose weight but could not get my waistline fat to go away. I made an appointment at Sonobello in Minneapolis and scheduled the liposuction procedure immediately. After the procedure, I went home with very little discomfort and a couple of days later I was amazed at how I felt. The results have been unbelievable! I am so happy I did this procedure. In 2 weeks after the procedure, I lost 3 inches under the breasts, 4 inches from my waistline and 2 across my hips! I lost a total of 5 pounds as well. “I don't feel like I received the results I was told to believe. Initially I was told- it's early, results take time.
From the beginning I have had problems with my ears- fluid stuck- not able to clear- it's been 3 months and I continually have to plug my nose and blow to clear my ears to hear- pretty sure this is not normal- and my right ear is now displaced it hangs out different then it should.
I should have paid the same or more for real surgery not discounted to have this done in an office

I had 9 areas done on my upper body in one session. I only took 2 pain pills the first day and then just tylenol after that. I love how I look already and it has been just over 2 weeks. I've beaten myself up in the gym, competed in grueling athletic endeavors, maintained 1200 calorie diets and still the banana roll would not budge. I guess you just have to be in the right place in your mind to finally say, I've tried everything else, this isn't a fix all for problems in your life but when everything else is in line and your outsides don't match your inside thoughts, then its time to take the leap. I'm today 2 weeks out from thigh and knee sculpting and I have seen such positive results already that I cry. The Dr was truly a sculptor and the 4 lbs of targeted fat that she removed moved me from frumpy to looking athletic and fit, just the look I was after. I never wanted to be skinny. Just better proportioned. More balanced. Now that balance is shows both on my inside AND outside.”

“I really feel Sono Bello is falsely advertising stating they will work with all budgets. I went in for a consultation, and once they reviewed my application showing I was on disability and retirement, it seemed they didnt even bother before turning me down for service and referring me to a noname plastic surgent. I was first annoyed by this incodent, then I realized God only showed me what they were about! little did they know, I had saved money for this service, I had to laugh because I cant trust a company like this, now I will happily pay some worthy company...thank Sono Bello for showing your prejidice up front!!!!
