“I had lipo and skin removal on 2/19/24 and ended up with a HUGE HEMATOMA, The size of a large cantaloupe on the right side of my stomach.
I was told by Dr Hunt there was nothing to be done about it, that I would just have to let it resolve on its own.
It had finally gone down, but now my stomach is lopsided the left is flat, the right side is still protruding out, and there is lumps of hard tissue around the area.”

“My first experience was with Hunt and he was not the best. His demeanor said it all and was one that did not want to service me. He was more focused on the the color and “thickness” of my skin more so than the surgery itself. He asked if I ever had dental work done with numbing and stated if that wore off at a time during that process then I might want to go somewhere else to have my procedure done where they place me under anethesia that’s no localized. Dental and cosmetic are not the same. He kept awkwardly laughing, did not read my chart on what I was to receive and told me he would not do the procedure due to my BP which was elevated during the pre-op or get a letter from my primary stating I was not at risk for high BP and to ok the surgery. My doctor did just that and even still, same results. But most doctors do know about “white coat” BP and never once considered that with the fact I’ve had BP issues and have never received medication. Who wouldn’t have an elevated pressure due to nervousness. Just gave himself an out without having to look a certain way. At that point I refused to proceed with him and requested another doctor. No great or even good communication.
With the other doctor I slightly happy with my results. I’m still bigger on one side, even after a revision and it’s noticeable. I figured I’d go to a different facility not related to Sonobello to have my needs met. It was a subpar experience for me there at Sono. At least the other doctor made up for it to an extent with their “sunny” disposition. All that money to NOT have the results one was seeking. It’s disappointing and as a patient there I felt unheard, not seen, or valued in any way.”

I was in surgery for 4 hours but was in and out of sleep so It felt like it took 30 minutes. I felt discomfort but never any pain. So far I am 2day post op and feel pretty good. I am drinking a gallon of water a day, 6 protein shakes a day, and taking all the supplements and meds they recommended. This surgery was not near as bad as I had anticipated. “Had a great experience today at sono bello. I had 5 areas addressed upper and lower abs, L and R waist and pubic, plus the ABEX skin removal. From the beginning with nurse Audrey who did a great job of explaining the process and Dr Holsey who identified each step of the process before and during surgery. I was awake through the lipo, with no pain, only minimal ‘discomfort’ around the rib area. I did sleep through most of the skin removal although I did wake up enough to see the huge hunk of skin removed (cool to see for me anyway). It’s now 8 hours after surgery and would do it again without hesitation . 1 side note I had lost 70 pounds (intermittent fasting and walking) prior to surgery so did have some saggy skin I recommend Sono Bello and Dr Holsey.”

“First appointment I was really nervous about the procedure. Then I talked to the nurses and they basically told me they either had it done or listened to other patients stories. So I relaxed a little more. Day of the procedure the nurses & doctor talked everything over with me again. They listened to all my questions I asked. Told me areas they would work on. I really liked when I was getting prepped in the operating room just the simplest things that they were doing step by step. They played relaxing music & the doctor would tell me step by step what she was doing. Whenever I was in recovering room another nurse explained step by step of home care, when I can bath, even the time I needed next med. Explained the pamphlet to me & my boyfriend but I kept falling asleep. She even helped dress me & explained how long I wear the garment. Also the care of the compression garment that it could be washed but not to dry in a dryer due to shrinking. They were all friendly at Sona Bello.”

Cuz I just haven't had any pain but a slight pain the night I got home, sec day all that was needed was ibuprofen.
My second stage which is in September which I think the perfect day would be on my birthday, the 22nd. The second stage will be the rest of the liposuction, and skin removal What a great birthday present it's going to be.

“Christmas present for myself had appointment on 1st of Dec. I give anyone 1 hour and 55 minutes past my scheduled time the lady shows up and tells me she is running late, I responded "Yes you are!" I guess I was supposed to tell her it's OK to waste an hour of my life while you..finish your Xmas shopping? Wish I would have left. I told her I wanted the "bra" rolls, those rolls of fat on your back just under your bra, my abdomen & the fat pods on the top, outside of my thigh lipoed. She added it all up and I paid $10K.
Pre-op Dec. 18. The nurse says I may not be able to understand the DR as English is his 2nd language. I asked if he is board certified and she assured me yes but quickly stated he was voted DR of the month by the other DR's. Who cares. I saw no documentation or degrees for any DR's that you normally see posted in exam rooms. She said this room gets really hot. I asked "Then why are you putting me in here?" She said it was the only one available. Oh good! I'm trapped in this oven and she informs me the DR will be late. These people are so disrespectful. Their time is valuable but yours is not!! If I hadn't paid up front I think I would have left. He says he cannot do the main thing I asked and paid for, the bra roll because the results will not be good, he will do hips instead and I can "massage" the bra roll away. Wow?!? Really? Massage fat away?
I was having a friend drop me off and pick me up for surgery. From the exam room to the front desk the time of the surgery changed from 9:45 to 9:30. Then they called me at home and asked if I could come in at 6AM. No I can't! Told them I will be there at 9:30 then the night before surgery I got a text saying see you at 8:15. I was coming from out of town relying on a friend. Inconsiderate, incompetent, rude! I had to keep calling my friend to reschedule the time.
I was instructed to take a 10 mil hydrocodone that I use for for hip issues, Alprazolam and Promethazine the morning of. I thought I would be sedated but these were the only meds I received for the surgery. Absolute agony. I felt every stroke! About 3 strokes in under the skin of my abdomen this supposed lipo DR rams the cannula into my rib. My body tried to double over and he said loudly "Do I need to cancel this surgery!?" A nurse or assistant said "You hit her rib!" This guy does this for a living and can't feel that he just slammed into my rib? If I made any sound or took a deep breath he continued to threaten "Do I need to cancel this?" After doing my right hip and thigh he told me to roll over on my side, he can't be bothered to stand up or come around to the other side of the table. If you are on your back the fat is presenting differently than when you are on your side and the fat spreads out and flattens. This would explain why the right side is significantly smaller although it has 2 deep grooves sucked into the fat and on the left side where I was lying on my right side there is no visible fat reduction. There are also deep gouges across my abdomen and I now have 1 hip that is straight up and down with two distinct gouges and 1 hip that is round and "normal."
I was looking into Sono Bello and noticed there are some female DRs. If I had known that I would have requested a woman. Still I saw no degrees or certifications for any DR's in any of the rooms.
If I had a big flap of skin and fat hanging off my body like in the commercial I would be so over joyed to have that removed I would feel that it was a 5 star experience. I thought I would have a DR that would sculpt the fat evenly but that was definitely not what happened. I know there have been women who past away from having too much fat removed during liposuction years ago and NOT at Sono Bello as a result these DR's have decided to err on the side of less fat removal so there will be no more than a pound or 2 of weight loss. If I could do this over I would go to a DR whose name is on the practice and whose credentials are on their walls not some" fast food" surgery center like Son Bello and do Cool Sculpting or Ozempic.”

During my pre-op visit, everyone was so kind and there was no judgement with how my body looked. Dr. Holsey explained what to expect and how to prepare for my upcoming procedure. I didn’t feel rushed. My questions that I had at that time, were answered. I was given the necessary paperwork as well as the meds needed to be prepared for my procedure. “My abex procedure was today with tummy tuck.! It took about 3 hours that went by fast. I was not nervous at all and very comfortable. We had 70s rock music playing, my choice in the operating room. We literally were singing and laughing. I didn’t feel hardly anything and what I did feel was a small twinge and over soon. I actually had a relaxing time, believe it or not. “Had abdominal areas done on 10/19 I can see a difference already!! I know I will be happy with results when the healing is complete. However, I would like to warn others, this is not an easy procedure. It is very painful. When you have dental you generally feel little once the operation starts. THIS IS NOT LIKE THAT!! It is painful during the entire process. It feels after word the same why my c-sections felt except it was all over my abdominal area. So if you are considering this be certain you can endure the pain. Because they do not tell you how painful it will be. Other than that you will be happy with your results.”

While this procedure is not totally pain free (and I cannot imagine anyone thinking it would be!), at no time was it unbearable, much less excruciating. Anytime I said anything, moaned or grimaced, something was done to assist in decreasing the pain. I even fell asleep during the last parts of the procedure. If you need this procedure, save up for it and get it performed. Sono Bello personnel were so welcoming from the evaluation visit on Tulsa through the procedure. I expect the same care throughout all my post-op visits.”

“I had my surgery today 7/28/2023. I had liposuction on my upper and lower abs, waist, hips and the AbEx skin removal. Maykayla my nurse was super friendly and professional. Dr Hunt is so awesome. Professional, friendly, and he made me feel comfortable with the procedure.We laughed at lot during the procedure. I was there like 4 hours but it felt like so much less than that. The atmosphere during the surgery was actually fun there was great music playing. Dr Hunt knew all of the lyrics to the songs and he sung a lot which was awesome. For me there was no pain during the process which was great. I am 3 hours after the procedure and everything is going fine, no pain yet. So I would definitely recommend Sonobello to anyone. And 100% recommend Dr Hunt!

“Well, first off I was very anxious and nervous about my procedure. Woke up 2-4 time in the middle of the night just with anticipation.
I told Makayla about my anxiety and she opened herself up with her pregnancy, which immediately took my mind elsewhere, as I’ve had 2 boys and babysit regularly. She couldn't find my vein and had to poke me 3 times to find a good tap. I’m been told it’s hard to get my veins by other nurses.
Dr. Hunt asked what kind of music I liked and played that in the background. I asked for a stress ball to focus on and squeeze throughout my procedure. They both made the whole procedure as easy as possible with conversation and answered all my tangent rambling questions! It really went as well as it could have - thanks to those two 🙏”

“I had an amazing experience with Sono Bello. I started out in Tulsa but had my procedure in OKC. The staff at both places was amazing as they walked me through every step of the way. On any concern I had they were able to put my mind at ease. They were just excited in my journey as I was.
I had my upper and lower stomach , waist, front and back bra roll areas and chin done. I am 53 years old so I did not expect to come out like I was in my 20's. My results were beyond my expectations and I am very happy I made this choice. You need to be real with your expectations because not everyone's skin goes back the same. Do I look like I am in my 20's? No, but I feel like it! I am amazed how just taking the extra fat especially around the stomach area how my back feels so much better. Does it hurt you ask? Not gonna lie it was not a cake walk but I will say it did not hurt so bad that I would not do it again. I absolutely would! Childbirth is painful but we still have kids. Does it cost alot you ask? I expected more, it's not cheap but it's not as expensive as I thought. Don't let your fears stop you from making the best decision for you. Not only will you love your results but your body will thank you for it. Don't take my word for it I am just a satisfied customer, a stranger to you but if you are not happy with your appearance and want a change then do it and stop letting your fears and excuses get in your way. Your not getting any younger each day that goes by is a day older and a day wasted. It's time for you to be happy and only you can make the change.

“I have suffered with severe lower back pain for over 40 years. Having disks remove, neurological stimulator placed onto my spine, narcotic pain medication, muscle relaxers, of every kind. Taking these caused me to eventually placed into the hospital with acute pancreatitis, my liver inflamed and beginning to shut down. I became obese the majority hanging on my abdomen. I came to see Dr. Hunt to seek help. He removed the overhang and tightened and removed excess skin. I am now pain free in my lower back. He gave my life back to me. I rarely sit down, I am able to go take care of my household duties, grocery, errands. I love flowers and being outside to enjoy for the first time in many years to garden. I feel I’ve been set free into life again. I can never express my gratitude to him for what a blessing he has given me. His nurses and staff are his Angels supporting Dr. Hunt and the kindness and compassion they give to all of his patients. I am more blessed than I deserve. Next week I will be having procedures to tighten and removed extra skin on my back. He will also be doing a procedure to pull my waist back into place. I can’t tell anyone completely how blessed they would be placing their care into these capable hands. I would place myself under the care for my health needs without hesitation.

“I’m a week out after having Trisculpt & AbEX and surprisingly I really feel better than I thought I would! I’m still slightly swollen but trying not to rush things although I’m anxious for results. I can already tell my waistline is more contoured! I’ve waited a long time to do this because of fear but as I’ve aged, in my 50’s, menopause hit, I exercise 3 - 4 times a week, nothing worked off the extra skin or handles. I feel good and I wanted my body to look like I feel if that makes sense. I wanted to take care of me and I wasn’t doing it for anyone else. “Pre-op was easy and not stressful. The one piece of information I would like to have had was the pre-op preparation information. I received this the day before my proceedure. In this information it is stated to follow certain steps that begin 48hrs before you proceedure. I am a proactive person and want to do all I can to help my body come through this procedure well. This is why I give 4.5 stars for pre-op.
On the employee and doctor relation with myself I get five stars. Every person explained any question I had and more. I was very treated well and and my procedure came and went excellently. I recommend the OKC Sonobello facility.

“Michelle was my consultant. She was so helpful and quick to get back to me about all my questions. I had my procedure yesterday afternoon. Dr. Holsey (extremely happy she was my doctor) and her nurses Hannah (truly amazing) and Kortney and Bailey were all tremendous and took amazing care of me. I had my procedures yesterday afternoon for waist, upper/lower tummy, pubis, back/bra roll and AbEX. Procedures went very well and nearly pain free if you counts the needle sticks for numbing the areas which were still very tolerable. I pretty much slept during AbEX. I believe being awake is the way to go for sure! I enjoyed the sing a longs and conversations and the positive energy for the afternoon. Over all OKC Sono Bello is the best way to go. From the time I arrived and until hubby picked me up was awesome. I totally recommend Dr. Holsey with great bedside manner and positivity and skills and her caring nurses. So looking forward to post op visit next week. Thanks OKC sono Bello.”

Worst experience of my life and I wish I had never wasted the money. Said they couldn't even do what they charged for. Wanted to leave but Dr insisted I just need more Xanax. No anesthesiologists but charged for one. Terrible experience and total waste of money permanent damage to stomach muscles too”
