“So I show up for my Venus appointment at the scheduled time, mind you I did it 3 months in advance, and the receptionist says you were supposed to be here 15 mins ago. I’m puzzled, my life rotates around my calendar. As I’m trying not to blow my top I decide to pull up my confirmation emails just to make sure I wasn’t the one that messed up. I didn’t! They changed my time and didn’t bother to call me to see if I could even come earlier. Which I couldn’t. This procedure is all of 20 mins and I drove over an hour to get here. Now they are telling me I can’t be seen. I’ll give it to the receptionist because she did call and ask a few clients to give up their time for a later date but now I have to sit here for 2 hours to be seen. Good thing I didn’t have anything planned for after my appt.”

“HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!! I live over an hour away from the Raleigh office. On my way to Raleigh, I received a text confirming my appointment for today at 11:15.
The appt was never for 11:15. I called Sonobello to confirm the 9:45 appt not 11:15. I was told I didn't have an appt for 9:15. Clearly I did hence the email and text message confirmations I received.
How can I be told I don't have a 9:45 appt when I received confirmations for that appointment?
Obviously the people working for this company are incompetent.
If their people have trouble with simply making an appointment which doesn't take a rocket scientist to do, clearly the staff aren't capable of performing any procedures.
It scares me to think what may have happened to me if I elected for any of the procedures they offer.
I HIGHLY do not recommend!!”

“I’m changing my star from 5 to 1. I live over an hour away from the facility and I was 5 minutes outside of the late grace period due to traffic that was beyond my control and they made me reschedule. The receptionist stated that they were overbooked for the day yet there was no one in the waiting area and I could hear the staff in the back having casual conversations. I feel that once they receive their money you no longer matter. I would have felt better if their waiting room was packed but the fact that there was not one person there and they refused to see me after being 5 minutes late was very disappointing and I will not be returning for my appointment nor will I recommend this facility.”

“I wrote this review before but the staff contacted me and pretty much begged me to remove it. Sending me gift cards, promising me they will fix it. Promising all things, but delivering nothing. Well here I sit almost a year later with no remedy. The surgeon botched my thighs. They have huge sunken areas that can only be fixed by fat grafting, which they are not trained to do. My back was not completely done and my side wasn't touched. I paid for both. I have requested a refund but Abby has only offered a small amount. The amount won't even cover what I paid for my legs to begin with, much less my back and sides. I have gone around and around with her about the unprofessionalism that the Raleigh office manager offers. I tried contact the office manager so many times with no response. Abby is very nice but nice doesn't fix my legs. I went back so they could complete the area they didn't do to begin with and they wouldn't do it. They said I was 2lbs from my original surgery date. I was measured by my PCP and I am actually smaller since I was working out. Muscle weighs more than fat so I'm confused. I was told to work out and now you are telling me not to work out because it makes me weigh more??? They can spin it however they want but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My legs look horrible and incision on my stomach looks like a 5 year old cut it. This was confirmed by one of their other doctors that agreed with me. Sad when your own doctor agrees with the patient but your office is trying to get out of fixing your mistake. I will be more than happy to share pictures with anyone that wants to reach out privately. Before letting them work on you please reach out to me to see them. Please. I have begged to settle this and let me get my legs and sides/back fixed but they refuse only offering me less than one leg amount back. DON'T GET ANY WORK TO YOUR BODY FROM HERE!!!!!”

“My experience in the beginning of my journey was good staff was extremely amazing (in the beginning) however as for at the end my visit on 8/11/23 was horrible.. the best side manner for nurse as well as doctor was outrageous 😡. I came back for my result due to not being happy with it. And the response of both doctor and nurse on how they talked to me was unacceptable.. Doctor stated to me that he couldn’t do anything else and if he did I would look like I have cancer.. Nurse stated that in order to get what I want I need to exercise because it shows that I’m not exercising and anyone in the medical field can tell it’s just my results are coming from lack of exercise.. “First of all, this is my own experience, not anyone else's. I am on my way to being 2 weeks post op, still do not really see a difference. Initially I thought I did but I seem to still look the same. Going back to the day of the procedure they give you a little cup of pills for pain and anxiety that makes you loopy. Its local anesthesia so they just use lidocaine to numb you and being 100% honest I felt so much pain during the procedure. Their website says that you don't feel pain but I absolutely felt pain and you cant move because the dr. tells you not to. It felt like torture...I would never do that again. 10000% would prefer having general anesthesia. Also, I dont think its best that you dont have any drains because you have so much fluid in you still. They also made it seem like its just so easy and you do the procedure and then you're back to normal....no.....it is surgery and there is nothing easy or simple about that. Not to mention they barely give you enough meds for pain after you leave. My recommendation: go to a normal surgeon where you will get everything that you need and not be tortured and you'll probably spend a lot less money. Oh and if you do end up coming here the Venus treatments are booked months out so book yours right away.”

Dr . Smith made this a very comfortable experience. He is so knowledgeable , calm and strait to the point . His assistant nurse didn’t miss a vein when putting my IV in . She is very good.
During the procedure, I was half out of my wits from sedation, and it got a little uncomfortable pain wise. It was not unbearable, only in sensitive spots. The Dr. put classic rock to level out the vibe. Dr. Smith even sang along with me and I shared some music stories with him. This helped me focus on something else rather than the procedure . I mean how cool is that !!!!
Eventually, I fell asleep , and before I knew it - the procedure was done .
I can’t wait to see my results.
I will be back for some more work .
I won’t consider any other place , this was by far the coolest medical experience I ever had . They go great lengths to make sure you are comfortable .
If you are considering Sono Bello in Raleigh- I can tell you that you won’t regret it !”

The nurses I had day of surgery were amazing but the follow up nurse I had that was traveling was horrible. She never ordered my garment. Didn't know how to measure me. I showed her my leg which looked very weird and she just brushed it off. I had stitches that came out and made my skin turn inside out on my stomach and she just said it would heal. It did but now it is a horrible scar. The biggest issue I have is that I paid for my upper back and it wasn't done. I have requested a refund but have not received one as of yet. I requested them to redo the surgery but for some reason consults with a surgeon for a redo is pushed back months at a time but I can get a consult for a new patient tomorrow. Weird how that works. Once they get your money they don't care. Attorney will have to handle from this point forward. Do not go there.”

I drove for almost 2hours to get to the location because they wouldn't offer a virtual consultation, im a new mom and i wasted time and effort without my baby to do this, they made me wait 30mnts although i came 15mnts early as they requested.the visit was briefly a few minutes of her just telling me chin liposuction would cost between 5k to 7k which she could have done easily through the phone or virtual consultation.They have drastically changed their prices since 2021 and other doctors and clinics have better prices, the therapist barely gave me the time a day I felt rushed and brushed off. Procedure was done and advance notice of a high tolerance to pain meds was provided yet the Dr's didn't listen and it turned out to be excruciating pain, worse than anything ever felt. Pain meds were not called in in advance and then it took several hours the day of and after the procedure to get the office to actually get them called in, despite then saying to take them with in thr hour. Update: They ask you to leave a review after initial consultation. Since my procedure, I am not happy! I went in for a revision and was told by the first doctor there was nothing more that could be done and recommended a refund. They said they don’t give post op refunds and set me up with a second doctor who said he could do a little something, but the results would be minimal.. that I might not see any changes again! So I have since turned that down, because I wasn’t feeling good about that! Since then, I have been getting tons of calls and emails to get me in, with them knowing I have things going on that prevent this! Again, I was already feeling some type of way, but their persistence to rush me through this screams red flag to me! I’m really hoping to get some or all my money back. I plan to explore other avenues if my demands won’t be met! Some people have amazing results and some get botched! You are a number here.. I just say to do your research first!

Then the staples were so stuck in my skin I had a great deal of pain removing then.
I suffered from depression right after this procedure, couldn’t hardly breath,had to sleep sitting up. I would never recommend this place. The doctor who did my procedure were so cold on my check ups. I had to fight for him to see me. Front desk always messed up on my schedule
Always one blaming the other and no one taking responsibility for their faults.

“From the night before my procedure I felt the clinic was in tune with me as a patient. Doreen was reviewing my chart and realized I had an allergy to tape and she made sure to call to make sure it was noted correctly in my chart.
When I got there on procedure day everyone was wonderful. They put my mind to ease and made sure to tell me how the process was going to go.

“I absolutely loved everything about my experience. I work in the hospital so it is hard to get time away with my busy schedule. However, my doctor who was Dr. K. Jones and staff worked with me to make sure I was able to get my procedure done. I was scared and nervous but they were patient with me through it all. I got the Lipo 360 procedure done. Dr. Jones was too tier and very personable. She felt my struggle of being a petite girl with a pooch just hanging arounf for years no matter what workout or diet I did, I just could not get rid of my lower pooch. Dr. Jones bed side manners were amazing I honestly remember walking in the OR room and saying I’m scared and woke up to everything completed, soooo I guess you can say I was comfortable through it all. I’m shy of two weeks after procedure and feel great especially after texting with Dr. Jones and getting a Lymphatic massage. The lymphatic massage made me feel normal. To describe the discomfort.. it felt like I did an intense ab work out and was just sore. I have recommended Dr. Jones to my friends and family. I cant wait to see me at 3 months! This is the ONLY reason for the 1 star. On the other hand, Dr. Kimberly Jones is HORRIBLE!!!!!! The ABSOLUTE WORST bedside manner! Doesn't care if you're in pain, just keep working with a dose of chastising. Allows random men to walk in during surgery and carry on a casual conversation as if you are the water cooler or some other inanimate object. No apology whatsoever for invasion of your privacy. No follow up call after surgery until days later AFTER I called to tell them I'm alive! RUN Forest, RUN! If you decide allow Dr. Jones to operate and you have a great experience with her, I'm positive its due to the fact that she had been humbled. I decided to speak up for myself and future patients to the local manager and the corporate office about her patient treatment. I only wish I was privy to information from others BEFORE my surgery that Dr. Jones' bedside manner is QUESTIONABLE. It doesn't matter if her results are good, if she treats you like road kill.”

“Dr. Jones and her nurses had EXCELLENT bedside manner and I am so happy with my results after one week. I still have some swelling and I am still happy bc I know this is a process. I tried to add my neck and Dr. Jones told me, “ you could give me the extra money if you want to but you don’t need that.” She was right and she recommended a derma roller for under my chin. We have the CM-Amanda, the PM-Tracilea and the APM-Elizabeth. “My consultation visit with Victoria Z was great in the beginning. I told her i wanted multiple things done but due to pricing we scale so things down. I waited a week before I reached out to her to let her know that i wanted to go ahead and get my upper abd, lower abd and my waist done. I also had the skin removal removed because I felt like I might not need it. I called to speak to her about my procedure he didn’t answer, i end up sending her emails which she replied days after, i had to continuously send her emails for her to respond. I also let her know if she’s busy she can just pass me off to someone else. I was getting frustrated with the communication between Victoria and i so i called the office and asked for another consultant they told me no i would have to just deal with Victoria.So when I did my consultation with Victoria she gave me one quote, then when i emailed her telling her i wanted to go ahead with the procedure she gave me a different quote. I found the first quote she gave me and sent it to her and she said oh the quote is based on your BMI so i let her know that my BMI hasn’t changed since my last visit. I also sent her my best friend quote because we have the same BMI and she also got that quote. I was upset because these are the quotes you gave me and i felt like she should have honored that because i have the documentation to prove that. My weight before my surgery was 164lbs so my price for my surgery needs to be adjusted based on my BMI.These procedures aren’t cheap especially when you’re paying out of pocket. Her communication could have been a lot better. She also had another consultant reach out to me, i would have much rather dealt with her. I felt ignored. Fast forward to my pre-op with Dr Jones that went well she was very nice and informative, the nurse that was working with her was also very helpful. The nurse explained everything very throughly. Dr Jones let me know that she thinks i need the skin removal because i will have some extra skin. I asked her the pricing and she told me to reach out to Victoria and they tried to have her talk to me while i was there but again she was busy. I followed up with an email on December 17th in which she still hasn’t gotten back to me. My surgery’s was also moved up to the 6th because Dr Jones was unavailable on the 7th. i was told to arrive at 7:45 on the 6th. When i arrived it was no one to greet me at the front desk. They again asked me about the skin removal before my surgery which was on January the 6th i let the nurse know that Victoria still didn’t reach out to me so just go ahead with what i had already paid for. The procedure when well Dr Jones and her nurse was awesome they took good care of me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone very poor communication skills. If i have any future work done I’ll try another location.”

“I am editing my review. First of all, they have you fill out the review form online before you even have the procedure. That should’ve been enough for me to question the whole thing. After I had the procedure, I was out of work for a week. I ended up with phlebitis in my arm for weeks from where they stuck me. Sometimes I didn’t get the products that I was supposed to get at a certain visit, it would be the next visit when the nurse would ask if I was using it, & I’d have a blank look on my face because I had no idea what she was talking about. I looked great in the beginning. I ate right, exercised, drank water. During this time I was also put on a medication that made me gain weight. As soon as I found out that was the problem, I stopped taking it immediately. When I went back for my 6 month revision because I want the revision done, I explained this to the dr. She looked at my stomach & told me that she didn’t think there was enough fat to get out anymore. Although I have seen before & after pictures that Sono Bello has posted of women whose stomachs look just like mine does now & were ok’d for their FIRST procedure. I was told that day that an office manger would call me in 24 to 48 hours. I’ve given them weeks, calling at different times & the office manager always seems to go into a meeting as soon as I call. I emailed her today & she still refuses to respond. Although in their own paperwork it says the “chief medical officer” has the final say. Not sure how an office manager can make that decision on whether you get the revision or not. But that’s not the worst part. I have a family member that signed up as well. We were told that her primary dr gave the ok for her to do all this. She found out that her dr never received paperwork from Sono Bello. Her dr also told her absolutely not, she should not do the procedure due to her medical issues. They either forged it or just claimed that they got it. I also called my primary dr as well. They have nothing in my file from Sono Bello. They had to refund my family member the entire $10,000 that she had paid. And they say that once you pay, that’s pretty much it. No refunds. If they did nothing wrong, she wouldn’t have gotten that refund. I would like to be granted my revision. But with everything we’ve dealt with, it’s scary enough to make you think twice.”

The turn over at this site is unbelievable! I requested my records 2 weeks post-op, which took 5 mos to get. I was sent someone elses pics, but most of my info. No one tells you that you will only see a "doctor" the one time - at time of procedure and no more. THIS IS A MEAT MARKET! I had to seek care & counseling after this. My "nurse" left me on the table with an IV starter in each arm, which is yet to be explained and was of very little assistance to me, as I was under anesthesia. I could've fallen or anything. I could go further, but not enough space. DON'T DO IT. Thank God for my safety and my life because more went wrong than right. Not pleased! I would not do this again, not with them.”

Nobody reached out to see if I had received my prescriptions or my garment and here I am 5 days after my surgery and still no garment so again I had to be the one to call and see what's going on with what was suppose to be provided to me for my recovery. I personally do not feel they even care about my recovery because as I said they do not communicate with the patients to even make sure they have received anything for their recovery. So if you choose this location for your procedure just be prepared to stay on top of things your own self because they will not.”

“Had a schedule appointment on Saturday 06/12/21 that I had been waiting for, for 3 weeks. Traveling an 1 hour and 15 minuets away I arrived at the my scheduled appointment at the time scheduled only to be told by the receptionist that there was only 1 tech available today. There was already a patient currently being interviewed for her consult and another one in the waiting room ahead of me and they didn't know how long it be before I could be seen. Now mind you I do not live in the Raleigh area and traveled 1hour and 15 min to for my scheduled appointment that I was never attended due to no one having the common courtesy to pick up the phone and call to see if I would like to reschedule due to employee shortage. The was a major inconvenience and a waste of my time and gas, as well as a lack of respect for my time. For a first time would be patient Sono Bello, Raleigh NC has left a bad taste in my mouth, this office is very unprofessional. Contacted practice manager Shannon Scott on Tuesday who was supposed to contact on Monday ( she never did) only to be told that she was busy. Wow really!! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION.

“I was super hesitant about spending so much $ on procedures I could “fix” myself. After me saying that for 15 years... 5 kids later, I realized it was never going to happen. Dr. Jones did the first 1/2 of my procedures. Trisculpt EX, upper and lower abs, hips and waist. I was an emotional wreck after thinking OMG what did I do to myself! Then a week went by, and now 1 month. The results I got are incredible. Dr. Jones is so good at contouring and knowing exactly what areas to focus on and take care of... while still looking natural. I go for my thighs and knees in 2 days. If it weren’t for her, and me knowing what results she will strive to give me... I wouldn’t be going in again. Do your research, it’s not an easy procedure to recover from, but I assure you after you get past the first week... it’s all worth it. After 45 min of being there i went to the front desk. The front desk said yes sorry they are running a little late. However after a hour after my appointment was supposed to start i was still in the waiting room. I understand running late. Although it would be nice to know up front when you arrive at a office that they are running late in case you would like to reschedule. A simple upfront notice would be nice. Even though over a hour late is unexceptionable especially for a consult. I will be going else where.”

“My experience at this location was bad. I was all drugged up and marked up, ready to go in the operating room, but the machine was dropped and broken. So I was told I needed to reschedule.
Which at this time I just want my refund of 14k I paid. Other things went wrong also, first I was scheduled for 21st of July to have pre-op and I had to call to verify the time. When I went in they told me my procedure was for August 23rd. Which is on a Sunday. They don't open on Sundays. I told them to verify as I was given papers with the date of July 23rd. Secondly I went to my Pharmacy and my prescriptions was never sent. So on the day of surgery, I had to stop by the pharmacy before going in. When I was in I was given papers to sign saying the total was $14,194 when the quoted price was about $13,200. When getting my Ivy, I was needled 3 times. I don't want to reschedule as for work I have already asked for days off and it will be difficult for me to get more days off. My hubby also lost his day of work because he was my driver. I am supper upset to the point of crying, because I was all ready to go. I understand things happen and I appreciated the nurse being understanding and nice, but I am hoping being for the inconsistency, I have no issues getting my 14k refunded.”
