I love this crew, Irvin at the front desk is so pleasant and accommodating. Alex the assistant practice manager is on point and answers all concerning questions. Nurse Norma is a delight, so down home, and comfortable, made me feel at ease. Dr. Sewell is the best! Very friendly, attentive and knows what he is doing. When I said ouch, he apologized; that meant something to me. Nurse Tia was in the room with me, played my favorite music, dressed and wheeled me out. All of the team was very professional, accomodating and tried at best to ease my nervousness. I would recommend the Richmond practice of Sonobello to anyone. I'm eager to see my results.

I give Solo Bella a five plus stars ,because of Irein and Alexa then both go Beyond the call of duty . They both answer all questions that is ask. Both of them are a people person. They make you feel real relax, telling you what’s going to happen They make you feel like they knew you personally . Both of them are a great access to this company. They have the most beautiful smile and outstanding customer service / personality. And they are a people  person. People like I that was scared when I started out but now thanks to them and Sono Bella i’ve lost some weight. I look better. I act different and I’m ready to take the world on. After being married for 33 years and became a Widow . It’s only one thing that I am not satisfied with, and that’s having lumps up under where my surgery is, but I plan to get that taken care of with Sono Bella also. “Just finished my 5th Venus treatment and I can definitely feel the difference in my recovery. Specifically with getting the feeling back in my stomach area.  When you get the surgery your nerves are out to sleep and they take a long time to wake up lol.  If your  on The fence about adding  the treatments, do it!  Danielle is the best! She gives great advice and tips on things you can do at home! Makes your recovery so much better! 

I wish I could say that I am 100% satisfied with my Abiex results, but what I can say is that it takes a lot of patience! It’s not an I overnight thing or even a 3 month thing.  The Richmond staff are really helpful and nice to work with. They want to make you happy and listen to you when you have concerns. I am giving it 3 more months and then I will decide if I can give them and the surgery a raving review. I think it also depends on your body type as well.

One area of improvement, in my opinion,  is to have the doctors more involved during recovery. I  have yet to see mine since I had surgery.  That’s not good business in my opinion. Especially because this journey is not cheap and I would like to address concerns with the Dr who did the work. The nurses are great, but it’s not the same peace of mind as being able to speak with the Dr at all points on my journey. 

Lastly, I get asked if I regret getting the ABiex done….absolutely NOT!! Best thing I have ever done for myself  and I am super happy with the service I get from the Richmond VA Team!  I have lost 30 ibs and gone down 4 pant sizes in 9 months. ”

“I recently had a procedure at SonoBello. As a Healthcare provider myself, for 34 years, I am very much in tune with not only the care that I would receive, but my surroundings, cleanliness and how up to date the whole office and experience was going to be.

From the minute I walked in the office I was pleasantly surprised. It was 6:15 am, and because it was only 25 degrees outside, I had brought a fleece blanket with me, worried I'd be cold the entire time I'd be there.
The office was toasty warm and the two people at the desk were smiling and calm
Immediately my two nurses came with huge smiles and swept me away to the office which was to be my home for the morning.
They were RN's Charlie a very nice tall young breath of loveliness who wrapped me in her arms telling me she would be taking care of me today, along with tiny little Beatrice, whom I believe she was in training. Obviously Beatrice knew her stuff, but maybe new to the office. Immediately I felt safe and taken care of as Charlie gave me instructions as to changing into my new outfit for the day. And a nice wRm cloth gown over everything. Good, no per gowns here.After they left to let me change, I quickly changed then ran my fingers along the counters and objects around the room. Not a sign of dust anywhere.
The nurses came back in, quickly took my blood as they explained the upcoming procedure, Sked if I understood, had questions . One of them was always either holding my hand, or gently had their hand on my shoulder, soothing me. I was so relaxed.
Soon Dr Sewell came in Sat on the stool , came closer to me and asked me if I had questions. If I was worried or concerned. I just asked about aftercare. He explained everything twice. He was wonderful. The RN"s were both there in case he needed anything.
He then marked me all up as i nervously chatted about the years I worked at MCV. He wss there just after Ieft.

In a pinch I was on the table in the OR, and everyone in there was so nice telling me move this way, then thatway. I never felt a thing and there was laughing and chatter all around. It was so fast. And before i knew it it was time to get off the table, go back to .my little room, still warm and cozy, get all my instructions and go.

I was so nervous for no reason.
It was the easiest, and pleasant morning I've ever spent in the OR. And I've had 2 hip replacements, and OV CA. So I'm familiar with the inside of the hospital.
I Would recommend SonoBello to anyone for any kind of elective surgery.And my RN's Charlie and Beatrice I give 5 stars for excellent work, compassion, patience and just being kind.

“Just left my last “official appt” 6mos post opp. Alexis was a warm welcome considering this was my first appt at the Richmond location. My surgery was in June and they didn’t open till early August 😑 I def expressed how that was so out the way when I could’ve been in the city this WHILE time. My surgery was done at Tysons Corner.. but anyways yes Alexis was awesome. The clerical staff not so much but she could’ve jus been in training mode assisting a new coworker. The facilities were nice (great decor) nd clean because of its newness. Tysons Corner was too but I would’ve def been happier with a closer journey. It is on the 3rd floor which I wonder how on surgery day patients would be taken out to be put in the car but.. I will be hopefully goin back for Venus Legacy (fingers crossed). I am not sure about the surgeons, I do know they go to selective locations so if you want a certain one they may not work at the Richmond Location! ”

“Wanted to start my 50 and still FABULOUS task, and ditch the Häagen-Dazs and Nutella leftovers on my mid section. So, I went to consultation, painless, and very friendly. It's a tad embarrassing bc, well, you expose your uncomfortable zone to a total stranger, but you're quickly reassured that you are not there to be judged, but to make it so you won't be embarrassed again exposing that aera.I did not plan on signing up for anything, I was only there for a consultation, nothing else, but things went so smoothly, I ended up agreeing to the laser fat removal procedure. Financing was a snap, nothing to it. Pre-op was in Norfolk (I'm in Richmond) , and 2 weeks later, I was in the surgery center in Norfolk for the procedure.
That was yesterday...yes, YESTERDAY.
I did not want the skin removal, only fat removal. The physician is VERY forthcoming, knowledgeable, attentive and answers all questions you could possibly have. I have to tell you I have a scar in the middle of my chest area, it goes from top of rib cage, to bottom of bellybutton. I am mentioning this, bc as the removal took place, that was THE only area very painful to me. I cried like a baby (seriously)...the poor nurse had to wipe my snot nose (pardon). But even whilst there, in that very sensitive area, the Docors were VERY supportive, telling me when it will be over, or that it's only a little longer...omg that really hurt though...but again, this was NOT because they did something wrong, it's because I already had a scar there which naturally had scar tissue around it. The doctors comforted me, which I think made me boo-hoo a little more,.🤭, but overall, I will say it is a very straight forward, no guesswork procedure. You will leak like a faucet day and night 1, so put a towel and puppy pee pads on your bed. You will need to buy extra absorbing feminine pads, and get you some mecial tape, bc you'll be changing pads quite frequently....and Gents, that goes for you too, you will need them, so ask at your pre-op which are best to buy, and don't be embarrassed at the store, just use the self checkout 😉
It is now precisely 24 hours since my procedure, and I feel sore...like really SORE...but the kind of sore you get from working out....I feel as if I had to do 2000 situps yesterday, 🤣 other than that, drink lots of water, use the meds as prescribed and reach out to the doctor direct (he will give you his cell number) if anything is out of whack. I have ZERO complaints about Sono Bello Richmond....I only wish the OP was also in Richmond. Instead of Norfolk and up north near DC...so, I am suggesting to the Folks at Sono Bello to consider opening a procedure center here in Richmond, bc the price of gas and time spent traveling back and forth, is probably what's keeping a lot of folks who want their "FABULOUS " back, from signing up with you guys....just a suggestion ”
