“First off their customer service is phenomenal. Really kind people here. Liz is especially amazing. However I waited a year before I gave a review to really know how it would make me look. Honestly, I look pretty much the same as before the procedure. I wouldn't recommend liposuction. Fact is there is no shortcut to a good looking body. I believe their doctor is good. I did a bunch of research on her before my procedure. I just do not have faith in lipo actually working. Of your mind is made up, then I would recommend coming here.”

“I would not recommend. I spent 10k for literally no results. Everything looks exactly as it did before surgery. I've waiting the 3 months to see if the swelling would go down, it has. I haven't gained weight or anything, just no results. Beware of speaking with the consultants too. They're very sweet, but told me I would have amazing results and have all my issues fixed, and then you pay and sign the contract which have an over 2k cancellation fee, and in your first appointment with the doctor you're told that all of the things you were told by the consultant is incorrect and you're not guaranteed any results at all. But by that point, you're already invested so you're hoping for the best.

Total waste. Also, they do not explain well about how much pain and assistance you're going to need post surgery. Honestly, would not recommend and if I could go back in time, I would've just worked out lol. Very disappointing and a waste of 10k I'll never get back.”

“I have been to several plastic surgeons who did not make me comfortable. Each consult They would basically blow off what i wanted. Dr. Plaskon was the first doctor was listened to what i wanted. He did not try to persuade me to get anything different. He made me feel really good about my liposuction .I had my pre-op and surgery within a week. The procedure it’s self was discomforting but it was well worth it. I’m on day 3 i have absolutely no bruising, i do have some swelling but the doctor prepped me before hand so that my recovery was quick. I checked reviews before and looked on websites to find a body my type. Being a person of color and a heavier person, he has given me my confidence back. This facility also gives discounts and promotional services . I’m a real person and i am truly thankful God allowed me to be placed in this facility with this doctor and can attest to his great work! Hopefully my pictures are posted on the website to help others.”

My entire stomach is a lumpy distended mess that is noticeably bigger than it was prior to surgery - especially on the right side where scar tissue has collected under the skin. My attempts to get some resolution has been disparaging having been met with gaslighting, delays and a topical procedure that unfortunately does not possess the ability to resolve my disfigurement. I simply want what I paid for and to fit into my clothes again.
This experience is not to say some of the staff are not absolutely wonderful ladies though that doesn’t change my daily experience when I look in the mirror or get dressed. 😔”

“I underwent surgery in Sonobello on October 4, 2021, with my chin and my front and back bra roll, and the upper and lower abdominal waist and upper arm.I spent almost $16000. I just wanted to clarify some things. For anyone getting this procedure done or thinking about it, starters, when they say that they can remove fat in one procedure, that is false because they only can remove a certain amount of liters. And they have to break this down into two different procedures; if you're getting more than one area done when you go in for your consultation, you do not meet with the surgeon or a nurse. Until pre-Op, you meet with a sales representative who is very friendly but who is not friendly when they are receiving thousands of dollars of your money into their company. And validates you on the path to your dream body. And for any reason, if you have to cancel After meeting with the surgeon before the procedure, they have a strict refund policy. Unfortunately, they do not validate their satisfaction guarantee. I was depressed and physically uneven after my procedure. I had to go back and forth with corporate until May 2022, when they finally agreed to revise, but they didn’t fix all the areas I was unhappy with; they decided to revise two areas which was frustrating Because now I will have to spend additional money elsewhere to fix the things I paid thousands of dollars for please do your research look at their reviews on the better business bureau”

“I had Sonobello on October 4, 2021, and I had chin jowl front and back bra roll upper and lower abdominal and arms For 15000. When you see the advertisements, and they say that they can remove all fat from the first procedure, that is not accurate. Either when you go in for a consult, you don’t meet with a nurse or a surgeon. You meet with a sales rep working overtime by selling you a dream to get their sale, and yes, she was friendly. Still, who isn't when they are making thousands of dollars off of you, and before you see a surgeon, you must put your money down, and if for any reason you change your mind when you meet the surgeon, their are no refunds. They will try and add more areas at this appointment, and when they say that satisfaction is guaranteed, that is not accurate either. I had to go back and forth with corporate and the nurses for months, and in May, They finally did agree to revise but only in two areas and not the other four areas I was unhappy with and will now have to spend more money to get it fixed I just wanted share, so no one else spends thousands of dollars thinking they will have the results they have dreamed of and FYI I Haven't Gained Weight Nor Lost weight, please look into other options before choosing this route I guarantee you'll be saving time and money this is the Walmart of plastic surgery”

She answered all of my questions, she gave me a price range, she’s scheduling me for a virtual appointment just to talk to someone. Found out for surgery, 6 months postpartum or later, it made sense. I definitely have a much better impression of Sono Bello (Tacoma, WA) after talking with her and look forward to my virtual appointment. Thank you!

I left my information and received a text from Mary in customer care. She was not customer friendly. Implied she’s schedule my consultation and then retreated and told me to call back in 4 weeks to schedule. She then told me she couldn’t schedule for Oct 20, 2022 because of my safety even though I’m 3 months postpartum on Oct 20th. Her poor service doesn’t give me any confidence in the company. The first face or person a potential client/patient sees is the face of the company. I also asked for pricing and basic but important information regarding the AbEX procedure and she replied she didn’t have any information. Everything she did offer was scripted and showcased no real knowledge and that she was not equipped, her lack of information makes me feel the company isn’t transparent and that makes me uncomfortable. I live in Tacoma and asked about scheduling at this location. They don’t do consultations on weekends so it’s just harder and harder, for me, to think Sono Bello puts patients first.”

I had to reschedule my surgery three times due to work and family illness and although stressful, they were very responsive and quickly helped reschedule my appointments. They take every opportunity to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere before, during, and after the procedure. “Beware, I hate my results. I am having to pay a new surgeon to fix it as I just can't stand it anymore. AND the initial area I went in for was not even touched as you meet with a sales rep not a surgeon during the free consultation, the surgeon told me during the post op that what I wanted was actually a separate surgery. I was upsold a lot of "problem areas" that I had no problem with until the beautiful sales rep mentioned them.
I wish I could just get my old body and 11,000 dollars I paid for them to ruin it back. 😭”

“I obtained my consult in April and surgery in June 2022. There was no pressure to schedule. All my questions were answered and even ones I didn't think of. At my pre-op appointment I met Dr Plaskon. He is funny, honest and very nice. All the nurses were great also. On my surgery day I was nervous but Jasmine my nurse was so friendly and relaxing. Soon Dr Plaskon came in and went over the procedure and marked my skin up. Then I went into the operating room. They played my music for me and the surgery went on. Time flew by. Soon we were done. Coming into my procedure I was very skeptic after reading reviews on different websites about results.
I am so happy that I went through with my procedure. Doctor Perez is the real deal! WOW!
If you want something done she is so good at what she does and goes above and beyond the results that you are expecting.
Even though you are awake the whole time I found myself waking up and the clock said it was 3 hours later. I must have dozed in-and-out multiple times because time flew like it was 20 minutes. Completely painless and did not feel one single thing.
I would do it all over again and again and again. I feel absolutely amazing today and I know this is just the beginning of the results that I will see once the swelling goes down.
I would say the 1st week and a 1/2 it was really hard to get in-and-out of a chair and in-and-out of bed but now 12 days in I am feeling so much better and absolutely so happy with my results. I would recommend Doctor Perez and her team anytime!!
Much to my surprise doctor even called me directly the next day to check on me which was incredibly appreciative, And just the cherry on top. Really, it meant SO much.”

“This place is AMAZING! From my consultation with Liz to my surgery with Dr. Perez and RN Lexi, everything has been perfect. Liz is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what procedures I would need to get my body looking the way I want it to. Dr. Perez and Lexi got me prepped well for my surgery and made the process nearly painless. The numbing part only hurts about as bad as a tattoo, and the surgery itself was completely painless. I am one month past my procedure and already see some great results. This is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself. I had shopped around a few places before deciding where to go. I am so happy I came here. They are professional and more importantly know exactly what they are doing. I had seen some things online that honestly had me second guessing if I wanted to go through with this. I am so happy I ignored the naysayers and went with the procedure. Their prices are so affordable that I saved $12k vs had I went to a place I was considering in Bellevue. And honestly I believe not only did I save money, I got a result that is likely better. Nothing against the other place, I just don't know how I could've gotten a better result. They even guarantee their work, so if a year later when completely healed if it isn't right they will fix it. “I spent months debating about whether I should have work done, I’ve been to the gym, I’ve worked all that I could and toned all that needed to be toned but I STILL was not happy with my body. Before I even stepped foot in Sono Bello I prayed about it, I had the money, and everything else to ensure that this won’t kick me back with my bills etc .. I saved up way more than needed to.

I made the decision to see them and spoke with Liz, who not only understood where I was coming from but spoke to me as an actual person - she didn’t try to sell me anything she was just a person hearing me out and letting me know what services they provided and ask ME when “I” wanted to proceed. I didn’t feel like I was getting pressured into anything. After speaking with Liz and almost dropping my whole cash in we decided to go the other route to save me money. I asked her to run my credit (I was qualified) and to book me in ASAP (the longer I waited the longer I’d second guess everything. I didn’t want to regret this one shot I had) so she did. I was approved to where my savings for the procedure can pay the operation and still take care of my family. Dear Liz .. thank you for being you and not treating me like a number or cash symbol. I’m truly glad I spoke with you that day I don’t know what the outcome would’ve been if I didn’t.

My Surgeons name was Dr Plaskon who promised me the truth and ensured that what he could do would be if not what I wanted, close to it. The nurses who assisted were Lexi and Clover. Clover asked what type of music I enjoy and played it in the OR which helped me remain calm throughout the procedure. I was sedated and even through the process provided me squishy’s for me to utilize and kept checking up on me making sure I was okay (I was). I can go on and on about the whole crew from Front Team to back lol they are all just Amazing !! I left Sono Bello happy knowing that the people who took care of me did their very best (and they really did)

Post - Op 24 hrs. I woke up the next day happy and immediately went for a walk. They recommended 10 minutes every two hours but my body clock always wakes up at 5am. I woke up that day and just started walking around, did a brisk walk and made sure I followed my doses of medications recommended by Dr and Nurses. The soreness I felt was equivalent to soreness I would feel if I were to do a full HIIT core workout for 6 hours. I didn’t leak as much as I thought I would so that was a bonus. I’m terrified of any possible infections from occurring so I immediately changed everything (gown, garments, paddings etc) . It’s been a full 24 hours and I can positively say that this whole experience was worth every penny.

I’ve referred at least 3 of my friends to see them. I would 100/100 recommend SonoBello for anyone. For those already in their fitness journey and afraid to come to a clinic like this due to peers statements let me help you. NO you are not lazy if you do this, you are here to become a better you for you - NOT them. If you knew me personally you’d know I’m a gym freak and used to have that same mentality but honey I deserved this … it’s okay to get a little help and I’m glad I chose Sono Bello to help me.

1. Consultant says to believe her, that I would heal faster than what the doctor says. That wasn't the case at all.
2. After being their patient, you stop being their priority, since you already paid.
3.They can reschedule any appointments but the moment I have to reschedule 1 appointment, they call it "No show".. so they book out 1 month out at a time as "punishment " as it seems.
4. For my next appointment, never received the texts reminders like they promise I would and verified that they didn't send the text and once again, tried to schedule me 1 month out.”

“So this is my experience: I went in for. my consult with Liz She quoted. me
$10,000 so I went ahead and proceeded with a deposit. Than when I saw my doctor she was nice but told me to get the results that I wanted I would need to pay an additional $2700 which really put me on the spot since my surgery was in a couple of days, the manger stated that she would void the no money back policy which honestly in previous reviews they stated that the manger had said the same thing and it was really hard to get a refund. So I decided to go through with the procedure , that went well, no complaints. After week one my tape started bothering. me I called the office I was directed to the call center and asked to move up my post op appointment they reached back out to me via nurse the nurse stated to leave the tape alone and she would have the. front call me back to move up my post. OP appointment when they called me back they stated I can't do that you need to talk to a nurse. So after explaining to them four times that I already spoke to a nurse I was able to make the appointment, to only than be called back and told that the nurse won't see me only the doctor. will so If I don't re arrange my. schedule to be seen this afternoon I would have to wait until next week. the nurse felt like I was yelling at the front and refused to see me, so if the nurse wasn't on the phone why would she just believe what a someone says based on a one sided conversation. I feel so uncomfortable. going. back to an office that not only lies about a phone conversation, also gossip about patients. It sucks. because I already paid them and now I have to find another doctor to do my post op care

“Finally getting around to doing my review. Let me start with saying that Laser Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. I knew this going in but wanted to add this information before continuing with my story. The reason for me to do this was to target a couple areas that I could not lose the weight and jump-start my weight loss program. I think the only appointment that was misleading was the initial consultation. The woman I saw was very nice and went over everything from pricing, before and after stories and go over the areas that would be best to do for the procedure. The reason I say misleading was when she was talking about the before and after stories it was mentioned that one person lost over 25lbs and another one around 15lbs. Now – Do not get me wrong, this probably was the case but not because of the procedure alone. My take is that this more like a consultation and sales pitch but I already did my research so I knew what to expect and that was okay.

The areas that I decided to have done were the outer thighs, hips and upper and lower abdomen. They did give me some discounts that I appreciate. The price covers the pre-op, procedure, two post-ops and the garments you have to wear for a few weeks after the procedure. I will say that the first two garments they provided were just too small so when I went to my first post-op they provided me with a bigger one with no added fees.

Overall, the procedure went fine. The nurse that did my IV had some struggles. I really hate needles and wish they had someone more experienced. The medicine they gave you definitely did its job, I never had any major pain, and maybe a couple of areas of discomfort. The first night was probably the worst pain wise but that was it. The garments are a pain to wear so be prepared for that if you decide to get this done. My husband had to help me put it on the first week, as my swelling was bad.

After the procedure, they show you how much fat they were able to take out. I only vaguely recall this, as I was pretty out of it from the meds. For all four areas, they took 6lbs of fat. I know this does not sound like much but you have to remember they removed the fat from those four areas only.

I had my procedure done the first week of November and my final post-op was early February. I went from 182 to 165lbs losing a total of 17lbs. As I stated at the top the procedure for me was a jump-start to my weight loss program. 6lbs from the procedure and 11lbs from the diet I chose and exercise. I’m a 52 year old woman and weight loss is very hard for me to achieve during menopause.

I am very happy with my results and would definitely recommend. This was totally worth the price for me. Just do your research and know what to expect going in.”

“FIRST OFF. LIZ IS AMAZING! I’d marry that woman if i could 😂. She is a god send from heaven it’s self. Jocelyn is a amazing and caring nurse and the surgeon was so helpful. I know if i couldn’t stand starring at my body i couldn’t imagine what he thought but he was so nice and explained everything in detail from start to finish. There was no judgment at all. I was so nervous for the procedure but he definitely made it a bit easier. The procedure itself was a bit uncomfortable and i know i was squirming around a bit on the touchy points but he didn’t act frustrated at all and I’m so thankful for that. If you are looking into this place for anything . It will be money well spent and so worth it. Thank you to all the staff all the way down to the receptions. Everyone was so nice and professional. I’m excited for future procedures cause I’m for sure going back for anything else i want done.”

The procedure was not exactly painless but I feel like they did a great job making it as comfortable as possible. “UPDATE: It’s been 9 months since I had work done and I’m extremely disappointed in the results. The fat in my stomach area hasn’t change much, my stomach is uneven, I will be scheduling a follow up because this is seriously money wasted. I haven’t gained any weight since surgery, I workout 3-5 days a week, I eat okay and I still wear my undergarment that was giving to me.

“Everybody wass so professional but at the same time treated me like family. From my consultation with Dorothy (whom will be my forever friend going forward) pre op with Shakira and Dr. Plaskon. Dr. Plaskon was very transparent with what I could and should expect. Day of procedure, Jocelyn (hopefully I spelled her name right), 1 million % amazing!!! Answering any new questions I had, making me feel comfortable but more importantly, safe. Once the meds kicked in it was over before I new it and Jocelyn was helping me get into my garment, LOL, bless her heart and walked me to the car where my husband stood in wait. The next day Dr. Plaskon called to check on me and Tuesday another nurse called to follow up.
My 10 day post op was just as fantastic, Dorothy practically met me at the door with bells on and the nurse got me right back, was a very fun and friendly visit. Again answering all my questions and encouraging me with reasonable expectations.”

My experience at the Sono Bello clinic in Tacoma, Washington was fantastic. The ambiance when you first walk-in is very calm, comforting and professional. Located in a gorgeous building, the office itself made me feel at ease the moment I walked in for my appointment.

I scheduled an appointment with the Front Desk coordinator, Janelle, who was so perky and friendly! She was efficient with checking me in, providing me with the paperwork and offered me a beverage while I was waiting. She had a great smile too and for being the first face you see when you walk into Sono Bello, it was a pleasant check-in experience and great first impression.

A few minutes after, I met with Liz, the sales consultant. Liz is outstanding — she knew exactly what I wanted based on the needs expressed, asked questions to determine my level of comfort and more importantly, what my goals were. I was concerned about working with a sales professional first before speaking to the actual doctor, but I can confidently say that Liz knows her stuff! She was able to paint the picture, in detail, of the procedure, recovery process and payment options. Examples of before/after were shown to me, as well as all necessary charts and more. My main concern was how quick recovery time was as I work a large amount of hours per week — she assured me that the recovery was quick and gave me all the information I needed to schedule around the procedure.

The medical staff at Sono Bello in Tacoma is also top notch and extremely professional. Dr. Barthel and Nurse Shellie made my pre-op meeting a pleasant experience. I was educated on the procedure, the medication and more. The process from pre-procedure and post-procedure was explained to me in detail and also in a way that related to my lifestyle/job. Knowing who your doctor is before the procedure put me at ease 100% — I’m sure a lot of prospective clients don’t realize that they get to meet their doctor beforehand, so this was definitely great to know.

Thumbs up to the entire Sono Bello clinic in Tacoma! From beginning to end, the process was a great experience. I would highly recommend their services for anyone wanting body contouring. “My surgery went very, very well. The team was extremely friendly and moreso, EXCITED for my procedure. They kept telling me how great I was going to look and feel afterwards — and they were right! And I’m writing this review only four days after the surgery itself!

For the procedure, it’s a fairly simple process: they drug you up, numb you up and then the magic begins. After numbing treatment was given, I didn’t feel much pain during the actual procedure. The nurse was a sweetheart (Sylvie!) and Janelle from the front desk was super nice too. They both helped me to my ride outside and have proper instructions to my caretaker (my brother).

During the first night I slept, I knocked out eight when I got home. Meds help - a lot! During the second night, I was pretty sore and groggy. But during the day on the third day, I was fine! It was encouraged to walk as much as possible and stay active — I went to work, went shopping, ran errands, etc.

The Sono Bello team in Tacoma was great! They explained the process well (it was my first time ever having surgery), they were friendly and nice and they were all so passionate about their job. I called today to ask a simple question (lol: when can I begin drinking coffee again?) and the front desk woman, was able to answer questions right away because she has also had multiple procedures!

5 stars to the Tacoma team at Sono Bello! If it’s your first time or you’re still contemplating whether or not you should proceed with booking them — do it! The nurses, Sales managers, doctors and front desk coordinators are all fantastic. And if you worried about down time (like I was) — give yourself 2-3 days and you’ll be just fine. :)”

“Sonobello has been so far a gr8 experience for me. Im 59, weight 184 comin in to this program, for stomach, sides, and back and now I weight 167. My goal is 155, and I believe with right attitude, staying positive, don’t expect them to give u ur dream idea weight. It’s a process, with u doing ur part- changing ur diet, exercise, and a good attitude. Plz, plz, plz don’t expect it to change overnight, it may take a few more times( if needed); but be happy in making those changes in ur life to make u feel good about yourself.
I’ve seen people who come to sonobello and they are very overweight expecting the business to take all that weight off them, it doesn’t work that way. I think, that if I had known that I needed to lose more weight before I went to sonobello, I’d be at my 155 goal by now. One of my best moment was when after the procedure I looked at my stomach and I didn’t have that flap hanging down on my stomach anymore!!
I could touch my stomach from the top and go straight down with my hand!! Lol it may some crazy; but I felt awesome. I hope I have given someone some hope to try sonobello. Yes I was scared, freaking out; but this was on my bucket list. Lol
One more thing, the procedure is like getting a tattoo inside of u with cat paws !!! Lmfao!!!

“so...I had twins a few years ago and any one who has had a child can confirm that your body will likely never be the same. How I felt about my body had a huge impact on how I was living my life. I made the decision to do something about it. I called Sono Bello to make an appointment and I swear to you that was the hardest part. Liz (Most amazing consultant ever) was more than gracious about what I considered to be my flaws. I decided that letting myself feel better about my appearance was a really important part of changing my outlook. I feel confident and strong and I deserve to take care of me, for me.
I have always had an hour glass figure but after the twins my hour glass had a few extra minutes...
I had several areas done, including upper and lower abs, thighs, and arms...aka...all the things that jiggle.
I was more excited than nervous about surgery day and it was so much less than I hyped it up to be. Everyone was great about making you feel at ease and its professional with a soft side. I have since been back for Venus Legacy with Erica and it feels like a long overdue mini vacation.

“I had lipo to my upper and lower abdomen, waist and back bra roll in July of last year. I was supposed to have my e/x done too but the dr had to stop due to bleeding. I waited six months and got my e/x done as well as some additional lipo to some new places. I’m almost two weeks post op now from my latest surgery figured I’d post some pics! “Do not go here! I had my procedure done. They warned me it could take two procedures to get the job done but if that is necessary it would be half the cost. Since the first procedure I have called a dozen times to schedule the second procedure and every time they say they are having issues scheduling it because the original doctor switched locations but they assure me they will call me back as soon as they can figure it out with the home office... it has been 6 months and nothing. Should have bought a new car instead of this garbage.”

“Ive been unhappy with my procedures since they were done. I was not numb enough when the Dr started, so it hurt A LOT. I kept kicking my legs because it hurt.... so he yelled at me to stop. (They gave me xanax to calm down, didnt help)
I have tried for the past 10 months to either get a revision due to my complete lack of satisfaction, or get my money back. They have strung me along making promises they havent kept.
They avoid listening to the client. Both Bri and Joanne have made promises to help with this process, and theyve fallen flat. Neither keeps in contact as they promised, and no solution is made.
I want my money back, I do not trust Sono Bello to do my revision or any other procedures. They lie, scam, and avoid customers when they have any kind of concern.
Go to a REAL facility!!!!”

“Where to start... ? I have been thinking about doing something like this for a few years now. After loosing 110lbs and being in great shape, I had to have a serious back surgery and couldn't run or workout like I did before. So, of course, I gained a little of the weight back. But no matter what I did even before my surgery, I could never get rid of my 'muffin-top' and I also had never really had a waist to speak of as I'm very short in stature. So, when I finally worked up the nerve, I called Sono Bello. From the first phone call, I was put at ease. I was afraid to be judged or looked down on. No one made me feel that way. From my consultation with Liz, up to today, my 3 month post op appt, they have been the nicest, kindest and totally funniest office staff!! Kristin at the front desk, well, she's hilarious!! At my consult I had a hoot of a time with Liz- I was nervous because I was not able to speak to a doctor right away but during pre op and surgery date they answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease. I'm only a few weeks post op so time will tell, but pleased thus far.”
